Forever Red

This feels like a smooth pomegranate wine! Very red, very boozy and smooth almost like you could drink it from the bottle itself ! Love at first sniff for me 😍 On the first spray you get that burst of bright, juicy pomegranate right at the opening. The pomegranate here is juicy + sweet not sour. It's really well blended with the vanilla rum note. The vanilla rum makes this fragrance smell sexy, gives such a normal fruity fragrance that oomph touch here. The oak wood note here binds the fragrance altogether, it does not smell woody but definitely it helps with the longevity. I don't detect much of the red peony of any floral notes here particularly. So to simplify the fragrance it's a fruity boozy scent. It's sultry and mature , definitely a date night appropriate fragrance. You have to wear a tight red dress with red lipstick if you are wearing this mist. The bottle is very apt to its name. Coming to the projection, it's on the medium strength, does not fill out the entire room. Longevity is quite terrible, it mostly stays as a lingering scent. With the matching lotion i think it will perform a little bit better. The mist is pretty fine on its own but i feel like to make you smell irresistible you need to layer it with a stronger perfume. It's such a shame that such a beautiful scent has such poor lasting power.

When I saw this come back, I had to purchase myself a mist and body cream for nostalgia’s sake :) This 2024 relaunch smells pretty darn similar to how I remember the original cream and perfume smelling, and it’s delightful! It opens with a blast of tart pomegranate, and as the tartness settles, the warm vanilla rum and woody notes start to shine. The pomegranate stays around, just as a less tart, more sweet/candy like pomegranate. On dry down, the peony compliments the pomegranate and vanilla rum and adds a soft, sophisticated, perfume-y element. The body cream is equally as amazing and adds a lot of longevity when the mist is layered on top :) This scent balances girly sweetness and fruity pomegranate with the more sophisticated notes of the peony and vanilla rum making it a super gorgeous and unique scent. I love this scent so much! I’m definitely going to be wearing it for the rest of fall and into winter :)

Every time my mom wore this scent I would always ask her what she was wearing because it smelled so good on her. I was so happy to see bath & body works bring this back so I can finally buy myself a set! I even bought the whole set for my mom for Christmas since this is her favorite. This is your basic fruity scent but there is something in this one that makes it different from the rest. I get that gorgeous juicy pomegranate with that vanilla rum which turns the pomegranate slighty boozy in the dry down and the red peony gives it that perfumey vibe to it. It's sweet, fruity and slighty warm all at the same time, i absolutely love it and will be wearing it alot this fall/winter. Longevity isn't too bad for a body spray, I get about 5 hours of wear before I have to reapply.

It was my first BBW ffm ♥️ Fell in love w it on the first sniff! My bottle was from 2021 or 2022 idr but I panned it the fastest out of my collection cuz it was so so addictive It is beautiful deep rich boozy fruity rose scent...starts off with real freshly squeezed pomegranate juice and rum...imagine a deep red cocktail🍷and then comes the dark red rose, it's neither fresh nor too sweet, the rose is perfectly deep dark almost maroon combined with the pomegranate rum yk? There's some vanilla and woody aspects in the bg just to round out the scent It didn't project much but formed a close scent bubble and lasted for 4 hours on me which is good enough for a ffm! Juicy, rich, deep, boozy, dark fruity rose with vanille that's perff for the dark feminine aesthetixx🫦💅🏻

Has been my go-to scent for YEARS. It just smells so good on my skin, and it's a quick grab-and-spray while I'm heading out the door type of perfume. Notes are very accurate. I would add red delicious apple skin to the mix, but that's just me and my nose. Now for the gripe. I have no idea why or what they did to this scent this year, but every new bottle I've smelled has been horrid! Oh god I hate it! All I get is alcohol and stank! Being more serious, there is now this ugly mildew scent that creeps out of the atomizer. None of the original notes are there. I could literally cry! I now have to hold my last 3-4 bottles of this near in case the scent never gets better.

Love at first sniff, this has been my most coveted fragrance—allure, intoxication, she has it all. It, regrettably, has been some time since I've had it (since before they changed the bottle), so I'm not aware if its current rendition lacks in what I miss most. I do know that much to my chagrin it's not a particularly long-lasting scent in my experience, landing in the low-to-mid range. On the positive side however, it makes me think of a sexy and playful vixen of a woman, and with the way I feel about this fragrance, she IS that woman; unattainable, enchanting, and gone in a flash, leaving your head spinning as you wonder who she was.

🫧 i have this scent and I absolutely love it. (ps I stole it from my mom a while ago lol) 🫧 it smells so sexy and sooo grown. - I definitely smell that pomegranate and vanilla. I also get a little floral in it. 🫧 the body mist lasts all day on me and I am a gourmand girlie but I am in love with this body mist lol. 🫧 i pair it with my Red Velvet Pink Sugar Aqoulina because it kinda makes the Pink Sugar not too sweet. - pink sugar is reallyyy sweet and this just warms it down a bit to make it a sweet warm fruity scent. 🫧 it smells really good and lasts all day and i hope that Bath and Body Works never discontinues it!

