i first despised this because it only reeked of alcohol to me it's a sweet citrus scent with underlying floral notes definitely meant for the day and warm weather like another review mentioned, it doesn't come off as a festive fragrance at all despite being advertised as one

Be Joyful was the first spray from B&BW that I ever used up to completion, and it's due to the fact that it's performance was so poor, I reapplied incessantly. Still, it's a great easygoing scent and I agree that it can be worn whenever (I mention this in my review of the older entry). I had the older version, and my daughters have the newer (which still isn't even current, as far as I'm aware). I don't believe that it's been reformulated ever. It's nice for children and isn't too serious or perfumey. The orange is most noticeable, and it has a sweet tone without being cloying. It's generically "white floral" in the heart, but I wish it had more jasmine because it might smell a little more complete and it would surely last longer. This has always felt a little unfinished, and it needs more base. It's fun and uplifting, very aptly named. Summer is actually my favorite time for this 🍊 🌞

Be Joyful is a sweet fresh citrus through and through. At first a sparkling sweet citrus like a juice then becomes more creamy like an orange crème brûlée.however it’s too simple (I don’t get the jasmine) and too weak in performance. There’s nothing outstanding or Christmasy about it but it’s pleasing overall.

this is legit my favorite bath and body works scent ever. it doesn't seem very festive to me so it can be worn whenever
