A beautiful composition chasing sweet Tonka Bean in the middle Accompanied by ginger to the very end. A wonderful review of this unique component that opens fresh but emphasizes that something fine, pleasant and deeply imbued is coming. Harmonious notes and very innovative, I dare say, because the scent follows me non-stop and I follow its movement. Definitely one of the more fun perfumes to try and watch it play on the skin. Pleasant, serious and very harmonious. I am pleasantly surprised with this discovery and definitely satisfied with what it provides me. This is a deeper version than Bvlgari Tygar, Ex Nihilo - The Hedonist, Sospiro - Vibrato. I'm saying all these enumerated because of the ginger, because it can be felt right up to the dry down. Very colorful and deep. Worth mentioning and owning because of its totally different approach to the given topic. The perfume has that unique twist that you will definitely feel and recognize, and that's exactly what will win you over as well as me. Serious recommendation :)

I haven't worn this yet, but it's been slowly growing on me. I agree with other reviewers that there is a slight rubbery/latex smell in the opening, but I'm not mad about it. The cedar, pink pepper, tonka and saffron blend into something quite intoxicating, not dissimilar to wood polish. It's sophisticated and kind of dirty at the same time, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't intrigued

It's in the lane of an Oud Wood.(this probably has the same amount of oud that TF Oud Wood contains, which is none) Bit more of a spice to it, hence making it a bit more interesting. The spice does not outshine the woods, which is a good thing. All-in-all, it's a well done woody/spicy fragrance with not much sweetness.

Interesting accurate olfactoric journey. Blue-watercolor red-brown fragrance that compiles hot cedar or alder wood in the form of a sauna, salt walls, high humidity, wellness with eucalyptus aroma lamp and a distant pool or other large body of water with a hint of chlorine disinfection. 50 ml for 100 Euro...so so but could be like 55-75 Euro for this. If you like wellness worlds or saunas and want to have them with you, definitely don't hesitate and try.

I get green tea house in the Orient. Asian spices, warm tea bags, and a bit of scent from the wooden floors. It’s a very calm scent and does grow on you. You won’t need much though. Too heavy for summer as the woody and spice notes take over. Great in cooler weather.

What can I say , took a leap and did a blind buy .. my bad . This is a parfum concentrate but is weak which is good as this is not pleasant in any way shape or form . All I get is Patchouli and Amber and the sage note is not at all welcome . I have no hints of Safron or Ginger or the Pink Pepper which would have been welcome . There also seems to be a chemical smell as a top note , I can't put my finger on it . But save your money and maybe try something else from this house .

I was loving the way this started out--warm, resinous, and spicy!! But sadly, as this dried down it goes too synthetic for me. I'm not sure if it's the Amber Xtreme or if there is maybe some ambroxan in this (or a combo of both), but there's definitely some aromachemical in this that's ruining it for me. I'd enjoy this on someone else, but it's not for me.

I agree that Bataille is in the same vein as Oud Wood but it is lighter and not as musky and heavy. The saffron is very present on my skin and gives the scent a slight plasticky top which mellows to a peppery, woody and leathery finish. Almost salty/ mineral in the end. Might be why Ganymede is included as alike.