This is a really good one. Sweetened pomegranate, the slightest tartness, and a good shot of boozy vanilla. If I try, I can pick up some woody florals. But it's really all about the fruit and vanilla accord. I feel like it goes well during the day, for casual occasions as well as an evening out because it does have that sexy side to it. It doesn't last all day but it's so yummy I don't mind reapplying and it sits a bit closer to the skin so it never becomes too much. For a body spray, it's just about perfection for me. I use the body creme and shower gel with it to help with performance.

Forever Red smells like juicy red sour candy like juicy drop pops or fun dip powder. I'm obsessed with the pomegranate note combined with the vanilla and oak. I put it on before meeting my friend and she said "you smell so good! you smell like candy!" It lasts a decent time, but isn't overpoweringly strong. I love it for the fall and winter. It's tangy and sweet with a hint of whimsy and cozy wooded vibes. It makes me feel like a pretty young lady with a scarf and tall boots in the early 2010s. I am simply in love with it.

Re-upped during $4.95 body care, and got the set of this for the first time. This is FIRE! How come nobody told me?? It smells sooooo good! Boozy, fruity, very sweet. It smells delicious, but not in a gourmand type of way. Like a sugary cocktail type of sweet, but a little bit deep thanks to the oak. I love this. One of my new favorite body care sets! Layers great with fantasy, which it does smell a little bit like, not dupes, but complements.

This fragrance rocks with my body chemistry. The sweet fruity pomegranate note and the vanilla rum projects so much, even on my skin. The combination is perfect. It smells sexy, sophisticated, expensive, and irresistible. This one is hella compatible with me. I find myself catching whiffs of it even after a few hours. It's amazing. I'm glad I found this gem. 10/10 for this one.

This is my second favorite bath and body scent off all time and most of my boy friends love this scent even tho its not something really strong Its sweet floral(not in cheap smelling way) and fruity And i kanda think it smells like bubblegum

I have this in the old packaging in the tall rectangular bottle. This just smells soooo good!! Lots of vanilla,pomegranate and rum!!! One of my old faves!!! For a body must this one lasts!

This is a 80% dupe for Black Opium over red 🍒 If you have the original and this layer them. This smells like cherry coke cherry 🍒🥤

I'm specifically reviewing newer products in this fragrance, and thus bringing up points applicable to this newer listing here. I have good news about the newer bottles, and also bad news...though it's mostly bad. The bad news is that this is weaker than it used to be, and it's absolutely not my imagination. I've read other people complaining about it, and it's been mentioned on Youtube. This sadly seems to be the new norm for B&BW, as well as many other mainstream or designer brands lately. It evaporates more quickly, and it doesn't envelop you in as thick of a cloud as the older formulas did. The good news (if you can call that) is that it's retained it's integrity of scent, and doesn't seem like a different fragrance. It's still a slightly tart pomegranate, a plushy marshmallow (this listing doesn't include marshmallow, but the older one does), and vanillic rum. It's definitely not a heavy rum though, it's more like a playful take on the *idea* of rum than the actual spirit itself. So although you need to apply more, and ideally layer products, at least the fragrance itself is intact. I'm unsure why peony is listed so highly, I don't smell it in here at all and never have. This is fun, appealing and a true compliment getter, but I think it's overhyped a tad by B&BW fans and the store itself (why does this always cost more than other fragrances?!). Still, an easy grab and it's cozy 😊

I loved the EDP when it was available, it was rich in rum, marshmallow and pomegranate aroma. This one is prominently pomegranate / some unknown sour red berries / shy florals and a hint of vanillin and marshmallows; rum is there too but it’s rather on the background of the bright pomegranate. Such a lovely scent with a lot of potential, but again that poor longevity same as it was with the EDP. This is not sexy but rather festive. I wish they’ve brought back the perfume with improved staying power, that could be my true signature scent. Nevertheless, this is my around the house winter time scent, it smells festive, sweet and uplifting to me. Try it out to boost your mood and feel joy of simple things.

Forever Red is nice! It has a perfume-like quality to it--all while being a body mist. It has pretty good longevity and sillage. Today, I have this layered with Hugo Boss' Deep Red. Perfect combination for February. It's sweet, but sexy. Forever Red definitely brings out the best in Deep Red. I've worn Forever Red a couple times--each time layered with another fragrance. It works well complementing other scents, but I can tell that it can definitely stand on its own. The pomegranate is sultry, the red peony is cheerful, and the vanilla note rounds everything out and balances the fragrance. This is a safe blind, best suited for cold weather.

