Nue au Soleil

This is really so beautiful! (So is the bulk of the line.) This one is citrus, tea and moss. Sparkling, dry and gorgeous. There is a creaminess there to make you comfortable. I feel youthful, beautiful, effervescent and glowing and like everyone in the world must like me. This one is a 4.5/5. Divine! Bastide has created one of the best fragrance lines i have smelled in recent years. All offerings are excellent (Rose, Nue, Figue and 1958 are standout to me!) all are casual, sporty outdoor scents (none of them are really for dress up, for evenings, etc. though ‘Fig Amour’ is ‘serious’). I would like to own 3 or maybe even 4 of them. Wow Mathieu Nardin!

Lovely, but basic. Given the notes, no surprise that longevity is not the best. I'd buy it at a third of the price.

I really like this... it reminds me of Louis Vuitton Cactus Garden.... it just doesn't have the staying power.

Effervescent citrus and tart petitgrain. Some gentle greenery with the geranium note. Definitely a herbal/mint tea note going on in there. Dry down brings a damp mossy-ness. Very similar to Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden. Performance is bad, not a whole lot of base tying it down. VERDICT: Absolutely lovely fresh citrus scent that I would happily douse myself in on a hot day. Missing a wow factor for me, lacking the complexity or uniqueness to be a 'love'.

A beautiful, light minty green tea with a squeeze of citrus, an easy crowd pleaser. Love the packaging and the light touch given to all of the scents in this line. Perfect for warm weather, gone in about 90 minutes.

this is very refreshing, nice for summer, as is obvious by the notes...opens with mint, tea and petitgrain for me, then some musk, orange and maybe a hint of geranium? it's citrus/herbal and perfectly unisex.

Smells like fruit loops and lasts for about 30 minutes.

I'm not a fan of tea/citrus fragrances. But the discovery set came with this fragrance sample, so I had to try it. To my nose, there's no perceivable mint and the fleeting tea scent adds nothing to the citrus overall. Dare I say that I think the tea was coming off more like graphite? Dare I do! Anyway, it's not an offensive fragrance and I'm happy that so many find the fragrance to be fantastic. But it's just not for me and that's ok too.
