Almond Croissant

Welp looks like a new fave. Was not expecting to adore this sm since gourmands and foody scents are usually not my thing, the name threw me off. However this is a very straightforward nutty/almondy vanilla and it's smooth and sooo gorgeous! Great for layering or wearing by itself. I always imagine women/girlies who wear these types of scents with this vibe have this elegant introspective aura about them and at are so warm and nurturing at the same time. Like a romantic old fashioned autumn kind of love personified. Cozy. Homey. Yellow and bubbly and a love rare and golden like the leaves in the fall<3

I feel like this is vaguely in the family of cheirosa 62 scents. It's sweet, rich and buttery. The dry down is very cinnamon-y to me, and it'a kind of overwhelming.

i wasn't expecting to like this as much as i did! from the bottle, it smells exactly like an almond biscotti, i didn't get much of that bready, flakey croissant. however, when i sprayed it on my skin and let it dry down, i got that delicious almond croissant note!! this is definitely a scent for those who love gourmands because this smells just like a warm almond pastry. during the fall, i will def be pairing this with vanille au beurre by the good scent.. if you have snif's crumb couture it would also pair beautifully with this!!

I was so excited for this since I am obsessed with the wallflower scent, but I am a little disappointed in this. It is so almondy, but in an artificial way. I get more almond than croissant, whereas the wallflower is croissant goodness with a hint of almond. It also just seems like the kind of scent that doesn’t translate well into body care, like it’s only meant as a candle or air freshener

Initial spray is literally delicious almond croissant - or pâte d'amande. It fades quickly and dries down to generic candle smell. Decided not to purchase because of the dry down being too much like a scented candle.

It’s perfect for fall, a welcome reprieve from the customary pumpkin offerings. Fortunately, it is not as “bready” as the wallflower. It’s a like, not a love. Autumn weather might bump it up to a love.
