Fresh Vanilla Blossoms

Sandalwood overload that actually smells divine, YES! Dreamy, clean, fresh not warm, sweet, pure and sexy, the bottle's colors are right on, total match to the scent. Very Montana 80 type of sandalwood, I love that part and the body cream smells even better than the mist as it is not intensely sour, just beautifully milky woody vanilla floral bliss, while the mist has some sour note developing at the drydown (some vanilla perfumes have this sourness) which of course smooths out eventually, but the body cream's scent is a dream, the stuff that I go crazy for, not far from the mist's scent. Ozonic almost coconutty, cotton-clean vanilla, soft citrus element, very milky and fresh scent, and even from the sprayer it's like a more floral high-pitched sweeter Fresh Coconut & Cotton, same vein. Due to the intense woody base, I consider Fresh Vanilla Blossoms in the same category as Sublime Ulric de Varens, "my piano polish perfume", as Sublime smells identical to a furniture polish product I used on my piano back in Europe in the 80s lol. Subsequently, Pour Femme D&G is in this league. They are not the same as Fresh Vanilla Blossoms of course, just same woody, vanilla-citrusy family with intense sandalwood that is not obnoxious like pencil shavings as it is in Sensuous Nude which I don't like. They all have that vanilla-citrus combo on a woody base, but these are very powdery, nauseating and mandarin-based, and lack the cotton-like floral freshness of Fresh Vanilla Blossoms thus they were always headache-inducing to me. Fresh Vanilla Blossoms is way better than these as it has a beautiful fresh ozonic floral essence kinda like Pure Wonder's, only less white floral than Pure Wonder (no jasmine), where Pure Wonder may smell like detergent to some people, this does not (Pure Wonder is my new go-to signature skin-scent after Kaleidoscope so I love it, but it does give floral detergent at times). I bought about 10 body creams of Fresh Vanilla Blossoms and I hope they bring this scent back again and in lotion. So more on the scent. The opening was odd at first, smells kinda like almond and vanilla, amazing to me, not like the heavy warm edible kinda sour vanilla-caramel of Vanilla Bean Noel (or Jessica's Fancy vanilla-caramel) or Pumpkin Cupcake (which smells close to Vanilla Bean Noel nowadays), I'm not crazy about warm vanilla scents. It is a milky fresh type of vanilla here and the sour element develops later on. The sandalwood is intense like I said which gives the scent its unique character as if I smell real wood. I also get that "fresh" note reminiscent of the "Fresh Coconut and Cotton" mist, I suppose they share a note..(?) hence why they named this "fresh" too (?) giving the feeling of white clean sheets, cotton and freshness. Who knows, but the "Fresh Coconut and Cotton" vibe here stays strong (to my nose at least), without actual coconut scent in your face as in Fresh Coconut & Cotton. It's a fresh cotton-like smell in the background and then the rest of the scent's character/composition reminds me of Pure Wonder with intense vanilla and sandalwood, like you're actually walking into a furniture store, it has a beautiful milky and woody freshness that has the right amount of sweetness. It has the same ozonic floral vibe as Pure Wonder, but vanilla-based and the drydown of this one becomes a bit sour, not crazy about the sour part, but it's a gorgeous scent that to me beats any high-end perfume. It's more wearable than Montana 80's woody mess that I kinda liked, but had to let go as I am prone to nausea. It is more wearable than the Sublime - Pour Femme clan, perfecting this clean vanilla-woody vein and taking it a step further away from harsh or overwhelming powdery notes. I like all of its stages and the peculiar Vanilla-"Fresh Coconut/Cotton" opening. It's like they married Pure Wonder with Fresh Coconut Cotton and added vanilla & a truckload of fresh-cut wood to the mix haha. It's a LOVE and it lasts on me like a perfume. People complain that BBW does not release good scents anymore, I disagree. I acquired some new favorites the past 2 years.

