Coconut Lime Verbena (mist)

When I first wore CLV I was disappointed because of its lackluster performance and the fact that it’s not a very original scent. This has a lot of similarities to Skylar’s Lime Sand, Creed Virgin Island Water, and BBW Coconut lime breeze. CLV looks like it has a complex pyramid, but it is just a lime and coconut scent. My negative opinion did change over time. The more I wore CLV the more I fell in love with it. CLV is a refreshing and tart body spray that radiates from the skin in high humidity. I would not describe this as a sweet. I loved wearing this at night after an everything shower in the summer because It made me smell sexy and clean. This is a complement magnet. This is one of the few scents that multiple strangers have complemented me on. Even my boyfriend (who never says anything about my perfumes) said he loved this. Projection is excellent but longevity is not the best, so I over spray and have to reapply at the three hour mark. 7/10. It's a limey, but not overly tart, fresh coconut. It's slightly aquatic, and unisex but on the more classically feminine side. The notes are balanced in a nearly addictive way, and whenever I've smelled this we worn it, I'm struck by how I truly wouldn't change a thing about it aside from the longevity. It's truly comforting, summery, and timeless.
