Covered In Roses

I wasn’t going to get this fragrance, but wow! I’m so glad I did! Rose fragrances always remind me of those powder room guest soaps that Italian Nonas always put out when company was coming over. They’re sickly, powdery, and overwhelming. Covered In Roses absolutely broke the wheel, and managed to make me fall in love with a rose fragrance. It’s so good. It’s feminine without being overly girly. There are absolutely no overwhelming old fashioned powdery notes. It’s well balanced and so easy to wear. It’s not sickly sweet. It’s honestly beautiful. It has decent longevity for a body mist, lasting about four hours on my skin. I only wish they had a body wash and body cream or lotion to complement the experience. That would be total heaven. Today I tried an experiment. I layered it over Chanel No. 5. I do like some vintage powdery fragrances every once in awhile, especially when I’m just chilling at home at night, and Chanel No. 5 is such a nostalgic classic that I think every woman should have in her collection at least once in her lifetime. Covered In Roses picked up on Chanel’s rose notes so beautifully, and changed the entire mood of the EDP. It felt modern, and sexy, and absolutely delicious. Try this layering combo if have both, and enjoy!

Sooooooo good! Perfect layering bath and body line for Delina and Delina Exclusif original and dupes. Not my usual scent profile , but I can appreciate the feminine juicy fruits and powdery rose, I have Delina/Exclusif & dupes, but this is not only a great option for layering, but also for slowly adjusting to this scent profile. I’m not a rosey pink perfume girly, but I don’t mind exploring the idea of becoming one and this B&BW dupe is not only good for layering, but also good for easing into the dna when the inspired by and dupe experience might be too much. Edit: Ok, so I used this layered with a Delina dupe as my bedtime scent but it got to the point where it was too much. Really pretty, but I’m not a fruity floral type so it became screechy laying in a scent bubble for hours in bed. I added Bianco Latte and that smoothed out the screechiness . It’s really beautiful but a bit much for me as someone who doesn’t really do this type of profile. I think that as much as I like it, I will have to layer with creamy vanilla scents to soften the tart red fruit and strong rose scent. This is an outside scent profile and not a bedtime scent profile and that was my mistake. Love it, but it has to BREATHE!

I left BBW mists back in 2007, I believe the last thing I purchased was Japanese Cherry Blossom and Woods-something, and it was that year that I got heavily into perfumes. I never went to BBW again, aside from ordering a few candles online from time to time. I was at the mall last month, and as soon as I saw three roses on display i had to go in. I am a huge lover of roses in perfumery; in fact, rose is my preference, so I had to try the three mists on display. Out of the three, CIR was the best, and performed the best, so I purchased it on the spot. It smells of sugared roses, and it appears much higher in quality than it is, although the performance is short, and i get a couple of hours out of it. I like it for quiet evenings at home when I prefer to wear perfumed lotions rather than a perfume. It is really classy and in no way cheap-smelling. I wish i could have landed the body lotion too, but they were out. I believe I would prefer the lotion over the mist, due to the alcohol content in these products. However, CIR is really pretty, even though it's cheap. Make what you want out of it.

Not familiar with Delina, but if Covered In Roses smells anything like it, I bet I would love it! This scent is beautiful and versatile. I typically wear this during the daytime but its sweet enough for eveningwear as well. With a light hand, I can even wear it to the office. The rose note is not typical. It's very green, almost like a rosebud after rain. Even with the "ruby berries" note, this is a rose-forward scent with the berries taking a backseat. I find that they add back the sweetness that the rose lacked. The amber note is only really evident after a little while on the skin. It's really well blended and a surprisingly lovely rose fragrance. There are very few rose scents that I like, so I didn't expect to love this scent at all, but I've been reaching for it at all hours of the day. It's soft enough to spray before bed, and cheerful enough to spray first thing in the morning. It also has above average longevity for a BBW body mist. I'll be repurchasing this scent as soon as I run out, or during the Bath & Body Works Semi Annual Sale. Whichever comes first.

