Brightest Bloom

I love this so much! Carnation is one of my favorite fragrances and this has plenty of carnation. I usually avoid LOV because some Lily of the Valley fragrances bother me but this one doesn't. So many reviews say it smells like Daisy or Daisy Eau So Fresh, but it does not! I hate Daisy and all its flankers, and I don't like the way actual daisies smell either. After seeing those reviews I just had to compare the notes in Brightest Bloom to other perfumes I've smelled to see what a better comparison would be, so I used the search by notes / my shelves feature of the database here and these are the other perfumes I like that all have carnation, LOV, jasmine, and cedar notes: Sun Moon Stars by Karl Lagerfeld, Opium YSL (the original 1977 one, which was one of the 2 fragrances I wore in high school; it obviously also has amber which Brightest Bloom does not have), Fleurs de Rocaille by Caron (Fleurs with the s, the 1934 formula, not the modern Fleur one), Fleurs d'Ombre Bleue by Jean Charles Broussard, and Gucci No 1 Parfum by Gucci. Take the cedar note off and the list expands to include Cinnabar by Estee Lauder (the other fragrance I wore in high school.) Haha no wonder I love this so much! It's a floral version of my favorite teenage amber perfumes. And of course the most obvious carnation fragrance of all time is L'Heure Bleue, which is one of my top 5 faves. Carnation was featured more often in vintage fragrances than in modern ones. That's why it is so special to find a carnation forward modern fragrance that has all the accompanying products: the lotions, the soaps, the shampoo and so on. If by chance I managed to find a vintage lotion the same age as some of my vintage perfumes I couldn't use it, it would have gone bad by now. Brightest Bloom is a treasure! I'm not out of it yet because I bought backups for my backups but I still hope they bring it back! For seasonality, I know most people are going to consider a floral to be a spring fragrance but carnation is the birthstone flower of January and my mom and I used to buy ourselves a bouquet of carnations every year for our January birthdays so to me carnation fragrances are winter fragrances. To me carnation is nostalgic as well as beautiful and I love this so much, and I've said that about exactly one other perfume ever, and it was L'Heure Bleue.

The notes are Lily of the valley, jasmine sambac, garden carnations & fresh cedar wood. This is a beautiful mixture of pretty florals. Very sweet, a bit soapy but more of an air freshener like floral. It has a fruity fizzy shampoo like sweetness to it at the initial stage along with the florals. Then it sets onto the skin a little & turns into a creamy floral sweetness. It's heavy on the florals so people with sensitive noses might find this slightly headache inducing. The dry down is magical to me. It turns balmy, creamy woods like. I was scared of the cedar wood in this fragrance but surprisingly it adds just the right amount of creamy touch that this fragrance needs otherwise it would have turned out to be a sharp fresh cut florals which i am not into. I would summarise this fragrance as a creamy, balmy floral. It's very creamy, very woodsy on the dry down. You have to like florals with a creamy woody touch to enjoy this fragrance. It's not a juvenile or fresh sweet uplifting floral, it's much more mature than that. A very spring appropriate scent. You can wear it as a casual day fragrance as well. It's very feminine & classy so you can wear it the day time wherever you want. This is pretty, pious femininity in a bottle. The projection is noticeable in the air. The longevity is extremely good. Given how bnb's new releases all have poor longevity these days but surprisingly this turned out to be a beast mode on my skin. It lasts for 5/6 hours on my skin without any reapplication. I am extremely impressed with this scent, not only the packaging is stunning, but the fragrance is stunning as well. I might need to use the shampoo & conditioner of this range, omg i want my hair to smell like this 🩷

This is drop dead gorgeous. I can't get enough of it. It's not the typical scent that you usually smell at bath & body works. It's so green, fresh and what's the word I'm looking for...balmy? It smells like a flower garden in the forest. It smells like what Snow White would wear when singing to the animals. This isn't even my favorite type of fragrance but there is something so hypnotic about it and I have been wearing it since I brought it home. wish I would have grabbed the body cream. I want the whole collection. If this is what Daisy smells like then I must have Daisy. This is the kind of floral that actually smells like fresh cut flowers. I used to have a ffm called May Bouquet when I was a kid and this has that same type of vibe. This is the most cottage core of the bath and body scents. The flowers are so pronounced that they almost smell sort of fruity. It's kind of tangy, a little woody, kind of shampooey (in a good way). It smells like flowers in the rain. The mist lasts a super long time on my clothes and skin. It's perfect. This gives me clean girl vibes and I hate the clean girl trend but I know some girlies on here are into that, so this would definitely fit your aesthetic. It also gives me whimsical, fairycore, witchy vibes which is more of my thing so a lot of different people would enjoy this. I usually go for gourmands and moody types but this has its own little mysterious allure going on that is irresistible. They need to make this permanent! They took my Luminous away and I'm still upset about it.

