This fragrance captures that perfect after-beach feeling - you know, when your skin is caramelized by sea salt and sun, with that warm, bronzed glow from suntan oil like Hawaiian Tropic. I have to be honest though - when you first spray it, there's this screechy note that hits you right away. It's not the best first impression, and I think it might put some people off initially. But stick with it, because within just a few seconds, that bitter, sharp opening fades and you're left with this gorgeous (rum-based coconut liqueur Malibu-like) coconutty, sun-kissed skin scent that's absolutely divine if that's what you're looking for. I even spray it in my hair - when the summer breeze hits, it's like being wrapped in a tropical breeze that just lifts your mood instantly. The body butter version is incredible too. The scent is softer and more subtle, and it makes your skin feel silky smooth without any greasy residue. This is what makes summer feel like the summer for me. It's lightly creamy, slightly nutty, a touch sweet - that perfect sunny, exotic coconut vibe. I'm absolutely obsessed with it!

Very positive experience overall. This is a rich, creamy and milky coconut that feels smooth and comforting rather than watery or artificial. It leans more toward coconut cream/milk than fresh coconut, giving it a warm, indulgent gourmand quality. Performance is surprisingly strong, especially for a mist. Projection is noticeable and it can easily become overwhelming if oversprayed, so sensitive noses should apply with caution. Simple, effective, and well-executed. If you’re looking for a bold, buttery and creamy coconut that actually lasts and doesn’t fade into nothing, this one delivers.

This smells exactly like what I remember Exotic Coconut smelling like. If I were to smell them side by side maybe I could spot some differences, but this is close enough. Exotic Coconut was one of my favorite classic B&BW scents and my favorite coconut scent period. So many coconut vanilla scents are too sweet or too strong for me. There’s a clean but warm nature to this scent that I just love. It’s not too much on warm days and is still enjoyable on cool ones. I am thrilled to have this in my fragrance wardrobe and snagged a few backups for when this is inevitably discontinued.

i recently bought this scent after i saw a tiktok about a true lactonic coconut that ive been PROWLING for. im so glad it did not disappoint! i love how the coconut is prominent but not overbearing and you can still smell the other lactonic notes. every coconut scent ive looked at and tried has always been coconut beach or coconut pineapple, which i do not like at all. this is pure and straight up coconut. i love it forever and hope it doesn't discontinue soon! peace and love yall.

One of the best BBW body sprays available. Punches well above its price tag. Intense, realistic, unsweetened coconut and shea butter. So milky and creamy you can actually taste it. Lasts forever on clothes, better than many EDPs. NOT beachy, fruity, tropical cocktail, sunny bachelorette party kind of coconut. YES expensive-smelling, super rich, naturally sweet. Evokes porcelain clawfoot tubs full of milk, pristine spas, luxury skin products.

I personally LOVE this coconut scent. If you are a fan of sweet/gourmand or tropical fruity coconut scents, you may not enjoy this. The notes are warm coconut milk and creamy shea butter, and I think it's accurate! I find it to be the perfect authentic coconut scent with a hint of green/nuttiness to it. This scent is amazing in warm weather, it's creamy, just gets prettier the longer it sits on your skin/clothes, and it lasts a decent while!

a lovely year-round coconut. creamy and slightly sweet, but far from gourmand. the shea really brings out the coconut but also neutralizes it, makes it almost musky. great longevity, as it seems is always the case with their perfume mists. love to layer it with kuumba made's coconut fragrance oils.

A simple, fresh coconut fragrance that pairs well with practically everything in my collection. It causes a bit of a head rush at the beginning, at least for me, but it's fleeting, and doesn't take much away from the pleasantries of the fragrance itself. Would certainly recommend.

Okay so this at first is very plasticy i couldn’t smell anything except for plastic and alcohol for the first minute then it settles down into this nice creamy coconut milk scent very comforting and refreshing.

The most pure smelling (affordable) coconut body mist you will find. It’s warm, comforting, and perfect for summer. It also layers so well with my other fragrances. The matching body butter is also amazing!

this is just pure, fresh, clean coconut. i love spraying it on after an everything shower!! its very straightforward but I gravitate towards it so much lol

This is a spot on remake of their scents from bath and body works yesteryear, Exotic Coconut. Iykyk. I absolutely love it!

I need a perfume that smells exactly like this and lasts. Best scent to come outta BBW for 20 years

To me this is equal parts coconut and shea butter. That's about it, it's a simple fragrance but very nice after a shower or for layering. It's quite creamy and sweet but not in a gourmand way, more of like a showery way.