Definitely my favorite bath and body works mist for multiple reasons. This scent made me fall in LOVE with rose! I was never too big on fragrances with mainly rose as a note, but this is such a sweet, absolutely beautiful rose. If you blindly told me this was a B&BW FFM, I wouldn’t believe you because of how elegant it is. Also... THE LONGEVITY? LITERALLY THE BEST! I still smell this on my clothes the next day after spraying. Literally lasts longer than my $100+ Dior perfumes. I work at B&BW, and I can say that this line in general as a whole has very good longevity compared to every other FFM release. I can confidently say that B&BW realllly did their thing with this line. It’s supposed to be designer fragrance dupes, and the quality is really there. If you’re on the fence about it, I would say go for it. I’d recommend you smell the whole line, I am also very fond of pink obsessed, but I chose to review covered in roses because it’s my favorite. So overall, YES. 10/10

I wouldn't compare Covered In Roses to Delina (I find the OG Delina to be greener and with more incense) ... But I would totally compare it to Delina Exclusif. It's not a 100% exact dupe of Delina Exclusif (I think it's just a wee bit sweeter ... Like, half of a sugar cube sweeter), but it's insanely close. Well done, Bath & Body Works! Every time someone has recommended a Delina or Delina Exclusif dupe, I've been left underwhelmed and really disappointed. This, however ... THIS has the Delina DNA that I'm looking for to call it a dupe. I'm so happy! Because it's just a body mist, though, I imagine its staying power isn't going to be nearly as strong as I'd like for it to be. That said, this will be great for layering. Hey, B&BW, could you release eau de toilettes or eau de parfums of these popular perfume dupes, please? I would buy a Covered in Roses one in a heartbeat! Even an entire body care line of this would make me happy.

The most fresh, delectable, girly rose! I had never been a rose fragrance girly, mostly enjoying gourmands or more unisex/aromatic fragrances in the past. I was hesitant to try this, thinking I wouldn't enjoy a more floral, rose dominant scent, but I was so wrong! This is a delicious, sugared, airy rose that comes across as very fresh, sweet, and girly, and it's balanced beautifully by the tart berry note that's in here as well. This is a scent profile I've actually never tried before, but I'm totally converted :) I'm going to wear this through the end of summer into fall, and possibly into winter. While it is fresh and airy, it's such a classic scent that I think you could wear it throughout the colder months as well! I would totally recommend this to anyone who wants a sufficiently girly yet classic and sophisticated, juicy, sweet rose scent for cheap!

Although this is lacking the rhubarb note, it's definitely a dupe of Delina Parfums de Marly with perhaps a bit more sweetness that makes it lean a little to Delina Exclusif Parfums de Marly. A fresh rose - like putting your nose into a bouquet of roses that are resting in a vase of sugar syrup. The rose here is multifaceted, with tropical, geranium, jammy & green tones, but I don't get whipped peony or bubblegum facets which make this scent profile more unique. This is easy to wear and layers well with a lot of things including gourmands, white musks, citrus, fruits, other florals, other rose scents or Delina (and other dupes) to improve perfomance. I'll likely layer it with raspberry gourmands, marshmallow gourmands, caramel gourmands, other rose scents and Delina (and other dupes). Love it. Enjoy!

i'm really not a rose girl, but this is a stunner. in the opening, i get a bit of that almost spitty (what i imagine some people are perceiving as pickle-y) quality that a lot of rose fragrances give me, but that fades pretty quickly thankfully to a very sweet rosewater scent with a hint of tartness and greenness. rose scents can tend to lean more mature, but this is sweet enough to be suitable for any age range imho. it's not a very "me" scent, but it's objectively well-blended and beautifully classy (think clean girl aesthetic), and it's one of b&bw's best performing mists, especially for a floral. this is loud and long-lasting, but still has a light/airy quality to it that makes it suitable for spring and summer. definitely the kind of fragrance that i could see being someone's signature scent.

I took this with me on a trip and ended up wearing it non-stop. At the airport, I passed by a counter with the much-hyped Delina Exclusif and decided to spray it on just for fun. I asked my friend what she thought, and she said, “This smells just like you.” That’s how similar this body mist is to Delina. Of course, Delina has more depth and complexity... it’s deeper, with more layers but the resemblance is there. This mist holds its own. The longevity is impressive too; it lasts way longer than I expected for a body mist. The scent itself is beautiful—roses blended with juicy berries and just the right touch of amber. It’s everything I love in a fragrance. This one is hands down my favorite from B&BW, and 100% worth checking out.

amazing longevity. very similar to Delina. Basically a casual tshirt and jeans version of Delina. it smells a lot sharper and drier when you smell the lid and bottle than on skin. on my skin anyway the sweetness comes forward. It must project because I have gotten compliments on it and have been told it smells really fresh and clean. I could literally smell it the next morning in my hair, but it smelled a little different and more like the original scent of women's dove deodorant than Delina at that point, but honestly that doesn't bother me and it still smells nice and keeps on giving. I have been drowning myself in this and I will definitely buy a few backups on the next sale since they like to discontinue good things