I love this product! I bought all the products to Brightest Bloom. The EDP version does not perform great if worn alone. When layered with the body cream and FFM, it lasted 4-5 hours. I even woke up to the lingering scent, which is rare since I sleep with perfumes every night. You are pleasantly aware of the scent bubble lingering around you when wearing this. Note* I own & compared all the fragrances that will be mentioned - with the help of my family. After smelling them side by side, we all agreed that it immediately reminded us of Chanel Chance Eau Tendre, which happens to be one of our favorite fragrances. However, my daughter used Marc Jacobs Daisy this morning, and it smelled just like it - a younger sister to Chance Eau Tendre but a twin to Daisy. Comparing Brightest Bloom to Pink Lily and Bamboo. BB is more crisp, while Pink Lily is more of a soft floral, aquatic fragrance to my nose. In short, I do not think this is a rebottled fragrance.

Brightest Bloom is a beautiful carnation Lilly white floral with some noticeable cedar. If you are familiar with BBW Pink Lily Bamboo (a banger of a floral fragrance, major nose boner gorgeous), Brightest Bloom is similar to that but less woody. Brightest Bloom is more “white” than “Hello Beautiful.” It lacks the fruity apple note in “White Jasmine.” I have having an olfactory smellgasm on Brightest Bloom. I have the shampoo, conditioner, body butter, and spray. I will be purchasing every form: lotion, cream, perfume, body wash at the next sale. I got the items I have for $5.95. I know online it gets compared to other more expensive perfumes. I don’t see the point in buying those more expensive perfumes; the body butter and spray are plenty strong. This is elegant and for any occasion: professional, casual, formal.

This is almost a 1:1 dupe for Daisy by Marc Jacobs. A simple yet beautiful bouquet of fresh white florals with jasmine being the forefront flower. There's something I can't quite pin that doesn't make this an exact dupe for Daisy...I think it's because Daisy is slightly more green, but to be completely honest that's just my best guess. Definitely a feminine and somewhat mature fragrance, but is definitely versatile and inoffensive enough for daily wear. Brightest Bloom is definitely one of my favorite fragrances despite it not being anything particularly innovative. It lasts quite a while on the skin as well, ~6 hours.

I loooove layering this with musky-fruity perfumes. I can overspray this to give some longevity and a little extra oomph. This did not feel like a BBW fragrance to me, which I typically only sleep in or wear for gym runs. It didn’t have any of their “cheaper” DNA call-outs. This is such a nice, crispy, watery floral fragrance. Hoping so hard they bring it back this summer! I came here to fine the “remind me of section” and thought to leave a review. So glad for the carnation recommendations below in another review, I believe that’s the note I love in this perfume as well.

When I first heard that is pretty similar to Marc Jacobs eau So Fresh, I knew I had to have it. I myself never had Marc Jacobs eau So Fresh, but smelled it in Macy's years ago. I always remembered the fragrance as a Fresh floral, fruity, bright and so pretty. I had purchased Brightest Bloom and it reminded me first spray of that perfume. Nonetheless, it's a pretty smelling perfume, floral, refreshing, perfect scent to wear out the shower and it's longevity is really good !! Lasts pretty long on clothing.

I love it, it smells so good 🥹 it's my favorite thing from Bath and Body Worksss. Ever since I smelled it I've been looking to find things like it that smell like the same color cuz it's that good in my opinion. It smells like my favorite color, yellow like #ffeb00. It's the best of the best of the best of the best of the best. It's odd, I don't like woody or musky stuff but this doesn't smell like wood despite having it. It smells like sweet flowers. I like it.

This has become my signature scent. I layer all the products from shampoo & conditioner, body wash, lotion to body mist & edp. My skin doesn’t hold scent very well, and this lasts all day on me. I love the smell, not offensive at all. Using just the body mist, I don’t think it will last all day or project very much, but if you layer everything, you will smell amazing for the entire day.

Definitlely matches Marc Jacobs Daisy/Daisy Eau So Fresh and Victoria's Secret First Love. Eau So Fresh was my favorite Daisy before Wild, and the opening of Brightest Bloom reminds me so much of the fresh bright pear opening in Eau So Fresh. I know it's not listed, but that pear is present, fresh, crisp and green. Love this one and will be buying a back up.

