Dark Kiss Eau de Parfum

Sweet, fruity, vanilla, warm/amber, smoky, rose, balsamic, powdery, musky, Feminine, chic, Sensual, seductive, sexy, sophisticated, deep, dark, rich, luscious, Sultry, mysterious, magical , enchanting, bewitching, alluring, tempting, intoxicating, addictive, intriguing, inviting, cozy, comforting, unique On me this opens with sweet and juicy black raspberry, jammy and dark plum, smoky incense, and a whisper of bright bergamot. As it begins drying down the top notes are joined by warm golden amber, velvety rose, lush peony, and a touch of sweet geranium. Once it’s dried down it gains sensual vanilla, soft musk, and rich balsamic resin. The deep dry down reads sort of like juicy berry sweet tarts which just very vaguely reminds me of GdT Celeste (one of my top favorites) as to me Celeste reads like violet and vanilla sweet tarts, it’s very fairy dust-y and fairy-like imo. This is quite complex and sophisticated, especially for BBW. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge BBW fan, and really enjoy their fragrances. However, this is something that’s on the more unique side, which I also love. Dark Kiss has a good bit of depth to it, which is nice in tis sort of a scent. I think the scent does have a deep purple feel to it. Definitely a fall and winter fragrance, but works during the cooler/colder weather of early spring too. For reference, some of my other favorite mists and BBW fragrances include Ellis Brooklyn Marshmallows, Sand, Phlur Heavy Cream, Vanilla Nectar, Beach Skin, Cashmere Skin, SDJ Summer è Amor, 62, 39, 40, VS Vanilla Lace, Glitter Hustle, BBW Beach Nights, Boardwalk Marshmallow Clouds, Whipped Honey & Vanilla, Fireside Flurries, Frosted Snowdrop, Frosted Wonderland, Vanilla Bean Noel, Coco Paradise, Oahu Coconut Sunset, At the Beach *I also wanted to mention that my bottle is from some years back if it matters. I also own the body care products, and get the best performance when using them together.

A true GEM from BBW. I’m addicted to Dark Kiss. I love it more than many designer and niche perfumes, and I have a LOT. DK is not the run of the mill berry vanilla scent. (Watch out for the coming running sentence 😂) DK is deep, dark, resinous, mature, luscious, seductive, juicy, unique, bewitching, edgy, alluring...... I can go all day long really. I love it so much. I have the wash, lotion, FFM, EDT and EDP! Yes it’s full of very sweet dark berries and vanilla but the resins, incense and labdanum elevate it to just another level, so mysterious and intriguing. It starts with passionately strong resinous plummy berries and ends with warmly seductive, edgy but still smooth and creamy musk and vetiver. I think the plum here is more dark and juicy than the tangy and yellow mirabelle variety. I wear it for date nights at home and spray my clothes with it whenever I’m wearing La Nuit Tresor, Euphoria or even good old Poison. The name and color are spot on. The performance is amazing; the lotion and mist will last 6-8 hours (especially the older narrow waisted. bottles). I keep smiling all day whenever I catch a whiff of it, which makes me sometimes wonder why I keep bothering with hundreds other perfumes. This is so me 💕💕💕💕

It's just...intoxicating. I won't argue that this smells "more expensive than it is", or that it's necessarily "like a designer perfume", because it kind of isn't. But that's fine. This smells like 2006 Hot Topic. It's shamelessly emo, and somehow the cheap plum alongside the obviously *not* natural incense notes, when paired with a sweet neo-amber (the older entry lists amber, and I feel like that is more correct, although I feel that this one is right in saying the fruit is plum, and not blackberry) is just glorious. It makes me want to wear black fingerless gloves, fishnets under destroyed jeans, cut my hair and dye it black&purple, and go see My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, or Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. I'm really happy they're bringing this one back. It is among my favorites from BBW, which also include Secret Wonderland, Wild Madagascar Vanilla, and Velvet Sugar. This one has a nice rich aroma; incensy but still sweet. Now, does anyone know when it will be available in stores or online? I just looked online and didn't see it.

I LOVE it. For me its Heaven. The longivity and sillage are awesome . I spray it twice on my wrist and i keep sniffing it for the holl day. Vanilla, blackberry, and ros are so deliciois and mystery which is enough for me to have it as an extremely perfect match for my personality. It is the most successful of BBW.

this was my guilty pleasure in my teen years, it can be almost sickly sweet combined with the berry notes but the florals tone it done as it dries off. there's something magical and bewitching about it, it always felt very princess-like to me.

My favourite perfume from Bath & Body Works

I was haunted by this perfume for 2 weeks since I sprayed it on my shirt just for fun. Since then, its smell is stuck in my car and on my bag. even i wear another perfume, i can smell faint blackberry vanilla incense. I guess this one is a success for the brand cuz This perfume has grown on me and I just bought it to my collection. It's juicy fruity vanilla incense and scream DARK to me (Yeah, the name scream it too lol) I got strong bergamot in the opening then mainly blackberry, incense and vanilla. it's VERY LONG LASTING and heavy. 100% Night fragrance but i wear it all day lol

This is a review for the body mist. I must have received an old/expired product because all I can smell is a very very faint plum smell with a little bit of vanilla and that's it. If not, this is just a weak fragrance.

Very cool that B&BW is listening to fans and bringing back fan favorites and older, popular scents. Would love to seen this done with more discontinued scents! Specifically Magnolia Blossom, Lavender Flowers and Charmed Life. The first two going WAY back :). Dark Kiss is a fruity gourmand that reminds me of Britney's Midnight Fantasy, but definitely "darker". I definitely get the resins in this one! This is normally one of my favorite scent types - a berry gourmand with amber, but Dark Kiss goes a little too NyQuil-ish on me, unfortunately. Though I didn't have much luck with Dark Kiss in body care form I will definitely give the EDP a go in the hopes that it will work better with my chemistry.

I love this scent. It's sweet, yummy and Gourmand. I think it smells a lot like Pleasures Delight(Estee Lauder), and P.D. lasts longer and Fireworks body fantasies spray. I just wish BBW would stop discontinuing their best sellers, and improve scent longevity, since it's supposed to be a perfume.

I've been wondering about this so I sent an inquiry to BBW asking where it was and when would it be out. They replied that they have " no current plans to release this in an EDP version." What they have available in this scent is online. What the heck?

Glad they're bringing this one back! It was always one of my favorites. Very different from the usual BBW scents. It's a richer, darker, better (imo) verson of Midnight Fantasy. And the perfect scent for cool, overcast autumn days!

Doesn't smell like incense at all..... got it as a gift, don't like it. It's sweet, but not cheap smelling. I spray it in the air before I go to bed sometimes. The scent is somewhat heavy, gives me a headache if I spray too much.

I'm glad BBW is relaunching this frag. It was one of my favorites and I always got compliments when I wore it. Can't wait to pick up some more of this in the stores!

Does this smell different that the original Dark Kiss perfume? I loved that scent and I'm so disappointed that bath and body works discontinued it :(

If you've still got any discontinued Forever Midnight from BBW, this layers beautifully with it. Cuts that medicinal note in Dark Kiss.

Okay, has ANYONE living in the US seen this yet? I'd love to get a bottle, no matter the price!!!
