Country Apple

I've been sleeping on this for so long! I bought the lotion during the SAS before this one but barely wore it because fruity scents feel weird to wear in the dead of winter. I started using it again last month and long story short I now own the entire body care line thanks to it all being 75% off right now. I like that, while being a fruity scent, it isn't just a singular apple note. When I sniff it I think of walking through an orchard due to the slight woodsy undertones. It's also not an overly sweet or sour apple smell, its very fresh and clean and slightly reminds me of the hair gel my older brother used in the early 2000's. This feels like a great fragrance to wear during the August-September time when the weather is still warm but just beginning to turn to fall.

Country Apple has been one of my favorite apple scents for years now. It is natural smelling apple with lily of the valley and some woods. The lotion is especially lovely smelling. It is evocative of autumn apple orchards for me. Delicious! This is definitely not as sweet as Champagne Apple and Honey, which is alright for me. . But it’s sweeter than Sweater Weather which is woodier. So there you go!

i love apples, and this was everything i wanted. It's such a good apple mist, i have gotten complements, and i have finished a bottle because it is just THAT GOOD!!!!!!!! this is the shit eve would smack on in the garden

Review now that it’s empty: A little too tart/sour. Nice for a shower gel but I got tired of wearing it. I used it as a shower spray.

one of my first B&BW body mists! be aware im reviewing a batch from around 2017-2018 from memory and recent usage, so the scent may have changed both from time on my shelf and B&BW tweaking the recipe. however, i doubt this is the case as even years later this scent still smells the exact same as i remember it, and it also seems country apple hasn't been sold for a while. it is exactly what it entails on the bottle. to me, it smells like a cut-up honeycrisp and granny smith apple sprayed lightly with sugar water. like what you imagine a grocery store commercial apple would smell like when it's being misted by the machines and then cut up. it's a little tart and a little sour, maybe a little bit of a green apple candy note in there, but not very complex. it is very apple and not much else, so don't buy this expecting a multilayered smell. i still like it to this day due to both nostalgia and the fact it's just a nice, fresh & simple smell. doesn't overwhelm me but is still noticeable and sweet.

Was pleasantly surprised with this. I just added this to my cart in recent SAS sale so I can complete the free shipping thing. I wasn’t too excited about this. I thought it’s gonna be a syrupy, sugary synthetic kind of apple. But boy I was wrong! This smelled so fresh, crisp and clean. It’s like you sliced a ripe red apple and inhaled the inside part with a bit of crisp fresh air and slight barely discernible floral in the background. This also smelled shampoo like to me. It sort of reminded me of those lingering apple scented shampoos. It smells so light and just fresh fruity. It’s smell is uplifting. It is kinda similar to Pink Tye Die which I also absolutely adore. So if you like those types of scents, you will certainly love this. So happy with this blind buy purchase!.

Not strong and not long lasting. I love fall apple scents but this is so upsetting compared to others. It turns into just a alcohol scented lingering smell. I like it a lot but if it was long lasting I would love

Smells very fruity and sweet. Its also fresh smelling. Its a more of a juvenile scent, which isn't a bad thing. Its something a high school or middle school girl would wear.

sooo many childhood memories come to mind when I smell it. I just can’t hate it. Too nostalgic

This is basically straightforward apple. Not crisp to my nose, or complex. It's their signature apple accord that can be found in a lot of other fragrances, this simply being in a high dose. It's not green or tart whatsoever, just sweet (synthetic, but not gross) red apple. Apple isn't my very favorite note, but I don't dislike it either. If it's something you enjoy, I'd recommend this for you either on it's own, or layered with other apple-ish fragrances. It's definitely uplifting, and probably inoffensive almost anywhere. I'd imagine the shower gel to be particularly pleasing on hot days 🍎🚿

Not sure what 2019 date is referring to considering this has been out since the nineties. A girl in my sorority wore this religiously and you could always smell it on her. Back in the 2000's fragrances were powerful, even the body sprays. While I've always loved apple, this one was never my favorite. There was something sour about the BBW rendition. My all time favorite was enchanted apple by VS. It was fresh, crisp, clean and fruity in the best possible way. I should've stocked up on the classics from the 2000's because current versions are reformulated and often much weaker.

This starts out with a very sharp alcohol smell that dissipates pretty quickly leaving behind a fresh apple smell. But the problem is that it doesn't last long at all and no matter how much you spray it, it will sit close to the skin and then the scent just vanishes. I use it at home during the summer just to freshen up and to use it up. Overall, it's unimpressive.

This smells just like apple and sugar. There is no depth in this scent at all. It's not green or tart which I was hoping for since I purchased it in a blind buy, since those are the scents that doesn't make me dizzy and nauseous. It's a synthetic red apple fragrance (more like an apple juice) than a freshly picked luscious apple. A bit disappointing.

If you like the note of apple, this will be your thing. It's pretty simplistic, unadulterated apple. It's fresh and clean, nice but not memorable. Perhaps layering can make it more interesting. I will use it up, especially in summer, and then move on.

A ripe red delicious apple; not tart and crisp and not overripe, just the right amount of sweetness and ripeness. It’s a tad synthetic solinote with poor performance but pleasant nonetheless.

This smells more like cherry than apple to me. The body wash smells strongly like apples, but the body mist smells like cherry to me. Not apples.

I loved the body cream of this in HS but these days the spray does not last. Smells good for 30 min and gone.

Very artificial smelling but not in a bed way per say. It kind of reminds me of snapple apple