Not for summer. I LOVE this in winter and spring, when it gives off a wonderful carnation scent. I just tried it on a summer afternoon and I'm getting a grassy lily of the valley note instead, and I don't like it. I'm setting this aside for my January carnation binge (carnation being the birthstone flower of January.)

if you're poor like me and cant afford the chanel chance just yet, im begging you to buy this! the best scent bbw has come out with recently . im a fresh floral girly so this felt like it was made for me :) anyways just need to get some more money to get the chanel chance so i can finally layer this with that

Fresh and tangy floral. I will still stand by saying this is literally the Pink Lily Bamboo rebottled and rebranded. Only bought it for that reason. If not, this resembles it incredibly. Only difference I noticed is the EDP is more floral than the body spray.

This is Marc Jacobs Daisy in a body spray. The initial spray is heavy on the Lily of the Valley and a sweetness that smells like a strawberry. The dry down is little more woody and still has the sweetness and Lily from the initial spray.

It’s pretty. Pretty and fresh. I can’t ding it on anything. It’s a feminine and girly smell without being juvenile. I usually err away from florals, but this is gorgeous. A nice, clean, safe-bet kind of scent!

It's a fragrance mist that carries the scent in a more full-bodied way, like an EDP. Not sure how they did that, but I'm impressed. They do have an EDP and I'm interested to find out how it compares to this.

Love it- can't get enough. Fresh, happy, feminine, subtle -great for everyday. She's a friendly girl next door, not too loud but quietly smiling.

I have this body lotion. It is a must have. Floral, light, spring time fragrance.

This is THE dupe for Flower Market by Replica. Love it.

This was the fragrant mist that stood out while testing the new scents at BBW. A soft floral bouquet - feminine and the most natural of the group with no chemical after-scent. I left the store with the body cream and mist to wear on days that I didn't want to wear perfume; but still wanted to feel scented. It didn't occur to me until I was home, that there was a similarity to CHANEL CHANCE TENDRE. I have the CHANEL EDP and body cream and love both - so no wonder I liked this. BRIGHTEST BLOOM is a very soft version with only a 1 to 2 hour longevity, but there is a resemblance. This would be a great affordable segue scent group to see if you really liked and needed the CHANEL in your life. There is a BRIGHTEST BLOOM EDP which I didn't test, but if it's similar would probably add performance. The body mist is sold in a small 2.5 fl. oz. size to carry to freshen the fragrance at work. A nice addition by BBW.

This smells almost exactly like Bombshell from Victoria secret. I sprayed bombshell on myself and walked in BBW and sprayed the sample paper and was shocked how close they are. I have Daisy eau so fresh and can see why people may think they smell similar. But Daisy is much sweeter and has a powdery scent to it. If you want a Bombshell dupe- this is for you!

This is a great body spray to layer with Chanel Chance Eau Tendre. They are very similar to each other, but Chanel sticks around longer and is more refined. I mainly use body sprays for layering purposes and this is a nice option for the floral-fruity perfumes. I like that it is fresh florals and not overly sweet.

smells EXACTLY like marc jacobs daisy to me. and thats not a bad thing! daisy is one of my faves. i won't be buying this, but only because i already have daisy. def a great more affordable dupe plus they have the lotions and stuff :)

I will be honest that I am not usually a floral girl.. but this one is surprisingly fresh and I really like it! I layered it with Dermalactives Energizing Body Lotion and it is a really great combo.

Easily the greenest and most fresh floral I’ve seen from B&BW. Definitely not for everyone, but perfect for green floral lovers, and perfect for overcast and rainy spring days!

Smells similar to peace, love juicy couture...which has a grass note...therefore imagine being on a bright green field in spring...

You stepped into your backyard and you admire its minimalistic aesthetic. The grass is green and well kept, the fence is made of well trimmed bushes. You only have one jasmine plant in the far corner and some daisies and tagets/ marigolds growing here and there giving minimal pops of color and odor. Brightest Bloom smells like that garden; of fresh green herbal florals. I don’t get any heady white florals, and no clove like carnations. Performance is on the weaker side I agree it would layer nicely with Mark Jacob’s Daisy. Overall, I found it a bit disappointing as I was expecting more white flowers. I didn’t get much Bloom nor was it of the Brightest kind.

Personally, I'm not much of a floral girl, so this wasn't really it. The floral notes feel quite strong and straightforward, and they can come across a little sharp at times. To me, it leans more toward a classic floral profile rather than something unique or sweet. If you love fragrances that smell like real flowers in a grassy field, I think there's a good chance you'll really like this one. It's just not the type of floral I usually reach for.

