Copper Fields

My most used body mist. I wanna be buried smelling like this and I hope paradise will have a scent like it lol. This scent is divine. My top favorite from BBW, and then the rest follow: Pure Wonder, Fresh Vanilla Blossoms, Meet Me in Miami (like the coconut version of Pure Wonder to me), Together Weather, Beachfront Blanket, Sunkissed, Tropidelic, Underwater Oasis, the list goes on. And I'll post the review I had on BBW. This could be the coconut free version of Copper Coconut sands even though this is a league of its own. And here again the name "Copper" ... does this imply the creamy sandalwood giving suntan lotion in both fragrances and the ozonic almost floral opening? (Listed as Bronzed woods here). The opening and the character of the scent reminds me of Copper Coconut sands without the coconut in your face of course. It is fresh but with a sugary woody base and a soft kinda floral-fruity vibe slightly ozonic to my nose at first, but with time it gets warmer and sweeter like plum fruits under a hot late August sun. It's perfect for spring, summer and this time of the year when the sun is still hot but the air begins to be less humid where I live, cooler and a little nippy at night. I paired it with the sweater weather lotion today and they smell good together but they are opposite fragrances, this is warm, fresh, but syrupy like I said. This is much richer, sweeter than sweater weather, nothing sour in Copper Fields. This is my favorite from the new ones and then vanilla bourbon and FRESH vanilla blossoms (kinda like FRESH coconut and cotton again without the coconut, I like how they're playing with words and then the corresponding older fragrances sharing these key words kinda remind me of these new ones haha). Safe blind buy in my humble opinion, but it is not a fall fragrance, more like Summer & Spring time. My second favorite was Together Weather which gets me compliments from people and it's more of a Fall fragrance as in cozy but with an unexpected slightly odd herbal freshness - it smells like cooked fruit and with a herbal note - cardamom, but Copper Fields is even better, more unique to me.

I thought I hated this, the initial spray I perceived to be coconut was in fact, not, and it becomes such a nice sweet, warm, slightly citrus, aquatic skin scent. I went back into the store to buy it as it was the last one left of the sale.

i like this but there's a sunscreen-y quality that keeps me from loving it. i would also say the notes and accords listed here and by bbw are very misleading. although coconut isn't listed, it definitely is present to my nose--in fact, it's the main note i smell. it's a nice, warm fragrance, so if you enjoy coconutty, suntan lotion-y, tropical fragrances, but still want a more perfume-y depth, you would love this. this frag is almost identical to wild sand imo, so if you already have that, you can definitely skip this one. sillage and longevity are both pretty average, with maybe slightly better longevity than other bbw mists.

I'm with vnoxnoctis, it has a beachy vibe. It smells similar to one of the beach scents a few years back, either waikiki or oahu, I can't recall which. It's a nice scent, but for me personally I have other similar scents in my collection that I prefer.

I just bought the body cream on clearance. Official notes are "harvest sun," "fresh wildflowers," and "bronzed woods." I'm getting sweetish woody notes and a big dose of calone. Which aren't my favorite things, personally. Interesting choices on the packaging, though; it's the type of scent you expect to see in a blue bottle, but if you sniff it and think "harvest sun" it does sort of work? Unisex leaning masculine.

I fell in love with this at first spray. Its opening is a bit vanillic, sweet, and fruity, but when it came to the drydown, the clean musk and fresh solar note (I'm guessing it's calone) just settle in nicely. I love how it is fruity, creamy, clean, and fresh at the same time. Simple yet beautiful and unique. It's highly inoffensive and can be worn at any time of the day. The sillage is not too intimate, but it doesn't really radiate too obviously beyond arm's length. It can last on clothing for 2 to 3 hours. As expected with any body mist, one may have to spray a lot of this to maximise its full fragrance, though. But with the pricing, it's not really a waste to spritz it all over until you get the desired potency. This is one of the better fragrances B&BW has ever come up with and is a safe blind buy as it's not a polarising type of scent. An 8.5/10 for me.

Solar notes. This means, I believe, the aroma chemical 'calone'. There was a decided aquatic note here, despite the golden, warm packaging! This is an excellent scent for those who prefer beachy scents but are giving a nod to autumn. It has that aquatic undertone that works well for some and not for others!

This one is very nice and very inoffensive! I could see this as an office or school scent! It doesn’t stand out but it’s a pleasant smell!