This is a super nostalgic scent for me because it's exactly the smell of drying rose petals for potpourri. It's right between fresh rose and fully dried rose. When I was a teenager I dried some rose petals from our bushes and then wanted to make a ton more potpourri and went around town in Sonoma asking to deadhead peoples' roses for free if I could keep the trimmings. I had an entire room full of petals of various colors drying on newspaper and the smell was EXACTLY this smell. It's the smell of autumn when the roses are started to fade and drop and the bushes need to be neatened up to look nice. And it's the smell of winter when the petals are in the house drying, preserving their scent and color.

I'll admit... I haven't stepped into a B&BW in years, because my memory of their scents was sharp and synthetic. I'll further admit that I turned my nose up at body sprays for some reason... this however has changed my mind. It's a really beautiful everyday fragrance. I think it's suitable for all occasions, especially so since it's a body spray and you can let a lighter or stronger hand determine the intensity. I pair this with the Coco Mademoiselle body lotion and it's divine. I don't usually like rose heavy scents but this is just pretty and feminine and fresh. Seems to last ok so far for a body spray too. New signature! Helps that it smells so nice on a budget!

Think rose petals covered in a thick layer of sugar granules over a bed of creamy soft amber. This is it! This beauty is a true all ocassion scent and for a body spray it performs like a perfume, with pretty astonishing longevity (I can use it easily reapplying only once a day - it even performs better than some of my EDPs.) It is elegant, feminine, sweet, comforting and inviting, very rose forward and sugary but certainly not near gourmand territory. The drydown is a delicious, syrupy sugar amber. For some reason I don't always feel like wearing it as I can get overwhelmed by the potent rose note, but when I do, I feel in sweet heaven all day, intoxicated.

YouTube has been buzzing recently regarding the Delina-likeness of Covered In Roses 🌹 And they are not wrong. WOW ! This is a FINE FRAGRANCE MIST with the longevity of a perfume and it's utterly gorgeous and an excellent addition to your Rose collections. I have Delina Rosee and Delina - the likeness is 90% spot on. In fact I feel the sillage and longevity of Covered In Roses is better. Sol De Janerio Rosa Chadmosa is a beautiful skin layer before you go in with any rose perfume ✨️ **IMPORTANT INFORMATION** You will need to purchase the bottles that are faceted and pink, not the new ones with the Rose photos on it - as I think it's reformulated already !

im literally obsessed with this spray, so good that I went back to buy a second bottle yesterday. the rose is just like shockingly beautiful, compared to all of bbws other rose scents. it smells like it has way more layers than just the 3 notes listed on the bottle. it's long lasting, the rose STAYS, and strong. i've never smelled a body spray rose note like this before and i'm obsessed. it's a very pretty, elegant fragrance, a sweet rose. I've never smelled delina, but I know delina is similar to angel nova, and this body spray feels like it would be angel nova's rich cousin.

This preforms like a fragrance with perfume concentration! Wow! OVER 6 hours in my skin, unbelievable! This is the DELINA with less sharpness, truly what Delina as a body spray should smell like. To me this is NOT Delina Exclusif because it’s not as creamy and definitely lacks the vanilla that Exclusif has. I layered this with Vanilla 28 and two sprays of Exclusif on each side of my neck the day I was getting carpet installed in the house... when the guy smelled me about 4 arms length away, he immediately complimented me muiltiple times back to back with deep eye contact.

This smells almost exactly like delina.. Honestly I prefer this body spray over delina itself. The only real difference to me is longevity and the dry down. Obviously this isnt gonna last 12+ hours like delina, but it still lasts me around 5 hours on skin and a full 8 hour shift on clothing. This is the longest lasting b&bw spray i've ever had. I prefer covered in roses over delina simply for the dry down. It dries down to a beautiful vanilla, creamy rose. Still a very similar dry down to delina, but I think the extra vanilla is beautiful.

I haven’t smelled Delina yet (hope to do so in the future), but I can say that I looove the scent. Reminds me of Dior Rose ‘n Roses in the drydown, but Covered in Roses is a tad more sweet, and I even feel some juiciness in it. The sillage and projection are monstrous, a few puffs are enough, not to mention the longevity (I can still smell it at the end of the day). Highly recommend if you like rose in perfumes. It gives business woman sipping rose lemonade in a garden cafe on a trip in Paris vibes.

