Classic Flannel

A Nighttime and Cooler season fragrance, uplifting, manly and a favourite of mine, a must-have if you enjoy the woody ambery aquatics of which this has a strong inspo, carrying a sweetness which would make it wearable by a very confident woman; slightly disappointed that fragrantica doesn't list this sugary aspect. Projects longer than expected, becoming a skin scent after two hours and lasting a total of five hours for me. Carries a tinge of cheapness if you overspray, probably the patchouli and amber pairing, but it is an affordable scent after all these days due to markdown. Really do miss the sharper WOODY hit this one had in the hand soap presentation: a sublime, somewhat uppity mahogany ironically screaming "I come from money and I feel like flaunting it", which is what made me buy the Cologne. Very clear juice but sadly, box has declared artificial dyes, Violet #2 to be precise, which will make my use of it quite sparse. Sept. 2023 batch review, 4.5/5 overall.

I love how warm this smells, especially when it dries. To me, it has more of a chocolate smell to it, and hardly get any of the citrus notes that are in it.

Thanks Fragrantica for adding it the database. 👍 Classic Flannel is so nice! This scent is released during the holiday season and the cologne and body products are hugely popular. It's the perfect daily men's scent that can be worn for most any situation, imo. It smells fresh & masculine with a sweet ambery patchouli accord. The classic style bottle is nice too. $45 retail price but wait for the sales.

Overall very good scent. Slightly cloying upon application, but dry down is very nice. The combination of notes almost makes it come off as pine, dare I say a citruisy version of Aspen. Overall its a great winter, especially December fragrance.