I don't smell much rum, oak, or vanilla on me, but to me, this is fruity and powdery almost. I think this smells like a nice bubble bath. I'm not the greatest fan of overly fruity or berry scents but this one balances it out with the other notes. To my nose, the B&BW DNA is always a little offensive, like fsr they all smell like cheap hand sanitizer and very childish (not as a result of the price, bc plenty of other cheap brands smell much more rich and pleasant than this). Forever Red is nice but it's not a love for me.

Just got this in the mail and right off the bat this smells almost identical to pink vanilla kiss by body fantasies but pvk has more of a Vanilla type of sweetness and forever red is more pomegranatey and more perfumey - like so if you can't get your hands on forever red get pink vanilla kiss cause there the exact same thing but I personally like forever red better, it's a perfect pomegranate scents that smells so good and sweet and like the person below me said it has a "sugary" type sweet smell.

Bought this because I wanted to have the faceted collection but honestly, at first I didn't like the smell with the initial spray, it reeked of alcohol like a rum maybe. I tried it again a few times and it's a good scent. You just have to wait until it sits on your clothes or on your skin. It has coconut-y feel to it.

It's nice but I wish the pomegranate note was more noticeable.

I had the EDP years ago, and sadly the current body spray is super different. I remember the perfume having deeper fruity notes and an almost peppery opening, but the body spray smells very flat. It's got the same essence, just different. Obvi dif concentrations r gonna smell different, this just is super different from the old one.

The scent is decent. It just sort of smells vaguely fruity on the opening- kind of lacks the freshness/tanginess to scream "pomegranate" to me. Dries down into a more of a fruity, sweet pinky floral. It's a very pleasant, youthful scent, but doesn't quite have the best projection for BBW fragrances,

I can’t speak to the perfume itself as I have the body wash- but it smelled soooo mild. What came to mind when using it was the word nothingburger lol. Generic but still pleasant fruitiness. I’ll have to give the actual spray a try and see if I feel differently.

It's got this fresh floral scent at first spray, but I get this plastic-y synthetic scent that just lingers. It settles into this fruity floral scent that I'm not really a fan of. Not for me.

a faint, slightly floral, apple shampoo scent. this really does smell like shampoo. it's the scent of suave professionals olive + avocado oil shampoo circa 2017.

I like the juiciness but there's a sour note to this that I couldn't stand, like a chalky, medicinal candy you receive on Christmas that you never end up finishing. I ended up giving it to a friend and the sour note disappeared on her skin. I'm wondering if my bottle ended up going a little off.

This review is for the 2024 version of the body cream and mist. The Forever Red body cream is a nice, thick texture. Very silky and moisturizing. The smell? It's fun, sexy, sophisticated. Tart, almost sour fruity pomegranate with that boozy rum, and the oak...the sweetness mixed with the oak almost reminds me of mulch chips, but not quite. It reminds me more of something I would expect from Victoria's Secret than BBW because it has that "date night" feel to it. The issue is I can't smell it unless I put my nose right up to my skin. It's a really enjoyable cream, but it's weakly scented, as are most of the body creams I have purchased from BBW this year. So keep that in mind if you like wearing these products as your personal fragrance. The Forever Red mist mainly smells like alcohol, then it fades after a half hour. I used to love the Forever Red that came out in 2012, and it gave happy memories of winter holidays. It was a warm, fruity, deliciously toasty wood and sweetness that was so perfect back then. Like a Christmas brunch cobbler spiced and with brandy. Mmm. wonderful. I was excited to see that BBW brought it back, but sadly it's just not the same. I mean, yes, it smells nice now, but it completely lacks the projection, longevity, and richness it originally had.

So first I got this online and it smelled like straight up peony. I was like there’s no way everyone is hyping this up! I reached out to customer service and they sent me a new bottle for free, so, awesome customer service. When I got my new bottle the first one I received was indeed a dud because they smell different. Anyway. This is a sophisticated, classy perfumey scent that reminds me of cherry Coca Cola. It’s like candy, but not straight up pure gourmand. It’s a perfumey candy. It’s a beautiful mix of pomegranate (cherry scent I’m getting) & the peony gives a beautiful freshness to it. You can wear this 100%, any occasion. 🍒 I’m really looking forward to buying the body cream in this scent, I think it’ll be a gorgeous fragrance to pair with almost anything. Bare vanilla, strawberry pound cake, fairytale, dahlia!!

I have the lotion. I got this because it was in the three dollar bin, and I was nearly out of lotion for the fall. I regret this immensely. The sour bit on the scent pyramid thing? All I get. The pomegranate and peony do something evil in the back of my throat that I dislike, but I’ve been using it as best as I can. Don’t want to waste it.

When Forever Red was first released it had warmth,strength,and longevity. The current version lacks all of these virtues. Now all I detect is an odd marshmallow/wood scent that is barely detectable. If you really want to sample this scent,wait for a sale. It's not worth $17 to me.