I had heard this smells just like Delina, which I sampled and fell in love with. I have to say, given this a Bath and Body Works body spray, my expectations were low, but Covered in Roses exceeded my expectations. I love it so much. I used up my decant of Delina, and while I’m sure this probably isn’t a perfect dupe, to me, it comes pretty damn close. It gives me the same feeling I had wearing Delina. It is great for layering, especially if you love that sour sort of floral rose smell.

I was skeptical because I’m not usually the biggest fan of Bath and Bodywork’s BUT it’s actually such an incredible Delina dupe. I have a sample of Delina that I’ve been savoring, but I don’t make Parfums de Marly money so I use it sparingly. This is an amazing dupe with an opening that’s a little off, but dries down really quickly into that striking tart rose and fruit smell that I love about Delina. 10/10, you can’t beat it for the price (especially if you get it on sale like I did)

This smells so fucking bomb. At first, I thought it was a little too strong but then the sweetness kicked in and I almost started drooling. It has the most perfect scent notes ever like the best combo ever. I don't own Delina but I heard about its notes and was intrigued so I thought I'd try a dupe. I would buy Delina due to its longer longevity bc it's a perfume and this is well a body mist but 200 is crazy for a perfume so I'm sticking to bbw. Anyways bbw ate with this mist

Such a good floral! I could see how some view this as "pickly" or herbal-y but I think that's just what rose perfumes are like in general, so it doesn't bother me at all. Really nice and refreshing to apply, somehow it just reminds me of smelling a bouquet & drinking a Shirley Temple, there's something sparkling sweet about it. BTW, I got this on sale for 6.95 which is amazing for the quality. Smells like a girl in a loving relationship lol

This fragrance is Delina in what, one twentieth the price no exaggeration the scent is just 1:1 Delina in a mist straight up. I own Delilah by maison alhambra, didn't impress me AT ALL yes I did let it macerate, nope way too alcohol-ish plus stay was pathetic. Was constantly in search of a clone for my favourite niche scent, found it💗 Don't listen to anything trust me if you are a fan of Delina you are gonna be obsessed with this one.

I just started running out of my sample of Delina Exclusif and I'm so happy I found this oh my word. I recently went on a trip to London for class and a girl on the trip had multiple bottles of actual Delina and I was very much considering robbing her for a good while there. But thanks to Bath and Body Works, I won't have to! Sillage is pretty comparable and it just smells so delectable I fucking love it.

Yeah, I didn’t think I’d be this obsessed with a rose fragrance. There’s a slight freshness to this fragrance that mellows the rose down so it doesn’t smell mature. Never tried Delina, so can’t compare. This doesn’t smell like VGG at all. (to me) Reminds me of a very light version of Atomic Rose. This is something you can wear on any occasion. Dressed up or down. You can’t go wrong with this at all.

Love this, as I love Delina! I think it smells a bit more tart/sweet (in a cheap body mist way) than what it is inspired by. The amber is quite strong as well, which is not a favourite of mine but it's not too bad. I layer this with Delina so I can smell like it all over, and it definitely helps with longevity! You can’t hate this if you like Delina, but I don’t think it beats the OG.

Soooo beautiful. Want to drench myself in it. I don’t own a Delina but bought this as I read its a super close dupe. Dupe or not, I simply loved this one. Its fresh, rosy, sweet but not in a cloying way. I can wear this all day/night and all seasons. For its price, its a must have I feel if you like rosy scents. If this is how Delina smells, then someday would like to get that one.

I've really loved this smell after wearing it on and off for several weeks. It's a sweet sugary powdery rose. The staying power is stronger than expected for a body spray, not requiring constant reapplication. The scent leans feminine without falling into either a juvenile or matronly vibe. Excellent value for the price point. I'm definitely curious enough to want to try Delina.

A delicious edible rose. I want to take a bite. Sweet, fresh, bright, tangy, and utterly addicting. I don’t usually like Bath and Bodyworks too too much, but this is gorgeous. There is a strong lychee coming forward, and it definitely pulls this a tad sweet. I love it so much. Beautifully blended, and to my nose, not synthetic. Huge fan!

