Boardwalk Marshmallow Clouds

Sweet, sugary, fluffy, airy, powdery, creamy, warm, floral, woody, feminine, flirty, playful, charming, whimsical, dreamy, cheerful, uplifting, lighthearted, yummy, tempting, addictive, cozy, comforting This is such a pretty, fluffy, and sweet vanilla marshmallow scent. I also get whiffs of the airy whipped cream, and creamy meringue, with a subtle magnolia scent, and the slightly creamy and woody scent of sandalwood. This is fairly linear, but I do notice the sandalwood more prominently further into the dry down. On me the scent is soft and airy with a bit of warmth to it. It’s sweet, but not too sweet because the sandalwood really helps to balance it out. It’s pretty, flirty, and playful, so it feels very feminine to me. I think this works well year round because it’s fluffy and soft enough for the warmer weather, but also sweet and warm enough for the colder weather. It’s perfect for casual occasions as well as for work or school. It seems to be a pretty big crowd pleaser too. I’ve already gotten several compliments on it in just the couple weeks that I’ve had it. I just had to get this one because I adore marshmallow scents! I managed to get ahold of one reasonably from someone second hand, and I absolutely love it! Surprisingly this reminds me somewhat of a really old B&BW holiday scent called Toasted Hazelnut. I’m not sure why, but there’s something similar about them. I can’t find the notes to compare, but Boardwalk Marshmallow Clouds is more light, fluffy, and soft, while Toasted Hazelnut is richer and has more depth as well as a nutty scent. I found the body mist version of this scent disappointingly light and fleeting. Yes, even for a body mist. However the shea cream is a different story. It’s so sweet, creamy and fluffy it’s basically like rubbing vanilla marshmallow fluff all over without the stickiness. The scent is strong, long lasting and pretty well done. It’s 100% gourmand without the plastic or musk found in other Bath & Body Works vanillas (like Warm Vanilla Sugar or the recent version of Vanilla Bean Noel). If you’re Vanilla or marshmallow crazed, it might be worth tracking down the shea cream version of this scent (not the lotion or the mist). Just try to make sure you’re not buying a product that’s too too old. As this cream ages it begins to turn a bold yellow, which doesn’t affect the scent but it is a little off putting and it can discolor light colored clothing.

YES ♥. If it were only stronger & lasted longer. The lotion w/ shea butter is even better. Why do they always discontinue the best scents? It is fairly linear, but I like smelling like a puff of marshmallow clouds. I am going to try to mix it with some Demeter Marshmallow to try and amp up the sillage & longevity. Update: Al Rehab "Soft" is a very similiar scent to this one & very inexpensive.

Bought this back in summer 2018 and I still have the bottle although there is only a little left. The alcohol smell is stronger since it is older but I fell in love with it back then and it's still my favorite to this day. It's very comforting for me personally and it's sweet and slightly floral and the sandalwood complements the sweeter notes nicely. I really hope they release it again !

I just want to share my experience with this. I received this when it was 60 degrees Fahrenheit and below- the fragrance was delightful but very light with no depth. Today at 75 degrees Fahrenheit it’s stronger more sultry and lots more depth. I looovveee this in warmer weather!!!!

I just noticed that this smells like M.M cry baby just this is stronger sweeter and minus the strawberry. I prefer this, although I wouldn’t mind having both just cuz I’m fragrance greedy.

Smells like marshmallow with floral added. Remove the floral & this would be 10/10!!

Bring it back asap. I’ve tried replacing... and dupes... I need the lotion back!

The notes look delicious, I'm so looking for milky sweet scents like this, but you really have to douse yourself in it to pick anything up at all. Maybe I got a bad bottle, but it's a bit odd, the opening smells like burnt, almost sharp caramel aroma and that note is not even in there, maybe that's supposed to be meringue? It settles to something that could be vaguely marshmallowish.. but completely different to the cotton soft marshmallow note in Ari Moonlight, reminds me of Malizia BonBons Milkshake, less intense. Update: well, it seems that you really need to go outside to sense the fluffyness of this scent, then all the sudden it feels like walking in a soft milky cloud. I layered Moonlight over it and had a walk with my love under the Scorpio full moon and the surrounding white spring flowers mixed with the whipped vanilla cream cloud around me to the most amazing tender scent. Wish I could bottle that one up. <3

This scent is very hard to find its a one of a kind although they have several scents that are similar. They are not a complete match. Since I cant find this scent I mix coconut mint drop and sunset glow. Its the closest I can get but this is a succulent marshmallow vanilla thats not to strong and is just right. It doesn't last to long about an hour but it is similar to vanilla bean Noel, beach nights marshmallow, vanilla raimbow sprinkles and Confetti cake pop. So it's a vanilla but the marshmallow gives it a cozy sexy twist. I don't get any floral scent. I get the soft sandleqood the meringue and the whipped all those combine and make a delicious delectable scent.. not so much gourmet at all.. i get many compliments. If u xant afford it u xan bye one of the listed above until prices go back down or do the mix like i do..Hope they bring this back soon.

