Demain Promis

This is too masculine for me to wear but boy oh boy is it a sexy, swoon-worthy, near-gourmand, modern and delicious man-scent. Gentle but not to be overlooked - quietly powerful. Rawr. PS - I don't really see fragrances as gendered, but there's something about this that reminds me of the 'clubbing male' or 'millennial man on a date' from personal experience. I do wear many gender-inclusive and even male-targeted fragrances (Givenchy Pi, Chanel Egoiste, Cartier Declaration); I think the reasons I won't wear this are more about the sense of atmosphere it creates. Maybe yes, bed date (as per the marketing copy) but one that isn't alone...?

I absolutely love this scent! It opens with a refreshing blast of cardamom—crisp and invigorating. As it settles, sage and lavender join in, adding an exceptionally clean and calming vibe. Then comes a soft, cozy layer of milk and Cashmeran, giving the fragrance a comforting warmth. This scent brings to mind a sleek, modern hotel at Helsinki Airport—a place that feels both refreshing and relaxing. It’s clean, sophisticated, and has a touch of tranquility that makes it perfect for any occasion.

Beautiful. One of my favourites based on scent alone. Definitely gives sentimental Mediterranean summer house... I just wish it was a bit stronger!

Creamy/milky Lavender with some spice up top. Unreal for the fall/spring time. Highly recommend for Lavender lovers.

This is a very pretty scent with a perfectly natural cardamom topnote underlined by delicate lavender. Rose, milk and tonka-cashmeran in the heart and base. Not very long lasting, and fades to a discreet tonka-cashmeran skinscent, but I love the soaring cardamom-plus-touch-of-lavender opening so much that I keep respraying. Interesting to see vetiver and patchouli in the notes list - I can't detect them. It's the most comfortable cardamom perfume I've encountered, cheerful and comforting.

Milky, a bit dusty and overall pleasant. It has a sentimental quality, like an old Mediterranean house you visit once or twice a year during the holidays. Summer and spring leaning, performs much better in warmer situations. Good for work.

First impression smells quite similar to xerjoff starlight. Maybe a bit more powdery and a bit more sweet.

This is so milky! Yes, the opening is a cardamom bomb - and a delicious one, but it quickly becomes a pretty realistic smell of milk. Keep that in mind as if you, like me, are not a fan of cow's milk - as it might be off-putting. It's definitely an interesting creation - similar in tone to Paco Rabanne Erotic Me. I'd say Demain Promis is smoother and more balanced than Erotic Me, especially once you get to the sweet, creamy base, but the idea behind these two seems similar.

Tried this from the Bastille discovery set and it’s my favorite from the brand. Demain Promis smells like cool milk infused with lavender and cardamom — gentle, aromatic, and soothing. It’s not sweet at all, just soft and comforting. It stays very close to the skin and doesn’t last long (about 1–2h), but that’s part of its charm. A true skin scent — intimate, cozy, and perfect for quiet moments.

Not unisex, male parfum. it light, fresh and could be a bit stronger

Im looking directly at the tester sittign in front of me on my table, thinking once again that someone changed those vials...Im getting slightly sparkling C-vitamin orange aroma that you might be familiar with from those white colour orange-like tasting vitamin-based frosted candy that melts in your mouth while simultaneously cracking on your tongue. Little pungent, artificial... and you can feel it very well even if you go to take a leak later...and that aroma is here bit too...if you push my hand really hard, there might be some cinnamon and lavender parts, but only as high, fleeting notes almost like extremely high tones in music. As a whole package...extremely weak.

I mostly get lactonic notes and a lot of sage. Starts out nicely, but not a fan of the direction this goes in. It also feels like there is some iso e super in here for the woody notes, which I'm not liking. Kind of reminds me of Basilica with the lactonic and herbal/aromatic combo...but that one has a churchy incense to it. I'm not the biggest fan of sage, and this is a pass for me.

I have a love hate relationship with this perfume I think because Bastille uses all natural ingredients its very weak , barely projects , it's practically a skin scent. All that being said , it's very well blended and feels premium. Now to how it smells, it starts with this very pleasant bergamot cinnamon and cardamom , the bergamot is the most prominent making it pretty citrusy but the hint of cinnamon and cardamom make it less citrusy and more pleasant, now one of the main reasons I like this fragrance is because it changes so much over time like there's a clear top , middle and base. All this takes a very long time I'd say around 2-3 hours because most fragrances that change over time the top lasts like 5 minutes at best. The middle notes start to come in with the sage or lavender first giving it a similar vibe to Rojas Burlington 1819 middle notes aswell , which some people think smells a bit like body odour which I kind of smell but not really , after this for some reason on my skin the fragrance just disappears which I found very odd the first time I put it on thinking that it just had bad performance almost made me not buy it but I knew it couldn't be it because I really liked this fragrance because of the dry down I smelt on paper which I didn't even smell on skin. Now give it some time maybe like an hour then you finally get the dry down of this pleasant slightly woody tonka and cashmeran combo which is so nice sweet pleasant and worth the weird middle section in my opinion. To conclude it's a great lovely scent especially that final dry down, but people around you aren't gonna be able to smell you that much so you should definitely try it and see for yourself. I will say that it does last very long practically all day but its just a very faint scent throughout , but on clothes it lasts even longer and I don't really get the weird in-between no scent phase but it takes forever to dry down on clothes the fragrances takes a long time to reach the middle and an even longer to reach the end dry down.

Quite an unusual scent. It opens with a familiar bergamot, but the bergamot is just playing the supporting role. It's lifting something that is quite nutty and powdery, like a hazelnut scent. The cardamom then takes over, and I am pretty sure there is some cumin in the heart note. The cumin leaves after a while and gives way to a pleasant, comforting skin scent. This is not a scent for those who want to announce their presence, its more of a personal scent that you put on while waiting for your friends to come over to your place for a nice warm meal on a sunday afternoon. I just wished the longevity was better though.

This is a very soft aromatic perfume that smells mainly of sage, lavender and soft spices- one of which I think must be cumin because I detect the tell tale BO smell although it isn’t hugely offensive. There is also a lactonic undertone. Overall it is very warm, smooth and soft, like a favourite scarf. It isn’t sweet at all, but I would say it’s unisex. I wish the lavender were stronger. I wanted more of a spa vibe, but I would say it’s not really that- It’s more like spiced milk with no sugar.

I blind bought this based on its notes...I love them all, however it leans masculine. I hated it on me but absolutely adore it on my husband! I just want to bury my head into his neck. It's definitely cardamom and tonka with bergamot and lavender. It's very sexy on a man! It sits close to the skin. Not much sillage or projection but the skin scent lasts a good 6hrs. For the price, it's definitely a winner!
