Pleine Lune

At age 38 (yesterday) I finally found my best signature fragrance. Something that is soothing, floral, slightly sweet (just a hint!), not too cloying and developed since the first spray. This scent is very balance for the floral aura, proper jasmine & tuberose, very soft but powerful for surrounding. This is my first perfume that I continously sniffed and spray at the proper time. I used to love JM - Blue Agava and Cacao, but sadly discontinued. This fragrance is better replacement to that. I also adored gourmand fragrance from CSP line like Vanille Extreme & Amour de Cacao (2017 - new version). This Pleine Lune, I believe was made with love with high detail manner. I've never sniffed the same fragrance before. The best!

This is a fragrance that feels like it was made with love - how else could it be so very balanced and wearable? This is a light, effervescent white floral that has a sweet, petal-and-hedione throw. The sweetness is a perfect amount of sweet. There is a butteriness to the tuberose, and a lightly soapy aspect in there too, without impacting the realness of the florals. The orange blossom, jasmin and tuberose are the perfect floral menage-a-trois. This smells rather like Hermes' Twilly but without the ginger, but also this is softer and more delicate.

It starts off crisp and green (which I thought was petitgrain but turned out to be the matcha), then the neroli starts peeking through. Remains soft, fresh, and airy. I'm normally not a fan of tuberose, as I find it cloying, heavy, and grape bubblegum-like (L'Interdit, Gucci Bloom), but I don't get that at all here. Not a dupe, but the greenness followed by the neroli reminds me a lot of Chanel Paris Riviera. I'd buy a full bottle of the longevity was better. Unfortunately it lasts only a couple hours, but it's really pretty and unique.

This smells like those grape-scented erasers at first (with a bit of pencil shavings). I love it. I've never loved a tuberose fragrance before, but this one takes the cake. Usually, tuberose smells extremely indolic on my skin. It's my least favorite note in a perfume...but this is so gorgeous - airy & effervescent. It's perfect for spring & summer, but I'm sure it'll be beautiful in the winter too. I think this is a safe blind buy!

Going through a discovery set and this one just made me LOVE it out of all the others. It is tea forward with an aquatic white flower scent. The tuberose isn’t over powering like My Way but is noticeable. I imagine being at the pool with warmed lotion on my skin. It’s not tropical it’s more so soft and luxurious. Perfect spring and summer fragrance.

So pretty and clean. My favourite floral scent so far. It has dethroned Coco Mademoiselle as my go-to simple feminine fragrance. I found that CM clung to me and my clothes, and was pretty sharp. This is not that at all, but still the same vibe, and generally fresher.

This is not what I expected from the notes! It reminds me a lot of Floraiku I Am Coming Home. It's all bright citrus tea and syrupy-sweet orange flower in the open. After around 30 minutes the gingery tea moves to the background and a slightly soapy tuberose/neroli peaks through, giving it a fresher floral aspect than IACH (which stays on the ginger tea full-throttle the entire wear) There's honestly not much tuberose here, especially considering the previous comments. The orange flower is definitely the prominent white floral, then followed by the neroli and a little bubblegum tuberose is just kinda of hanging out in the background. Very very sweet but not cloying or so sweet that those who typically avoid sweet fragrances wouldn't enjoy it, but syrupy enough that I think the LDBS crowd would love it

Light, airy tuberose and green notes that are sunny and friendly and calming. Honestly just a really bubbly and beautiful scent, really well balanced and gentle, with an incredible matcha opening that I've never smelled before. The realistic matcha/mate lasts all of around 10 minutes, at least on my skin, but fades into the gentle white floral notes pretty harmoniously. This scent has pretty low projection and lasts a maximum of 2 hours. Performs well in warmer weather, but is incredibly soft and skin-like. Very youthful. I see this as a fragrance best suited for girls in that 16-23yo age range, if I'm honest. It's just so delicate and inoffensive and innocent. Wish the longevity and projection was a little better for the price-point...

Got a sample of this after buying another perfume. It indeed feels very fresh and you can immediately feel the aroma of white flowers and matcha. It is a very subtle fragrance that doesn't feel overbearing at all and reminds me of a clean and fresh grass that has been cut in the morning. Once applied after a few minutes the scent is not strong but you can still notice it, once it's on skin you can also kind of smell the peppers very faintly combined with the jasmine; the matcha however I would say it disappears pretty soon after being applied. Looks good as a summer subtle fragrance for daily wear.

Very refreshing tuberose-matcha fragrance. Somehow an unusual combination that makes a great "heatwave" fragrance choice. If you enjoy green fragrances, tuberose and sharp/realistic green tea notes in fragrances you'll love this one. Orange blossom and neroli are actually sweetening the mix here. That's how green it is. Longevity is not so great and it quickly becomes a skin scent that will last for half a day I'd say. To me this one this one smells like a scorching hot Summer.

The opening is divine! Realistic matcha powder, with a bit of bitterness. It sadly only lasts for 30 seconds or so and then the scent becomes a white floral. I really like the tuberose stage, as it's really well done here - clean, simple, green rather than bubblegummy sweet. I personally get very little of the base notes, it develops into jasmine on me and disappears as such. Longevity is poor to moderate (3/4hours). It's a lovely option for tuberose / jasmine lovers.

This is your perfect summery non-indolic white floral fragrance, the office friendly classy one that feels green and invigorating, but not bitter. In my case it's mostly jasmine with just a dash of tea. The kind of perfume that would be a good pairing with a white cotton dress.

A gorgeous, cozy, fresh smell. On the website where I bought it they described it as “a scene from La La Land” and that’s right in the spot. A really nice white floral. And what I liked is that the matcha lingered on the skin for quite some time

For tuberose lovers with notes of matcha tea and white flowers. Perfect for spring. Bold, with a good sillage and longevity!

Similar to Neroli Outrenoir by Guerlain, but with much less longevity (2h tops!)

Like others have mentioned, I’m picking up on a distinctly grape smencil note

Very faint originality...basically matches every fresh white floral fabric softener aroma (P&G family "spring" fabric softeners). Nothing to do with niche prefumery, sorry.

Pleine Lune by Bastille captivates with a refreshing opening reminiscent of Tubereuse Hédonie by Roger & Gallet. While sharing a similar invigorating start, Pleine Lune distinguishes itself with a delightful evolution, culminating in a harmonious white flower bouquet accented by subtle tea nuances. The rounded base notes conclude this delightful composition.

Starts out interesting then turns very very sweet and eventually you end up with Elnett? It’s uncanny how much this smells like L’Oréal Elnett hairspray! It is nice. The tea notes come through but the weird sugary florals throw me off for a while. The dry down is a bit odd but I’m gonna assume that this just doesn’t work well on me. Might be magnificent on someone else. But truly that musky hairspray scent is pretty prominent.

scent of beautifully fresh citrus tea, neroli and sweet jasmine tuberose. so fresh, so light, so feminine. The evolution was so pretty on my skin, suitable for hot summer weather! if you want jasmine tuberose without being cloying, this one would be an interesting to explore.

I got it for test. It is very light perfume, you can sense green tea, there is some floral mixture lately- but it does not last very long. I used it to mix it with other perfume that is more woody & got interesting sweet combination. but still, very poor sillage.

Slightly powdery, cozy, softly sweet, white floral matcha. You prefer hot matcha lattes. You’re in one of your favourite coats at the trendy spot in town trying out their latest jasmine matcha latte.

kind of feels like walking into a gift shop. I'm also getting the grapey-cardboard note someone else mentioned, although it's not a bad scent. just doesn't feel like me.
