Christmas Cookies

Almond cookie heaven! The Bath and Body Works scents “Snickerdoodle” and “Coconut Cream Pie” are very similar but Christmas cookies is nuttier and more almond. I wear this year round, even in summer! This is a casual but sexy scent with musk. This one is one my husband really loves and other men have politely complimented it. This is not something I wear dressed up though. I really only prefer the cream of Christmas Cookies. The cream is strong and I do not feel the spray is not necessary. I found the spray a bit too strong and gave it to my friend. I wasn’t getting as much almond out of the spray as I was with the cream. If you are a fan of wearing Jergen’s Shea Butter lotion or Jergen’s Cherry Almond lotion, Christmas cookies goes great with those drugstore choices. Also goes great with Herbal Essence coconut shampoo or Suave coconut shampoo and coconut lotion! I love Christmas cookies while wearing a warm hoodie but in the warmer season, this goes great paired with coconut scents. Do not pair this with hibiscus paradise though! (Hibiscus Paradise is a coconut scent but it has a heavy dose of florals. Florals do not match Christmas Cookies! Pair it strictly with straight up coconut scents!)

Movie theater popcorn butter. This is very sweet with some discernable Vanilla but its salty tangy butter accord is most prominent. This is a unique gourmand, foody all the way and super strong. Definitely stronger than an average body spray. If you like smelling like extra buttery cookie dough or kettle corn, try it out. Don't expect a typical cookie scent though. This one is buttery from start to finish. Also I have a number of almond fragrances in my collection, and have smelled many more... I detect ZERO almond anything in Christmas Cookies, which I'm actually happy about. To me it's just salted butter, sugar and Vanilla. PS: If you like this mist, chances are that you will also enjoy B&BW's "Toasted Praline & Pear" (not the pear brown sugar one, the newer one), and "Confetti Cake Pop", as well as the new "Coconut Cream Pie". They are like siblings with only small differences. I think Christmas Cookies (original version like in the above photo) is the strongest and longest lasting of them all.

My boyfriend likes this one and he's picky. I ADORE it, I bought like 6 tubes of the cream (I only use the cream at BBW because I find the scents to be true and lasting. The sprays are a waste of donero in my opinion. They only last lie 5 seconds on me). It smells like Bali Black Coconut Sands but with Cookies! I just washed my doggie with the shower gel. It has a wet sensuality to it that I found Bali Black Coconut Sands also had. (maybe the caramel is doing that or the type of vanilla they used)? It almost smells like musk but I don't think it is. I never knew a company could make christmas cookies smell sensual and beachy but these guys have accomplished that. The absolute BEST THING about this scent is it has zero zilch NADA cinnamon (vomit) in it. NONEEEEEE! Oh, thank the lord flying high above the sky on a broomstick cuz I despise cinnamon and this has none. That's why I bought truckloads. J'adore!

Probably the best gourmand BBW has EVER come out with. caramel + nuttiness is a stunning combo. Now you combine that with cookie dough? It’s all we could ever ask for as consumers who want to smell absolutely scrumptious. So the cream alone.. smells exactly like raw chocolate chip cookie dough. This is basically 90% similar to sugared snickerdoodle. And like 80% similar to coconut cream pie. I feel like snickerdoodle is a bit stronger, but Christmas cookies lasts longer. This smells so amazing, there is a hint of saltiness in here that just does wonders. Remember, cookie dough is eggs,sugar, butter, flour etc. so of course it’ll smell buttery! It’s so delicious and mouthwatering though. My husband said it smells like nuts and waffles. He’s not a fan, but I am!! Scent Notes - Creamy Cookie Dough, Almond Biscotti, and Caramel Woods “A festive and fluffy sugar cookie for the most wonderful time of the year” 2022 release. I had the entire set of this and felt completely differently about everything in it. The mist for me was an absolute love, the body cream was alright, and I LOATHED the shower gel. This is straight up extra buttery almond cookie dough in body care form, I could only wear this set in the super cold or else the buttery smell of the cream was insanely overwhelming and something about the wet cookie dough smell in the shower was gag inducing. Based on just the mist I give the scent a solid 8/10, but for the rest of the line I would not be interested in repurchasing at all.

This smells like freshly baked amaretto cookies,butter cookies sprinkled with salt and butter cookies with peanuts from the cookie tin can.It has the perfect amount of sweetness and warmth to it.The only thing i'm missing is a cup of warm cocoa or coffee cupped by both of my hands.This is so perfect for something intimate,like cuddling on a cold winter night.It's a nice change of scent for me that still has sweetness in it but is not drenched with vanilla which ends up being cloying from time to time.