I want to begin by saying, I am a gourmand lover. And, I love a good musk.I have never tried Delina, but I've watched/read tons of reviews and let me just say~~ WoW!! This is an absolutely beautiful fragrance. Sexy & feminine. For myself, I will wear this during every season, day & night. Here & there~ I'll wear it everywhere 😊

WOW! bath and body works did their best with this one. It is a beautiful rose perfume, it does remind me a lot of the delina perfume. For a body mist this lasts over a day on my clothes, you can also layer with the matching lotion. I dont usually love rose fragrances but this one had me smelling myself all day when I wear it

smells more like rosewater than roses per se which is probably why ive been so obsessed. longevity is okay i just reapply it whenever i feel like it. i no longer smell this on myself bc ive been out of control but there SEEMS to be a sillage given it allegedly made my 22 year old coworker fall in love with me

This is the most long lasting body spray I have ever had the privilege of owning. I have smelled it on my clothes DAYS after spraying it. It is sweet, juicy, rosey goodness!! I have smelled Delina before (though, I have not smelled it in quite some time) and I'd say it is a very very very good dupe as well!

I have been using Delinia and her flankers for 4 years now, and this is identical! I have no idea how they did it without a litchi or rhubarb note, but somehow they have. I use this on my clothes when I wear my PDM so I can save it for my pulse points. If you are a Delina girly! This is a worthy investment

I truly can not get over how spot on this dupe is of Delina by Parfums de Marly! Very affordable price, especially when Bath and Body Works have their sales. For being a body mist, with low perfume oil, it actually has good longevity. This scent, to me, stands on its own. I felt there was no need to layer.

Rose is my favorite scent and I absolutely adore this. Sweet sugar roses, nutmeg, and amber. Never smelled the original delina to compare but only delina dupes. Smells very similar to delina dupes but even better. Even better than oakcha madame rose. Has become my signature scent ❤️ it so much.

I have personally never tried Delina, but this spray is amazing and very long lasting with amazing siliage. I put it on before going to a concert where I spent all night dancing and singing, and at the end of night it still smelled like I had just sprayed it. Smells like roses and sugar 🌹

I’m a Delina girly through and through! I have Delina and all her flankers, and this smells identical! I have no idea how they were able to do it without a litchi note or a rhubarb note, but they did. This is great to spray on your clothes while you wear Delina on your pulse points!

Lovely. Lasts so long. Oftentimes when I wear a perfume I stop smelling it on myself after a bit, but this one I could smell the entire time it lasted, when I moved my hair or adjusted my flannel! Absolutely amazing scent I can't even begin to describe just how amazingly rose it is!

My absolute new favorite rose scent. I am so happy this came very heady with clean florals. It's sweet, too, and lasts for hours! It's been a full day and I can still smell it on my shirt from when I sprayed it the day before. Get the perfume version if you want it to last. Wow.

One way to describe it is - ROSES!! This is exactly what fresh roses smell like, no difference. And it goes soo well with any other rose scented perfume balms, oils, fragrance. It doesn’t last long but the scent is soo good it doesn’t matter. Love using it after shower

i think this is such a beautiful scent ... the name is very real it makes me feel like i am literally covered in roses ! i haven’t smelled the delina but i can imagine how similar they’re smelling . to me it smells really really like roses ! i really love this one !

This perfume smells so nice! I dont have Delina but this is close to the Stella Mccartney perfume in the purple bottle that was discontinued, but sweeter. This is also similiar to Bath and Body works Rose and Ivy but sweeter. This lasts for a long time too!

OOOOooo, I am proud of this one! Smells exactly like Delina but at a much more affordable price. The performance is impressive, with sillage and projection being around 5 feet. This is one of the few scents from BBW that I have stashed up at home.

I don't own Delina and have only smelled it on a friend and it smells wonderful. I cannot compare this to Delina bc I never tried it on myself. However, covered in roses is a pretty, sweet and slightly woody rose scent. Perfect for Spring.

i literally smell this on my clothes after 1-2 day passes. i dont know how they managed to do that but good job! also smells like sweet vanilla and roses. i just love it and i wear it all the time. i wish they had a travel size.

A scent way more beautiful and feminine than I expected. This is how I imagine a princess would smell like. I never smelled Delina but this smells like creamy sugar coated roses. Lasted 5-6 hours WITH PROJECTION on my skin

Absolutely adorable, it has a really bright, strong rose scent. I feel like there's a thin layer of grapefruit, a little bit of sour and bitter at the same time to harmonize with the overwhelming sweet smell of rose 🎀🌹

wow, wow, and wow! This is definitely a good dupe for Delina. It definitely lacks the staying power and some of the complexity but that is to be expected with a body spray. On me, it smells very lychee esque as well:)
