Dream Bright

Very long lasting for a Bath and Body Works fragrance. Super sexy and has a nice deep note to it!

For those of you who still haven’t tried this new fragrance from Bath & Body Works, I highly recommend it. It’s so dark yet soft and dreamy, and it has a fantastic musky vanilla dry down. It’s also bigger than most of the perfumes that Bath & Body Works offers (3.4 fl oz versus 1.7 fl oz) and is so worth it. It has definite berry notes in the opening, but more of a tart autumn berry than a ripe, bright summer berry. The middle note is “night-blooming orchid,” and although I haven’t had the pleasure of smelling many other orchid scents, I have to believe that this one has that note in spades, just due to the shy, delicate floral notes once the berries fade a little bit. The bottom note is a deep, rich vanilla that stays for hours. Some people have said that there’s a note of patchouli as well, and I can see that, however I wouldn’t say it’s predominant in any way. On me, the EDP lasts all day and then some. The silage is moderate, but it’s definitely not a skin scent. It’s such a beautiful, untraditionally cozy scent that I am so glad I took a chance on. As I said before, this one is definitely worth having in your collection.

Someone I know (platonic, so read this next rant with detachment) left this scent at my home presumably by accident and I must say, when I think "slutty" I think Dream Bright. I don't get that vibe with jasmine or rose like other people seem to. It's darkness and berry that makes a perfume undeniably horny. Don't get me wrong, I can't say I get, like, aroused at the idea of someone wearing this, especially since the person who left it and thus is my association for it is not really a looker. This is horny though. Like, if smells could fuck this one would have fucked half the town. I hope I'm making sense. Not my thing, I'm a grown man and quite chaste, but it's undeniably a good scent.

Core memory unlocked. I have Dream Bright eau de parfum, the body mist, body lotion, and shower gel. I've spent a while trying to figure out what it reminded me of. Do you fellow 90s kids remember the L'Oreal Kids "no tears" shampoos? Dream Bright is a spot on scent for those shampoos. I can literally close my eyes and be transported back to 1999. It's 1999, I'm taking a bath, and I'm washing my hair with L'Oreal Kids shampoo in those colorful bottles. Yep, this scent takes me back. That is exactly what Dream Bright smells like.

A lot of people compare this to Dark Kiss and Into the Night but I actually don’t find it similar to those two at all. It’s much more fruity and sweet. To me, it actually reminds me of Forever Red. Except instead of pomegranate, it’s juicy red berries. But the same fruity sweetness with a vanilla/woody base. The color of the bottle is royal blue but I see deep ruby, almost blood-red, when I smell it.

I really like this! Not surprised because I love most anything with orchid or berries and vanilla is a plus! Bought the lotion, went back and got another. May go back and get the body spray even though I don’t normally buy body sprays! Edit: no body spray left in my area! Sad. I hope they bring this back!

Love this one! Perfect for the holidays/winter. Kind of has that “sparkly” smell to it like into the night. But it’s more feminine. It lasts a whole day on me, even just the body spray. It’s just a deep, happy smell! Has a fresh quality to it that smells clean and bright.
