Great effort by Mr Spyros. This has no Oud for sure just like 99pc of colognes with the golden words Oud/Oudh/Aoud. The perfume starts with a a leathery animalic dirty tone almost like a animal musk moat likely civet or castoreum backed by a sharp lavender which adds a touch of powdery balsamic sharpness to the scent. Its quite dry. The top is soon joined by stingy black peppers and some nutmeg like spiciness. Great job. The drydown is highly cedar like. The scent oozes class and is quite comforting to self. Definitely one for cool environ. The performance is great and never ever does the composition become redundant. Fabulous job. As an Oud lover I appreciate his vision. And the scent is extremely close to ROud elements by Kerosene. Very very similar.

Adore this dry oud fragrance. Just finished my first bottle, placing an order for a new one. To some people, it may be not very interesting because it's just a single note perfume, but if you are looking for something minimalistic, elegant and not tacky (but also dark, seductive and with crazy longevity) NOOUD by Baruti is your guy ;)

This is the kind of ( oud ) where a man or a lady can use. smooth , soft , a bit strong but not in a bad way. I'm getting some ( incense ) here, not sure if it's my imagination there's a hint of that. I would say , this is a mature perfume , not good in hot weather , more of a night choice. Again , Where the heck is the incense !!

Honestly i was very interested in the name and that is the main reason i bought it. The juice is very nice strong and long lasting, it is elegant and nice to wear to major events or evenings.

This is such a dark mysterious and sublime fragrance. Perfect for those in touch with their darker side.

It smells like oud and mold. weird scent profile but I like it

The opening smells exactly like malt whisky and I’m not just talking about the initial blast before it settles. Even after that it has a sharp boozy warmth and definitely evokes the resinous qualities of oud. It’s sharp to the point of nose tingling and even unpleasantly cutting, however when it dries down becomes very much like a leathery, peppered wood and resin, maybe even a bit oaky. I liked it. No idea what it cost but didn’t have enough impact for me, I’m more of a bourbon man that single malt and really didn’t like Atelier cologne’s gold leather at first, but then grew to absolutely love it and there’s something of that to this fragrance. So maybe I could this too in time.

A wearable oud: bone-dry, well-behaved, not “exploding” in any direction, not barnyardy, and not suffocating. I enjoyed it; but to truly wear this, you probably need to be an oud lover... while also not having spent too much time with very raw, hardcore ouds, because this might come across as almost refined in comparison. It's oud without oud and however it's one accord very nuance one. It opens with basement vibe and then fades into warm, deep little sweet oud and wood. Drydown is very cozy and reminds me Boccanera base. Winter scent. For grownup.

It's a little minty in the top then camphorous. It's similar to a nonanimalic oud but I am sniffing cedar in here, too. Very dry and balsamic. In the final drydown nine hours in, there is definitely amber in the base.

When I first sprayed this, I was of course expecting wood. That was not the case. Instead, I was hit (and I do mean hit, this was two sprays from a sample atomizer on the neck and even that was enough to almost knock me off my feet) with what I have to say most closely resembles a Scotch from Islay. It was smoky, salty, and medicinal, like I had poured a dram of Laphroaig 10 year old. That did not last particularly long as the overall wood scents took over. This is basically an interpretation of oud and wood, very simple and powerful. I think it could be for layering and adding that scent to something else, but alone, I don't see myself wearing it too much. For as powerful as the opening was, the longevity is not as impressive as I was expecting. It's only been a few hours since I sprayed it and already I'm having to work a bit to notice it.

Certainly a huge synthetic leap towards the barnyard type oud. For the first 1-2 hours it was an old wooden furniture store that also had water damaged board game boxes. Oh, and a hint of mint. Yes, I know, mint isn't listed. It seems to hide there in one of those board game boxes. After about the 2 hour mark it was near a skin scent that I could actually deal with. The drydown wasn't bad at all. Total time was about 5 hours and change for me. Testing from a sample included in their discovery set.

Wayyy too spicy. It hits your nose and almost hurts. Better once it mellows out, but I'd still describe it as an old man smell. Not a big fan but it's not totally offensive, may like it if you're an Old Spice kind of person.

Oh ma lawd. I love deep and woody but there's something very chemically that burns my nose and makes my eyes water. I am not a fan, but I also don't hate it from a far.

This is a very generic concept of what Oud should smell like, with a bit of mintyness. I cannot justify the price of it, and there are far more interesting oud scents that are Worth investing in (for example, Byredo Oud Immortell or Maison Francis Kurdjan Oud series). Try Before you buy, if you are an oud-lover, this is would not bring anything new to your table.

I'm beginning to think this house is just not my vibe. This smelled like chemically treated leather, slightly medicinal oud, and magic marker, drying down to ambroxan. It's a pass for me.

Absolutely godawful, sickening (in a bad way) immediate scrubber. Nooud is a fitting name. This is an insult to oud fragrances.

For a scent that apparently had NO OUD in it, it definitely smells a lot like oud! So much so, it reminds me of the VERY first time I actually got to sample genuine oud in Kota Kinabalu at Christmas in 2013. I got a few vials of Brunei organic oud from a small boutique (which also sold bear claws, of all things), and even though I was NOT a fan of these, I remember the smell vividly. That's what this is right here. Even though I do NOT like it (sorry), it is pretty close to form...

Recreation of Oud without the real deal. I assume that’s often the case and I really like the pun here. I’m not an Oud expert by the way. I do have smelled the real deal but was never fan enough to go for it. Here it’s smooth and strong with a camphorous aspect. Not overly barnyardy. Perhaps less nuanced than real oud but I like this a lot better than many of the ‘Oud’ perfumes nowadays. You’ll be assured of performance here.

** UPDATE** as a minimalist 1 dimensional fragrance it does exactly as it set out to do. Dry, woody maybe a bit boring to some I do however find myself wearing this in the winter from time to time. I appreciate them naming it Nooud and telling everyone it doesn't have any oud in it because so many brands who claim to use OUD are absolutely not and its disgusting what is allowed for marketing.

A passing resemblance to an ashtray mentholated note present in Heeley's Phoenicia. Instead of story development, it presents a stark one note dimensional. Interesting as a building block. Not sure if I would want to wear it alone. I change my rating to thumbs up as Baruti follows in the traditions of Dior Elixir. "Here ya go"? "Recognize the perfumer within."

Melt-your-eyebrows-off synthetic oud that smells like a gay sex club. Intriguing animalic scent that smells like tequila sodas being pissed out into a troff urinal, men wearing leather and no deodorant crowding dark rooms, and house music droning past 2am. Described as photorealist bukhour, there is nothing sacred about this freaky perfume.

Smells good but it's a very synthetic Oud that a lot of houses use. It absolutely does not smell anything remotely close to real oud, sorry but go buy 1ml of real oud and compare! Absolutely not worth 150$ for 30ml...I was so excited to dive into this house but what an utter disappointment the whole experience has been

If this doesn't have oud in it then Spyros is a genius! It trully has that oud simulation at max although I sense some vacuumed factory sealed bag. But after all I can't deny that this smells like oud which is the type of oud that Europeans generally know.

A dry, slightly peppery and lightly incensey oud accord with a faint lemon zest note. Closest resembling malay with a slight papuan green. Very good oud accord, one that actually resembles the real deal in a few ways!

This was a blind buy and a good one for me. A lovely warm woody concoction that grows on you more each time of wearing. Definitely a 4+.

Made to simulate wooden dry oud with a strong earthy smoke smell, But it's weak spread

It is a beautiful, woody, and incense-like fragrance but lacks longevity and sillage.

+1 moldy humid basement, but also something weirdly compelling about it
