Daffodil Daydreams

I’ve been addicted to this marshmallow beauty lately, I’ve nearly finished my mini already so I went ahead and bought nine backups since I’m deeply in love and I’ve got a sneaking suspicion we may not get this scent back. Daffodil daydreams is an amazing and unique soft floral marshmallow fragrance that I’ve actually received a few compliments on. In my opinion this needs some heat to really truly shine as she’s on the lighter side, so if you feel like it’s too light for you try it in the summer months and be sure to over spray your clothes and layer a marshmallow or vanilla lotion to get some lasting power. It would have been lovely to have a lotion, cream, body wash, and full size spray in this but that didn’t happen. Hopefully b&bw stops all these stupid limited to location releases they’ve been doing lately.

It's green, fresh, creamy and sweet. I am confused with the combination of scents but I love it so much! I can now enjoy a sweet vanilla scent during hot weathers. I would agree with the notes here on Fragrantica. It does smell like marshmallows (60%), a flower (20%), a leaf (10%) and a hint of pastry (10%). ☘️🍦🌻 Smells a lot like Wrapped In Vanilla but not as gourmand. The blend of all the scents is divine ✨ If you like gourmand but not too gourmand; if you like gourmand and still want to smell perfumey and not like a baked good or a walking sugar coated pastry, this is perfect! ❤️ I wish this was on the permanent collection or they should at least bring it back with a full size version since I was only able to get my hands on the travel size.

This is the only thing they need to release every year for Easter but they won't. BBW rarely releases fresh gourmands but they're all lovely and underrated. The marshmallow note is not the typically overused toasted/burnt/smoky campfire marshmallow everywhere else but more like a newly opened bag of marshmallows or if you baked them at home. The flowers have indistinct identities, but aren't screechy, they smell welcoming and friendly and new. Based on pure seasonal association, this is the ultimate spring scent.

A yummy marshmallow scent with floral undertones, one of my favorites from B&BW. I saw it in store and thought the cover was adorable and when i smelled it i couldn’t believe how sweet and decadent it was😻 It would layer well with any ariana grande fragrance (i used to use sweet like candy) for max effect🫶

Beautiful marshmallow with a bit of floral but its incredibly soft. This doesn't really project. It's a skin scent on me but one I love wearing to bed. Unfortunately the longevity is lacking. It's one of those fragrance mists that I wear at home for myself because nobody else can smell it from a distance.

I wish they made this in full size body care in every Bath and Body Works! It’s an absolutely delicious marshmallow scent that is perfect for spring.

Floral marshmallow scent. Very light and fresh, perfect for spring. I would not be mad if they brought this scent back.

The notes according to Bath and Body Works are whipped marshmallow, pastel clouds, and sweet daffodil. It's airy, fluffy and sweet but at the same time fresh and floral. No fruitiness whatsoever. Bath and Body Works does marshmallow fragrance notes really well. I don't own anything close to this in my collection. Unfortunately the longevity and projection are weak as hell lol. I wish I could layer this with a body lotion/cream to make it last longer but the company for some reason decided to only release full-sized bodycare in a handful of "test" stores (not even available online) while the majority of stores got travel sized mists which is ridiculous. They really dropped the ball on this.

My opinion is an unpopular one lol i just don’t care for this. To my nose it’s marshmallow and Windex. Just doesn’t mix well with my body chemistry. I really wish I smelled what others do.

The notes are: Daffodil, Marshmallow, Pastel clouds. The opening is a bakery scent like graham cookies, similar to Blueberry Sugar Pancakes (minus the blueberry), but the rest of the scent is a sunny floral slightly sour blend reminiscent of Forever Sunshine, but a lot less sour. I detect a slightly grassy green note in the opening, very very aldehydic like fresh spring air, it's the "pastel clouds" note (same vein as the aldehydic boss Nuit), along with the bakery scent and the sprayer smells rather ozonic, but the opening is definitely gourmand. It's a weird, unexpected combination at first, but at the drydown when both floral and baked notes are blended into one, it really makes sense and the projection is great, it overpowered all the other mists I tried on myself. It is long lasting on me and the aldehyde side of the scent comes forth more intensely later on. The sweetness remains and accompanies the floral notes like a bouquet of flowers decorating a peach pie on a picnic day in the clean air of the countryside. Imagine the bakery version of Forever Sunshine or Endless Weekend, but a lot less sour than these two as they are both very sour to me which I never liked, but Daffodil Daydreams is just perfect and the colors match it as it has a strong green base (at first it even reminded me of the green and nutty essence of Sleigh Rides & snuggles, but of course they are different scents). The perfect happy, sweet, sunny scent for the transition into spring from the cold winter. I am an April (7th) Aries so anything that screams spring time, crisp air carrying the aroma of bush flowers and dessert under the sun cheers me up! I don't smell marshmallow, but more of a pie crust scent as I said.

The main note from this is the marshmallow, you get a blast of vanilla marshmallow like the one in “marshmallow pumpkin latte” but with no fall spices. Mixed in with the marshmallow is a fruity note-I’m maybe getting currant or some pink berry-strawberry or raspberry? It’s basically a bright fluffy vanilla marshmallow and fruity note with a very very vague “other” note. I still haven’t been able to place what it could be, it’s definitely daffodil or “narcissisus” flower but I also detect some buttery note in here too. I think it’s some kind of cookie or bread note. Overall the effect is some yellow vanilla cake frosted with marshmallow buttercream, berries, and florals. I like it a lot, more gourmand than I thought it would be from the notes. I like that I mostly get the buttery vanilla marshmallow+fruit when I spray it directly on my arm.

Rant: I know this had to be good because I wanted to get this for my free bday gift and they were sold out. Also why only give this to select stores and have only a few stores have the full sized bottle? What is Bath and body works on atm? If they are going to put out a scent, it needs to be for every store in all the varieties they made for it. This new behavior is giving Bath and Body works will close soon or something.

Still waiting on re release of Daffodil Fields!! Lovely super soapy floral. Narcisuss flower from around 2001 bath body works.... Daffodil dreams is more candy like..

It smells like green jellybeans to me or a green lollipop with flowers 🍬 with a subtle hint of marshmallow 🍡 and floral bouquet notes 🌸.
