Blush Cardigan

Sweet, fruity, violet, powdery, warm, amber, vanilla, luminous, feminine, sensual, flirty, , charming, whimsical, dreamy, delightful, delicate, uplifting, alluring, tempting, addictive, inviting, cozy, comforting This is just oh so very pretty! On me this opens with a burst of sweet raspberry with just the right amount of tartness intertwined with sweetly floral sugar dipped violet. The dry down really shines because the scent becomes more powdery as the sensual and powdery vanilla comes through along with some warm golden amber to join the sweet raspberry and sugar dipped violet. This is such a versatile scent that’s super delightful, charming, and whimsical, while also being warm, cozy, and comforting. I do find this to be somewhat reminiscent of GdT Celeste (they both share violet, raspberry, and vanilla), Ralph Lauren Beyond Romance, BBW Butterfly, and Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau So Sweet. None of them are anything close to a dupe, but there are similarities between them to greater, or lesser degrees. To me this feels very feminine, and suitable for women of any age. I actually think this works well year round because it’s fruity, powdery, and delicate enough for warmer weather, yet sweet, warm, and cozy enough for colder weather. I'm still feeling this one out. The notes spoke to me hard. Raspberry? Sign me up! Amber? Yes, please! Sugar? Love it. Violet? Unsure, but down to test. I blind bought this during winter SAS. First test and initially smelled a bit like Robitussin. Where is this artificial cherry note coming from? Others have said it smells like Dr Pepper, which I think smells exactly like Robitussin, so that checks out. Once it settles on my skin it's sweet and ambery and a little fruity and I dig it. I will say, it does NOT last. Def sticks more to my clothes, but on skin it's a pretty short duration. ETA: The more I wear this, the more I like it. It's a craveable scent. I still hate the opening, but once it settles it's light and airy and warm and just gorgeous. Still standing by the lack of longevity, although when I overspray it's a little bit better.

It's like if you took Dr. Pepper but slightly dialed down the carbonation and added a little bit of cream – but somehow made it pretty. That bit of effervescence allows it be sweet without being too dense or cloying in the heat. It's fizzy, perfectly fruity and sweet, lightly creamy, just a dash powdery.. a love at first sniff. I'm usually picky and hard to impress when it comes to Bath & Body Works fragrances as I find many of their scents a little flat and unremarkable but this is definitely one of the good ones.

At first sniff I immediately get softer version of the discontinued Kenzo l'Elixir, it's crazy how similar they are (90%). Blush cardigan you get more of a sugary raspberry with a touch of amber whereas with Kenzo you get a potent powdery raspberry and orange blossom mix. On my skin it performs like a EDT and last for more than 5 hours which is really good for a body mist. If you pair it with the matching lotion you will be able to improve longevity and projection.

So lovely. Always thought this had a similarity to Prada Candy (because of the amber note) and for that reason have appreciated it in my scent wardrobe. Today I finished off my last drops & layered with Compound 108 body oil, BS Midnight Fantasy/Cloud Nine (during the day) and Midnight Fantasy/Dark Kiss at night. It was so delightful. I’ll likely repurchase for future raspberry layering combos. ✨

I kept overlooking this when I went in the store I was caught up in the hype of Wrapped in Vanilla, (which isn’t anything to be excited for all it is is Pink Chiffon with some kind of slight bakery note) anyways I smelled it and I love it! It’s such a great fragrance love the mix of raspberry and amber. Christmas Cookies is number 1 for me but this is top 5 winter scent worthy!

she is so pretty, very sweet, very raspberry. i am so so so sad she is a temporary scent. the only issue i have with her is that she is so close to the skin, she really doesn't project that much, which is great when you're around lots of people, its a great perfume to avoid headaches for others, but I love her so much.

sweet and soft!! i like how its quite powdery yet fizzy, and doesn't give that specific sharp syrupy synthetic fruitiness in lots of bbw stuff. such a natural musk that feels a bit creamy. i think its the only really memorable bbw fragrance i see myself reaching for

One of my favorite fine fragrance mists of all time. This is everything I could ask for in a berry fragrance. The raspberry is sweet and the amber adds depth and warmth. Great all year round but especially on those cozy Winter or Fall nights.

I LOVE THIS SCENT. It's so perfect, it's sweet but not overpowering, and it lasts long. I was so sad when I ran out, but I'm planning to buy more. I'm in LOVE. I need more scents like this tbh. Anyway, a 10/10, never can go wrong with her.

This smells really pretty . I was looking for a raspberry fragrance and this one is perfect , The raspberry is sweet not sour ( thank god lol) , it projects and it smells like a high quality feminine perfume to me .

I only have the body cream and body wash but I did smell the tester of the body mist. It’s so good. It smells very yummy, I love the raspberry in it.

My favorite bbw fragrance... it smells like dr pepper in the best way. It’s sweet and delicious. I can smell this on myself hours after applying.

Very feminine and pretty! Though it doesn't last very long unfortunately...

Hmm... where do I start!? So when I first smelled this in the store, I thought it smelled pretty good. I am a big fan of berry scents so I thought "why not?" Well, on my skin, the violet is really strong on this that it overpowers the sweet raspberries! But all I smell is raspberry when spraying in the air and inside the cap. I don't get a whole lot of amber either. Then, I was thinking, "this smells so familiar!" I thought it reminded me of a crisp popsicle until I proceeded to smell my Cetaphil Gentle Face Cleanser and said "BINGO!" This smells just like that with raspberries. Not a bad scent, I just don't want to be smelling like Cetaphil lol. I just wish the raspberry was slightly sweeter and stronger, the violet was toned down, and that the amber projected a bit more, then I'd love it a lot more. I would have to use this when I want something light for the night/day or if I'm not in the mood for my traditional gourmands. This is not my favorite, but not the worst I've tried. I'll be layering with other fruity scents. I'd have to agree with some people that it does smell like cough syrup in a way. If you really like the combo of raspberries and violet, this fragrance is for you! Edit: I have to say that I think the body cream and body wash smells a whole lot better. They're sweeter and the raspberry is more prominent. The sweetness of the raspberry reminds me sweetness of the strawberry from Strawberry Poundcake. I still don't know how I feel about the mist, though. I'm getting this off-putting grassy/stem-like note and it's super hard for me to get with.

to make things very clear about the bias of my review— fruity scents are not my genre. i prefer “childish”, photorealistic gourmands and sweet vanillas in my perfumes. however, this is a scent i have thought about repurchasing more than once, not to wear, but to smell. on impact, this perfume smells IDENTICAL to dr. pepper!! seriously! like i just opened a lukewarm can of the stuff. for some reason the scent notes and the raspberry added a “carbonated”, sparkling note. on the dry down, you get an ambery, musky fruit smell that i personally enjoy—but at this point, from far away it smells a bit like cough syrup and cream soda mixed. this smell might be the raspberry note disappearing. note that this is a personal observation and doesn’t make the scent unenjoyable. for fruit and soda lovers out there, this is a scent i’d recommend! this dries down best on clothes and not skin, especially, as the name suggests, on fresh cotton or a sweater/cardigan. for this reason, i’d recommend it for fall and winter weathers. too bad they discontinued it—hope it’ll be back soon. on a final note, not my cup of tea, but it would work for someone else! this would layer best with berry-leaning EDPs and cashmeran notes. you could get away with layering this with the burberry her elixir for a more sexy, mature combo.

Would be absolutely wonderful if it lasted longer! It’s a beautiful smell and very cozy, but this lasts only about 15-30 minutes max.

Smells like a cream soda Dr. Pepper with a hint of amber. Wish it projected a little more, though.
