Forever Red

This feels like a smooth pomegranate wine! Very red, very boozy and smooth almost like you could drink it from the bottle itself ! Love at first sniff for me 😍 On the first spray you get that burst of bright, juicy pomegranate right at the opening. The pomegranate here is juicy + sweet not sour. It's really well blended with the vanilla rum note. The vanilla rum makes this fragrance smell sexy, gives such a normal fruity fragrance that oomph touch here. The oak wood note here binds the fragrance altogether, it does not smell woody but definitely it helps with the longevity. I don't detect much of the red peony of any floral notes here particularly. So to simplify the fragrance it's a fruity boozy scent. It's sultry and mature , definitely a date night appropriate fragrance. You have to wear a tight red dress with red lipstick if you are wearing this mist. The bottle is very apt to its name. Coming to the projection, it's on the medium strength, does not fill out the entire room. Longevity is quite terrible, it mostly stays as a lingering scent. With the matching lotion i think it will perform a little bit better. The mist is pretty fine on its own but i feel like to make you smell irresistible you need to layer it with a stronger perfume. It's such a shame that such a beautiful scent has such poor lasting power.

When I saw this come back, I had to purchase myself a mist and body cream for nostalgia’s sake :) This 2024 relaunch smells pretty darn similar to how I remember the original cream and perfume smelling, and it’s delightful! It opens with a blast of tart pomegranate, and as the tartness settles, the warm vanilla rum and woody notes start to shine. The pomegranate stays around, just as a less tart, more sweet/candy like pomegranate. On dry down, the peony compliments the pomegranate and vanilla rum and adds a soft, sophisticated, perfume-y element. The body cream is equally as amazing and adds a lot of longevity when the mist is layered on top :) This scent balances girly sweetness and fruity pomegranate with the more sophisticated notes of the peony and vanilla rum making it a super gorgeous and unique scent. I love this scent so much! I’m definitely going to be wearing it for the rest of fall and into winter :)

Every time my mom wore this scent I would always ask her what she was wearing because it smelled so good on her. I was so happy to see bath & body works bring this back so I can finally buy myself a set! I even bought the whole set for my mom for Christmas since this is her favorite. This is your basic fruity scent but there is something in this one that makes it different from the rest. I get that gorgeous juicy pomegranate with that vanilla rum which turns the pomegranate slighty boozy in the dry down and the red peony gives it that perfumey vibe to it. It's sweet, fruity and slighty warm all at the same time, i absolutely love it and will be wearing it alot this fall/winter. Longevity isn't too bad for a body spray, I get about 5 hours of wear before I have to reapply.

It was my first BBW ffm ♥️ Fell in love w it on the first sniff! My bottle was from 2021 or 2022 idr but I panned it the fastest out of my collection cuz it was so so addictive It is beautiful deep rich boozy fruity rose scent...starts off with real freshly squeezed pomegranate juice and rum...imagine a deep red cocktail🍷and then comes the dark red rose, it's neither fresh nor too sweet, the rose is perfectly deep dark almost maroon combined with the pomegranate rum yk? There's some vanilla and woody aspects in the bg just to round out the scent It didn't project much but formed a close scent bubble and lasted for 4 hours on me which is good enough for a ffm! Juicy, rich, deep, boozy, dark fruity rose with vanille that's perff for the dark feminine aesthetixx🫦💅🏻

Has been my go-to scent for YEARS. It just smells so good on my skin, and it's a quick grab-and-spray while I'm heading out the door type of perfume. Notes are very accurate. I would add red delicious apple skin to the mix, but that's just me and my nose. Now for the gripe. I have no idea why or what they did to this scent this year, but every new bottle I've smelled has been horrid! Oh god I hate it! All I get is alcohol and stank! Being more serious, there is now this ugly mildew scent that creeps out of the atomizer. None of the original notes are there. I could literally cry! I now have to hold my last 3-4 bottles of this near in case the scent never gets better.