I just got the 2022 one and love this! Definitely a dupe for Sol de Janiero 71. It's straight up almond cookies. So sweet and super strong!! I'm definitely going to get a backup of this scent. This is the most accurate cookie scent I've ever had. Idk why but it seems cookie scents tend to be difficult for many brands, but B&BW got it right! With proper layering, it lasted about 3-4 hrs before fading. People will def smell this on you lol

For me, this is almost a dupe for Cheirosa '71. If this has a touch of salt, it would be an exact dupe for me. This costs about the same as Cheirosa but lasts longer, that's one big plus. I am almost out of the Cheirosa so I'm layering it with this. Since I am making the comparison, this is more caramel-biscuit & the Cheirosa is more caramel-salt. The Cheirosa used to be a favorite but it's just been replaced by this for me.

I've finally finished my bottle of Christmas Cookies body mist from Bath & Body Works, 8 oz over the past four years. It's like walking into a bakery during the holidays. Each spritz is a burst of super sweet, cookie goodness – think sugar, vanilla, marzipan, caramel and a hint of spice. It's so authentically sweet that I found myself reaching for it during my diet days when I was craving something sugary.

I am absolutely in love with this scent!! Took me a while to get since it hasn’t been available for a while but totally worth it! In my opinion it does have a similar scent to cheriosa 71 but it’s definitely less overwhelming, but still strong. To me it smells exactly like a creamy, slightly salty and sweet cookie dough. If you like sugary, cookie and caramel like scents- this will be perfect!

i have the 2022 version and when i tell you it smells exactly like sugared snickerdoodle without the spice im not joking. it also smells very similar to 71 cheriosa by bath and body works. a very yummy scent! literally a caramel cookie with crushed almonds on top. 🫧 long lasting, great sillage, perfect to layer with 🫧 as a gourmand girlie, i love this b&bw, bring this back!!

So disappointed that B&BW didn't bring this scent back for winter 2023. This is the only scent I daily wear from them. Had to stock up on Amazon. Very similar to Sol de Janeiro 71 but I actually prefer this. Excellent to layer with. Warm, salty, chocolate chip cookie, with that almond note I adore. Perfect for the gourmand girlies. Hope this makes a return!

Oh my, this is my favourite B&BW scent. It is sooo good and addicting. To me it smells like Twix without the chocolate. The caramel is so strong and delicious. It also has some cookie dough compounds as well. It ́s so edible, can`t get over how amazing this scent is. The lasting power is not that great, probably around 30 minutes to 01h00.

recently bought on a whim- at first it feels sooo strong, sweet and warm but once sprayed it clams down on the heaviness and turns into the most yum scent - totally an evening after a warm shower and full pamper routine 10/10 would recommend the matching lotion too- this will be a staple from sept to march for me

I was desperate to get a bottle of Toasted Praline and Pear which lead my hunt to Christmas Cookies. It smells completely of nutty, caramel cookies that's perfect not just for Christmas, but for every cozy, snuggly evening. It literally makes me hungry whenever I smell myself of this.

Coworker had this at her desk and sprayed my hand 3x. Smell: delicious buttery shortbread cookie Longevity: way longer than expected. Sprayed on at 8am and could easily smell it until my workday ended at 4pm. Ordered a 3-pack which totals 600mL of this killer juice.

This one smells amazing. It smells a lot like BBW Sugared Snickerdoodle, but without the snickerdoodle spices note in that one, and more almondy in this one. Love it! But you really have to be in the mood to smell like baked goods to get the most out of it LOL

I love to pair the body cream of this with Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 71. To me, they smell SO SO SO similar, except I smell more of a 'saltiness' to 71 that I love. To me they're like a dream match if I want to smell like a straight up bakery. <3

it smells like those danish butter cookies with the blue tin can that was turned into a sewing kit by ur moms — yes, that one! i love it and bbw sprays do not last but girl this one does and the sillage is beyond arm length

VERY similar to Snickerdoodle, but without the "spice". And it does remind me of vanilla bean Noel as well, but better! My husband loves it as well! Says he wants to "eat me". Not in a dirty way! 😂

It smells like a salted caramel cookie that you would get at the movie theater. It also reminds me of the Coco Cabana body mist from Sol de Janeiro but wayyyy better

I own this, Confetti Cake Pop, and Happy Birthday, and Christmas Cookies has way more of a salty caramel cookie-like scent that pulls away from the other two.