This fragrance offers a straightforward coconut scent, leaning more towards fresh coconut rather than sweet and creamy. It has a summery, beachy vibe with a slight resemblance to suntan lotion. Light and fresh, it’s neither overly sweet nor heavy. Nice for daytime and during the hot summer months. However, it lacks the creamy, dreamy coconut quality I prefer. The longevity and sillage are disappointing, especially given the price. I first smelled this fragrance while I was in the hospital. Every time my nurse came into my room she smelled so good, clean, and light, it was just a happy fragrance. I had to ask what she was wearing. It is a pleasant fragrance for everyday wear and the workplace. 6/10 Sillage 6/10 Longevity 6/10

A more ozonic cousin of Whipped Vanilla Chiffon. Smells identical to fakebake, the self tanner smell if anyone recalls, so pretty similar to Whipped Vanilla Chiffon, however the latter was better - still have a bottle since 2021. This perfume mist has something very ozonic (it sometimes smells like sweat on my skin) so it's alot closer to the fakebake smell than Whipped Vanilla Chiffon. The shea butter note does not go well with my chemistry. I kept it as a bathroom spray for the bathroom where I groom my collies and it makes a room smell great. Whipped Vanilla Chiffon is all I need if I wanna experience the deep buttery coconut smell of fakebake without any stinky effect

this one is interesting to me. i rly like this scent on a tester card and straight from the bottle but once it has settled on my skin, it smells like cleaner? i have to issue with the milk perfume must as well :( BUT i will say this is the perfect coconut milk scent, its lactonic without have a sour milk scent and has the perfect amount of nuttiness coming through. maybe it gets better over time but for now, not good. 🥲

I had high hopes for this one. But it didn't disappoint me completely. When I spray this on my wrist and go for a whiff it smells like plastic, chemicals, nauseating and sweet. Doesn't smell like coconut at all. But when I apply it on myself and get a whiff here and there it kind of smells Like coconut macaron.

It's incredibly simple, just a straight coconut scent. It unfortunately smells a little bit like unscented cocoa butter, and a little goes a long way! I think paired with more of a gourmand, spicy scent it'd be freaking amazing though!

Okay, I love coconut scents, but this one? absolutely not. I don’t know what went wrong here, but this isn’t the creamy, sweet, tropical coconut I was hoping for. It’s not even close. It’s like they took a coconut, left it out too long in the sun, and then tried to make a body spray out of it. It doesn’t smell sweet or warm AT ALL. Instead, it has this weird, almost sour or stale vibe to it. Like bad coconut water mixed with plastic? I genuinely don’t know how else to describe it except... it kind of tastes bad just from smelling it. You know when a scent is so off that you can practically feel it on your tongue? Yeah. That. I kept trying to give it a chance, thinking maybe it would settle down or smell better layered with something else, but nope... it stayed weird. No creamy vanilla base, no soft tropical vibe, nothing that makes coconut scents so comforting and beachy. It’s a total miss for me. Honestly? one of the worst coconut scents I’ve tried. I don’t know who this was made for, but I wish I could un-smell it.

I don’t like it and neither do my daughters. I get plastic. They get play doh. I have never smelled play doh in any perfume. Apparently where others get play doh, I get plastic. I returned it after blind buying.

A disappointing coconut for me - there's something about it that smells artificial? Like plastic. I wish I could enjoy it :(

This coconut perfume spray was so bad that I had contacted BBW to complain about my purchase. The package had arrived with one bottle leaking, but that was not the only problem. The other bottle of coconut smelled the same and left me wondering if a stink bug had somehow gotten to the box that my order had arrived in! At first, I thought it was just the plastic lid that was exuding the stench, but no, it was the actual product that smelled bad. Upon researching this, I learned that I was not the only one who was experiencing this horrific scent. It affects any of the products with BBW coconut scent. I found out that stink bugs exude aldehydes and esters to ward off predators and perhaps that is in this product. Just awful and it was a shock as I like some of the other products at BBW such as Oh Cherry, Lavender, and Covered in Roses.

One of the best coconut scents Bath & Body Works has come out with. This smells exactly as listed, a very realistic coconut note, it doesn't have that fakeness about it that some coconut scents do with some coconut scents that are sickly sweet, this has rich shea and cocoa butter that give it this creamy like sweetness, I don't really get custard in this. Beautiful warm creamy coconut with shea and cocoa butter, very good for summer but really can be worn year round. I bought the whole set for this.

I really don't like this one: the shea butter gives it an odd smell. Think stale lipstick from the '70s 🤣 It reminds me when I was a kid and I played with old makeup that my aunt gave me. It sure isn't a gourmand, it's more like a fresh coconut. If you like Glossier you, you'll probably like it, cos that's the other scent where I smell that stale lipstick undertone.

This smells identical to the Exotic Coconut line (discontinued) BB&W had back in the day. If any of my fellow Coconut lovers missed having Exotic Coconut in their collection then do yourself a solid and pick up Coconut 2024. I am glad to have this back! One of the best smelling coconuts ever!

This is lovely! It smells similar to coconut cream pie, and whipped coconut milkshake. It’s that creamy, decadent type of coconut scent. Not similar to the white / fresh type of coconut from Waikiki beach coconut. It’s performance is great 🥥

This smells like the bougiest cocoa butter you could find. I’m not really getting coconut, I’m getting Palmer’s lotion with an upscale touch sweetness.

Reminds me of Exotic Coconut from a long time ago that they discontinued! 😍