I'm not a huge fan of this one although I do own it. I ordered it online without knowing it smells like Daisy by Marc Jacobs. It definitely smells almost exactly like it, so it you like Daisy, you'll like this. I think this smells a lot more like Daisy than it does Chance Eau Tendre. I wish it smelled more like Chance Eau Tendre because I like that scent much more than Daisy.

I bought this as well as a couple others to smell and test out, it was good, it wasn't quite what I was looking for so I sent it back though. It was a very clean (like soap), sweet (like sugar), floral (almost slight fruity to the floral) kind of smell. Smelled like it would make a good candle or soap, not quite what I like in a perfume type smell ^_^ but good.

This opens with a shampoo-y lily of the valley. It's clean and fresh. Later i get other nondescript florals, maybe a non-realistic jasmine (?) and cedar. i get zero carnation here, so i am surprised it's voted so highly. there is nothing spicy whatsoever. It's nice but not really my cup of tea. I was hoping for more carnation!

Too floral/planty to me, I duno it's like smelling a hybrid of grass flowers that are non descript...I would've liked it to be a bit clearer to like it, but it's a "real" smell so I'll give it that. I feel like daisy wild is the "green" kinda scent I like it has a fantasy sweetnesd to it...the too real ones not my thing.

Bloom. What? I'm deceived. This and Dressed in White piqued my interest. I expected floral, powdery notes with a hint of sweetness. This is straight up fruity on me.

Brightest Bloom makes me feel like I just stepped into a dreamy 2000s perfume ad-think flowy sundresses, dewy skin, and a carefree, sunny vibe. It’s light, easy to wear, and gives me that effortlessly pretty, just-got-back-from-a-picnic energy. If you love Daisy Fresh but want a budget-friendly option, this one is a no-brainer; they're practically identical. Layer your Daisy with Brightest Bloom's cream or cleanser, and you'll literally smell like it the entire day.

Brightest Bloom is such a cheerful and uplifting fragrance that belies its notes! Having said that, I really don’t think it’s a dead ringer for that Chanel but it does possess that same zingy feeling. It’s a bit like comparing a cubic zirconium with a diamond! They are both bright, sparkling and lovely but one is synthetic and the other is the real thing. This is not a criticism of this lovely and very reasonably priced fragrance, not at all! Given the inflated prices for so many designer and niche brands, it’s refreshing to know you can still get a fragrance that is a beautiful bang for a your buck!

Brightest Bloom is an intense floral scent that immediately gives off a just-showered freshness. It reminds me a bit of a deodorant – not in a bad way, but in that clean, refreshing sense. It has that crisp, out-of-the-shower vibe that feels very uplifting. Since it's quite floral, it might not be for everyone, but I personally really enjoyed it. If you like clean, fresh florals, this could be a great pick.

When I sampled this in the store I bought it right away. Funny, but it smelled so unique at the time. It is very much like Daisy. I don't get carnation at all. I get a clear, citrusy, grassy, cool floral. Unfortunately it has the same freezer burn smell that all my Daisy dupes have. I really wish BBW would release a beautiful spicy carnation scent.

Smells like Sand + Fog Violet Sandalwood / Pillow Talk which in turn is a dupe for Byredo Mojave Ghost. It is a pretty floral but on me turned very powdery, A floral powder but still powder. Powder scents don't sit well with my chemistry and it became very cloying. However, I love this on other people!!

I remember a while ago I smelled this on a classmate and asked if she was wearing Marc Jacobs Daisy. I used to wear Daisy almost everyday years ago, so I'm pretty familiar with it. She checked the name of it & this what she was wearing. I would say it's a great dupe for Daisy!

I don’t get any Chanel from this one, I get Daisy by Marc Jacob’s EDP. I automatically thought it was a dupe for it at first sniff. You want to smell like Daisy at a fraction of a price. Well Bloom is for you! It’s summery, floral and fresh.

I love it 😍 it’s very very green smelling though, quite like if you sniff the stems of fresh flowers, but amplified. It reminded me of candied violet sorbet at first, without the blackberry note.

Brightest Bloom by Bath and Body Works smells almost identical to Ellis Brooklyn’s Florist! It’s perfect for layering together! Seriously! Smell them both and tell me they don’t smell the same!

This smells exactly like chanels chance eau tendre, just watered down. Versatile layering fragrance (can pretty much pair with any floral based perfume). one of the best bbw scents!!

Definitely a dupe for Daisy Eau So Fresh. I have DESF and they smell identical.