Smells like a sweet wheat biscuit. Very homey and comforting. Reminds me of my aunts and the warmth that they give during family gatherings.

It is such a cozy winter scent. 🎄🍪 I mean... the name already gives it away. Since I live in a tropical country where we don't really experience winter, I've found that I enjoy this fragrance much more in a cool environment rather than wearing it outside. My favorite way to use it is at night with the air conditioner on. I love spraying it around my bed, on my pillows, blankets, and even on the stuffed animal I cuddle while sleeping. 🤍 The dry down is especially beautiful. It becomes warm, soft, comforting, and genuinely smells like the kind of scent you'd want surrounding you on a cold winter night. I don't enjoy wearing it as an everyday body fragrance. On clothes and during hot, sunny days, it can become too sweet for me. In my climate, it sometimes feels almost sickeningly sweet, which really shows how much temperature can change the way a fragrance wears. Overall, I still think it's a beautiful scent. I just enjoy it more as a cozy bedtime or room fragrance than something I'd wear throughout the day.

I’ve seen people compare this to Cheriosa 71. I do not agree, they aren’t the same in any aspect at all. Christmas cookies is a heavy caramel cookie scent and the almond is there but it’s not too nutty, Cheriosa 71 is macadamia nut, in the cap it smells like a cookie but the dry down is too nutty, it’s not that I dislike the scent but I enjoy Christmas cookies more because to me it smells like a warm baked caramel cookie. I know the projection is great because I get tons of compliments when I wear it and people have asked who has cookies or you smell delicious! When I went to my Dr. he said I smelled something good in the hallway and here it’s you, also the nurses asked me what I was wearing that day! Love Christmas Cookies I don’t care if it’s a winter scent if I want to smell like a delicious yummy caramel cookie in any season this is what I’ll reach for!

Wow, this smells absolutely delicious. Freshly baked buttery shortbread cookies, dripping with caramel and dusted with sugar with a smooth, creamy vanilla undertone. Super buttery perfume. The opening blast is literal butter popcorn, yum! Definitely something I'd wear to bed to sleep in, or when I'm feeling cute. It's so cozy and pretty. I'm not sure I'd wear this during the day or anytime other than Christmas, but I'm pleasantly surprised. It's really addictive, but for me, it's quite light. Didn't last longer than two hours. I really like it though! I'm happy with my blind buy. Will add in an edit when quarantine is over and I can finally see my boyfriend, and we'll see what he thinks! Edit: I have to admit, I have a bit of an obsession with this spray. I put it on every night before bed time, and it smells soooo yummy and indulgent. I love it haha!

100% shortbread cookies crumbling in a tin! Mouthwatering and realistic. My cat knocked over my daughter's shower gel in this, it lost 20% or so, and I cleaned it off the bathroom floor. I now have some scent lingering on my hands, and it's delicious 😋 Not complex or expensive smelling at all, but one of those classic B&BW comfort smells that they do so well. This would make for a wonderful gift or an easy-reach. I certainly enjoy it more than most of their holiday releases/staples! I don't find this overwhelming or cloying like some of their other gourmands. I didn't rate the caramel or woods as noticable at all, to me this is just almond and shortbread biscuit/cookies.

It smells like Sugared Snickerdoodle (JOY) which is also marketed as a holiday fragrance. CC smells like pastry but like a caramel pastry. The scent is heavy/thick if that makes sense so it lasts longer than the other BBW mists. If you already have any sweet, pastry-ish perfume I don't think you should get this. It's nothing special and you don't have to buy this if not for collection sake. But if you like gourmand scents then I think you should get this.

I only have the shower gel and I swear after 5 minutes the bathroom still has that cookie scent! It's a little too much for a gourmand starter like me, but I really enjoy it as a shower gel, and it enhances my other gourmand scents some how.

I like this more than Vanilla Bean Noel. It’s more caramel and wheat biscuits with loooots of sugar.

If you have wrapped in vanilla then you do not need this one. They smell identical to each other.