This is a wonderful light marshmallow scent... when i could smell it. I don't know what happened, but whenever I spray it now, I just smell alcohol. To even get a slight whiff of the marshmallow, I have to do some nose gymnastics and angle my wrist to the wind in a particular way. I wonder if the formula just did not hold up since I bought it back in 2018 or my nose is just not picking it up. It's nice when I can smell it, but I'm just gonna pass my bottle along to someone who can get some use out of it. I do hope B&BW improves the formula so it has a longer shelf life and releases it again because I do love a light and airy marshmallow scent.

Update: I'm finding this doesn’t last as long on my skin as previous scents I’ve bought from Bath and Bodyworks. I have to say that I agree with others that they aren’t what they used to be, but this fluffy vanilla is nice for the most casual of times of relaxation.

I was looking for a cozy vanilla fragrance and this is what I was looking for. The sandalwood keeps it from being too sweet on me and the magnolia in the dry down is nice. This is what I want in a warm weather vanilla. It gets my thumbs up!

Boardwalk Marshmallow Clouds is a very light fragrance imo. Sweet and warm, yes, but so light you really have to keep sniffing to pick up the notes. I do like it, however. It's nice when you want that subtly.

Bodycology Cozy Fireside S'more smells exactly like this. If you can't find BMC then just buy that because they are identical and Bodycology is cheaper.

I finally got my hands on this and it's completely different to the dupe suggestions. I get no whipped cream. To my nose it's super heavy on the meringue with the initial spray then it settles down to a nice fluffy warm marshmallow scent. I also get a tiny bit of floral from the magnolia. I would say this is perfect for spring time and wonderful for layering. 7/10

Other reviewers mentioned this being a floral perfume and not a gourmand, which is spot on! It is quite fresh and vintage as well, which I feel the notes don’t reflect. The magnolia completely dominates, which is such a shame

Super airy, pretty and feminine but in a cute way (but not childish or anything). I love it! Btw this is NOT gourmand, it's floral, but I think people who dislike floral perfumes will still like this. It's actually a weird combination because it's floral but also has vanilla and marshmallows, like wtf? But yea still more floral than anything imo. It does NOT smell like M.M. Crybaby like some people claim LOL wtf, that one smelled like antibacterial floor cleaner. It also does NOT smell like B&BW Cotton Candy Clouds or Bodycology Cozy Fireside S'more lol people will say anything on this website

I got this for 6 dollars on a sale recently and I’m really loving it. My boyfriend says I smelled delicious and multiple people commented on how good I smelled. I layered the fragrance mist over the body cream. It’s basically a sweet, marshmallow sugar cookie scent, but not sickly sweet, just the right amount for day use and getting ready for Fall. I’m actually pleased with the longevity this has on me personally, it lasts for hours. Try and get this while it’s on sale, I think most frag heads would enjoy this one. Get the cream and layer!

A perfect marshmallow scent; too bad it doesn't last very long on the skin. I wish they had made an EDP or EDT for this. It's warm and cozy without any cloying sweetness. The body cream is great too. Just a note, the cream contains vanillin, which can cause white creams/lotions to take on a yellowish hue. It doesn't impact the quality or scent at all, so don't be put off if you buy this from a reseller and see that the product is yellowish.

This is my all time favorite scent. I will go out of my way and pay extra to buy this, especially the Shea body cream. I’m a huge fan of marshmallow scents and this is by far the most marshmallow-y. It’s also sweet without being too sweet. I get a ton of compliments from women and men alike when I wear this every single time. I hope I’m always able to find it.

So I got this body mist in 2018 and still have the same bottle (almost full). I barely even used it, because to me this just smells like a cheap marshmallow body mist, plus the alcohol smell in it is STRONG. I don’t know if it’s because mine is just old, or just doesn’t smell good on my skin but I just never liked it that much.

Boardwalk Marshmallow Clouds, to my nose, smells like a lighter version of American Eagle Cloud Kiss, KKW Kimoji Hearts BAE, Philosophy Fresh Cream, Malizia Bon Bons Milk Cake. It is a beautiful, cozy combination of vanilla and marshmallow with a synthetic plastic note. It is not too sweet either.

Cotton candy bomb. Remind me so much of pink sugar but much weaker.
