Black Raspberry Vanilla

🫧 i love this body mist! I am almost out which I'm kinda sad about lol but I am kinda glad I am finishing it because I let it sit in the back of my perfume collection collecting dust and forgetting how good it is. 🫧 it smells like the name. raspberry and vanilla. it's sweet and has a tartness to it. i pair it with my butterfly body lotion and I smell like raspberry and vanilla heaven. it smells like a raspberry tart. this body mist also lasts a pretty long time. i wore it at school today and it lasted from at least 7 to 1, so about six hours. 🫧 this is so good, I kinda hope Bath and Body Works brings it back. i'm pretty sure it's discontinued for people asking, but Butterfly might be a new name, and look for it just the same smell. 🫧 i love this! i hope bath and body works brings it back 🤞🏾

Was this discontinued? This was one of the best scents by Bath and Body. It smelled just like it's name: Black Raspberry and Vanilla.

I'm not positive as to why this is listed in the database twice. Did B&BW reformulate this? I have some shower gel in this scent, and it smells pretty close to how it was in childhood, if not the same (possibly a bit lighter, like many of their classics). It's a yummy, ice-creamy, sweetly accurate black raspberry (different than raspberry OR blackberry, there are BLACK raspberries where I live) fragrance, and a true crowd-pleaser. God help the person who doesn't like this...it's one of those scents I'd be as bold as to claim is virtually impossible to dislike. This could be worn in any season as it's not too rich, but there is some mellow warmth that adds a bit of depth to this. Really though, it's fairly simple and casual. I'd give this as a gift for kids or adults alike. I've loved this since I was 11 or 12, and even though I don't currently own the lotion or mist, it's a staple in the back of my mind. I enjoy washing my hair with this and layering on similar things (think Jimmy Choo Fever, or Flowerbomb Midnight...etc.). An old'n, but a good'n! 🖤

I bought the 2021 version of this. I thought it was a safe buy considering it's just raspberries and vanilla, which I like. There's a very sour and almost bitter note when you first spray and it takes a while for that particular note to go away. Some of the sourness comes from the raspberries/blackberries but I finally figured out what the other part of that note is - alcohol, not alcohol denat, but alcohol as in beer or wine. It basically smells like an alcoholic's breath combined with vanilla. I don't want to walk around smelling like beer or wine. So this red wine note was a definite deal breaker for me. The dry down is not SO bad - it's more of a soft slightly-fruity vanilla sandalwood... unfortunately it takes a long time (8+ hours) to get to to the dry down and by then you can barely smell it. So it didn't seem worth it to me to keep it. I returned it and got my $4 back. It's a shame because I do love raspberries and vanilla and it would have been such a versatile, layerable scent. Without the wine note I would've kept it. Also it would've been helpful to put the red wine note on the bottle because then I wouldn't have even bothered to try it.

I thought that this would be a safe choice. I remember loving their Sun-Ripened Raspberry as a teenager. I also adored the Black Raspberry Vanilla hand soap that Softsoap used to make. I’m used to raspberry being bright and fruity. This is a deep berry flavor that reminds me more of a compote made with overripe berries. I do notice the wine notes, which do not enhance the raspberry. If this were a dessert, I would not eat it. It reminds me of Flowerbomb which I also dislike. Too many of B&B’s berry scents use that deep, saccharine berry fragrance now. I should really stop buying them.

This sounds like it could be a safe blind buy but it's not. I don't know if it's the vanilla orchid or the sandalwood but this smells so incredibly bitter for some reason, like bitter citrus, blackberries and burnt sandalwood. I don't detect any vanilla or raspberries at all, and to my nose this simply smells like window cleaner. I really wanted to like this 🙁

You can smell of bubble gum. I'm using it as a toilet spray.

This was way too sweet for my liking and it didn’t last long on my skin.

This is the juiciest smell ever! If you are from Australia this smells exactly like those blackcurrent lollies but imagine some vanilla mixed in
