Deep Ocean

I don't know why the actual fragrance "cologne" isn't on here but I can vouch for the two reviews directly below. The Deep Ocean EDP released by Bath & Body Works is a very nice blue shower gel scent but with a much darker and richer tone than the original Ocean which doesn't even come close to the same quality. It even got its own bottle design and yes it has a solid atomizer. It almost reminds me of Azzaro The Most Wanted EDP (not the more recent EDT) but done in a dark and ambery blue shower gel kind of way and geared for mild to cooler weather because of an added sweetness. I love this stuff. Figures it's already been discontinued, it seems like it wasn't even out 6 months and poof, it's gone from their site, and it's one of the better men's scents they've done. Same with their Freshwater fragrance which was one of the absolute best versions of the Acqua Di Gio scent profile I have ever smelled, even better than the original. That stuff was so good! They need to bring these back now!

Got a 100ml on sale for $10 since it’s being discontinued as a father’s day gift, then one for myself. Honestly really impressed by this one. I really don’t care for aquatic scents, but this one has a freshness to it that is quite nice. Much better scent than Freshwater, which comes off way too oceanic. This has an almost shower gel touch, with enough of an aquatic element to still have its name match the type of scent you are getting. The “sea salt air” note, as they call it, gives it a nice sparkle that brightens up the scent. There was no mention of what concentration this one is on any of the packaging. It’s being marketed as a cologne, but I’d imagine you are getting at least EDT concentration because it sits on the skin for a good amount of time, you’re probably getting at least 4 hours on this one.

this is one of the few scents I took a gamble on and won. being in such a humid hellscape such as Florida, Spring/Summer Scents are a must and I would often wear D&G Light Blue as a Daily Driver while walking around and checking random scents in a Bath and body works, searching for a gift for mothers day I started to look around to the men's section and found a 0.15 oz bottle of this for like 15 bucks, i went fuck it and bought it to give it a try and wow, this blew me away, it starts strong yet not as synthetic, the marine scent hits you first, slightly faring up the nostrils and opening up the pores to prepare you as the woody notes from the cedar and oakmoss settle in during dry down im sad they discontinued this but im definetly keeping an eye out on ebay to snag a full bottle.

Huh.. Now this stuff smells very good. Not sure about the old man smell review below, but it's a better and richer scent than the played out Bath and Body Works Ocean. It's like a woody aquatic scent with much more push than your average BBW Cologne. I mean, the Deep Ocean cologne bottle even has what appears to be a pressurized sprayer. The scent too just hits. It's something you want to keep smelling. It's just a relaxing warm weather scent. It's not over the top wow, but just very good smelling stuff. Unfortunately, I think BBW may have discontinued it for the summer as it was just blown out during their semi annual sale. Best bet, if you can find it give it a sniff. You'll be surprised.

Rtiggs is correct, it blows boring nondescript Ocean away.