Just ordered this online after falling in love with the original last year. I believe this has been reformulated along with the change of packaging the original bottle was pink with colored sprinkles on the bottle. When I smelt this last year December 2019 it smelt soo yummy exactly like buttery, Sweet, Shortbread Cookie dough it was unbelievable how they where able to get that exact smell and I was addicted. The 2020 version in the Gold Sparkly bottle is not the same smell. I get a sweet cinnamon/clove, Pumpkin scent with almond and caramel notes a scent that has been done hundreds of times and I don't like it. Its Definitely a Fall scent and "gourmandish" but not feeling it. Another amazing fragrance ruined I just don't understand it. I will be returning this to Bath and Body Works this is not that "Yummy" Buttery Cookie scent that I fell in love with last year.

"Creamy cookie dough" is listed as a fragrance note. There isn't a cookie dough on Earth that I don't want to immediately inhale, so I picked up a full set of Christmas cookies body care. My cookie dough dreams were shattered once I opened up the bottles and took a whiff... ...it's butter. Popcorn jelly bean butter. The "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" butter. Over time, a bit of sugar comes in through the butter smell. I've heard from others getting a much deeper and prominent sweet vanilla, but it's not strong to my nose. It's more reminiscent of finding an old tin that used to hold those little Christmas shortbreads and still getting a faint whiff of the sweetness. It's a different type of sweet than I'm used to for fragrance. If you want to add some buttery richness to other scents, this is probably a really great option.

I have been using Philosophy's "Christmas Cookie" body wash for years. I love the smell. They make perfumes as well of their body wash scents, but not of that particular scent. So...I found this and was hoping it would smell like it, but it does not. But I do still really like it. I have the, I guess 2020, version of this. My bottle looks different than the one in the pic. It smells great, the only slight knock on it to me is, that at the end of the day, the scent changes to something else and the cookie smell fades out. I can't say what the scent is that it turns into, but I don't enjoy it as much. But the first several hours it smells so good.

I first got into gourmand not so long ago and ordered this because so many people said it smells like warm cookies, which I like. The initial spay has me shocked - It's so sweet! A literal BLAST to my unsuspected nose. I choked myself out a little with it, me think. I should expect it to be sweet ( cause of the notes ), but still, I didn't think it'd be THIS strong lmao. Took me a while to warmed up to it, but this scent feels most appropriate for colder weather, might be a bit cloying in hotter weather where I live.

Creamy butter caramel like popcorn, but I want it more soft, this smell nutty cookies and quite feeling too powdery dry and thirsty

Alcohol. Pure alcohol. Just thinking about this scent gives me Vietnam flashbacks. When it dries down it smells amazing, exactly like a warm sugar cookie. You just have to make it through the pure alcohol scent as you spray it first without a headache. This is a common theme with me for most Bath and Bodyworks sprays, so it might just be a me problem. But if you’re prone to headaches from scents, steer clear!

imo this is very similar to sol de janeiro cheirosa 71. unfortunately i don't like that scent lol. But it's a very sweet caramelly fragrance that some may love and some may think smells like buttered popcorn and pee!!! i would try it in person before buying. you could use this as a dupe for SDJ 71 or use the body products with it.

Smells just like cookies!! Not sure if it’s related, but one time I went a bit overboard with this, and about two minutes after I walked into class, my professor asked if anyone was eating lunch with soy sauce so...

Reviewing now that I just blind bought the 2022 mist and shower gel along with the 2021 body lotion for the holidays. Honestly, the scent doesn't quite measure up to the 2019 version listed in the database. I'm a huge fan of the christmas series from that year, particularly santa’s blueberry shortbread, hot cocoa and cream, and the goat bright lemon snowdrop. it’s disappointing that they discontinued the three and tweaked this version for the worse. I use ogx coconut and coffee body wash with al rehab’s choco musk to make this work for me and I find it more enjoyable that way since the set on its own is no longer anything special in my opinion.

I have a very sensitive nose and this does NOT smell like cheirosa 71. It smells like chocolate chip cookie dough before the chocolate chips are added at least the 2021 and 2022 version do. I love both of them and am a fan of anything with almond. It’s definitely buttery and warm. If anything it reminds me of coconut cream pie without the coconut, more caramel and that yummy almond biscotti note. 2021 is my favorite for the wash and lotion and 2022 is my favorite spray. I highly recommend layering this with Choco Musk

Like the reviewer below I'm not a huge body mist user either(I only layer them by spraying on my jacket while I have perfume on my skin that wont clash with the mist)anyway I have to admit I'm impressed with how long it lingered on my jacket and the smell is extremely close and similar to almond flavored cookies!;this Christmas scent is nice and I'll continue to layer it with my other perfumes that will go well with it