Sweet, vanilla, floral, woody, powdery, fluffy, feminine, romantic, sensual, flirty, charming, whimsical, dreamy, delightful, tempting, inviting, cozy, comforting First, I’ve heard that this will be returning before the end of the year, so definitely keep an eye out! I get something that’s coming across as slightly tart and fruity (maybe pear?), especially in the opening. I also get something like sweet and fluffy marshmallows, which I really adore! I definitely get the powdery vanilla bean, soft and sueded flower petals (tuberose and violet?), and creamy sandalwood. There’s something giving this a slightly bubblegum scent too, probably tuberose if I had to guess. There’s also this fresh quality to it, so it goes lovely with the powdery and fluffy marshmallow scent that I get. Once it’s dried down I also get a little bit of a caramel scent which is adding a sweet creaminess. This is such an easy reach, and suitable for the whole year. It’s just this effortlessly pretty scent. I can see why some people would like it as a bedtime scent, although I prefer the Aromatherapy Sleep line for that, especially Warm Milk & Honey and Honey Vanilla Dream. It has this cozy and comforting quality to it that makes it super dreamy. It works great for the daytime too, and seems like it’s rather crowd pleasing. I think the closest perfume to this that I’ve come across so far is Nest Golden Nectar. I’m also seeing a similarity to SDJ 59 which makes sense considering it has vanilla and sandalwood, as well as a violet note too. I’m surprised to say that I can see a slight similarity to Kayali Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar (they pair super nicely together), but in a softer, less rich, and less deep way. I also think it’s giving a slight similarity to JHAG Powder Love. I get a slight similarity to Chasing Fireflies too, I’m thinking maybe both have pear in them. I saw VS Glitter Hustle listed in the reminds me section too, but wanted to say that I don’t really get a resemblance there as that’s much more of a prominent caramel vanilla scent. I have this in the mist, body cream, and shower gel, so I get really good performance from using the 3 together. The longevity is decent, about 6-7 hours on me. The projection is nice, it radiates out a couple feet from me. For reference, some of my other favorites from B&BW include Coco Paradise, Oahu Coconut Sunset, At the Beach, Beach Nights, Boardwalk Marshmallow Clouds, Forever Sunshine, Cashmere Glow, Whipped Honey & Vanilla, Aspen Caramel Woods, Fireside Flurries, Bonfire Bash, Frosted Snowdrop, Frosted Wonderland, Cozy Vanilla Bourbon, Vanilla Romance, Pistachio Glaze, Cotton Candy Clouds, Almond Blossom

this is nice, but it's not what i was expecting totally. the florals are initially quite sharp, but on the dry down, the vanilla and sandalwood come out more while the florals soften but still remain very present. it's a very simple scent that initially just smells like freshly laundered clothing with some additional sweetness, but it's definitely cozy and comforting nonetheless. florals are hit and miss for me and i usually don't enjoy fresh/clean/laundry scents, but this has enough vanilla sweetness for me to enjoy it. it's not the weakest scent from bbw, but it's definitely no performance beast either--it's got about average longevity but the sillage is pretty minimal so this would be a great everyday fragrance for school/work. edit: tried giving this another wear in warmer weather and this has bumped up from a like to a love for me! the opening is still a bit sharp and i feel like that's when you get most of the non-vanilla notes (suede, florals, sandalwood), but it doesn't feel as laundry-ish to me anymore. but the dry down is where it's at, especially on skin! the vanilla comes out more and the other notes soften. when i wore it before, i only wore fragrance on my clothes to get better longevity, but this is definitely a scent that is best on skin, at least for me.

i got the mini sized mist very recently and i like it a lot 🥰🥰. i was deciding between this and cozy vanilla bourbon and while i liked how that smelled, i ended up picking this one cuz it reminded me of something, i just couldn't remember what until i got home lol. fresh vanilla blossoms kinda reminds me of kaleidoscope (a retired bbw scent that i miss so bad😭😭). the main similarities to my nose is the sweet floral notes and the woodiness but kaleidoscope doesn't have the vanilla bean note. kaleidoscope also has a pink pepper note that's obvi not in fresh vanilla blossoms. i sprayed one on each hand and idk if i'm crazy or what but they smell so similar. i don't wanna call them dupes tho lol. anyways i can see myself using this year round since its such a sweet clean scent. might have to get the lotion next time there's a sale or something.

Can't stop reaching for this one. I read about it online and picked up a travel size. Fell in love with it. Picked up the body cream and shower gel at the $5.95 sale. The only perfume it reminds me of so far is Coty Vanilla Musk. Not exactly the same but the vanilla is the same type...at least to my nose. I'm sure other people may not agree and that's fine. Everyone's noses smell differently. Lol To me this is an airy floral Vanilla. I'm thinking the sandalwood with the floral gives it the unique take on Vanilla. It's not very sweet either, which is nice. I happen to love all types of Vanilla scents so if you do as well, you might just like this too. Longevity and projection are not great but using the lotion helps with that.

I went online to buy a few more of these. The initial spray is strong smelling, a little bit of a “zingy” feel to the nose which Is that “warm spicy” note I think but it’s only for a second. The floral comes out in the first spray as well but it’s still mainly a fresh vanilla. It’s a unique scent for sure when first sprayed. It then sits on the skin and goes to a pleasantly cute vanilla, not gourmand or anything sickly. The dry down is what really made me go hunt for this again. It smells like doll skin, like that sweet marshmallow and slightly cosmetic scent. I literally smell like a vanilla doll. It’s far from an overwhelming smell, yet it stays on the skin for a long time. It’s very unique!

One of my favorites from B&BW! One of the fragrances that I actually bought the body mist, body lotion, and shower gel in! Fresh Vanilla Blossoms is just such a beautiful vanilla! The vanilla is soft and sweet with a lovely subtle floral scent, and a slightly woody and creamy scent from the sandalwood! It’s a gorgeous fragrance on its own, but also easily pairs well with other fragrances! I typically get great longevity with my fragrances (even body mists!), and Fresh Vanilla Blossoms is no exception... it lasts all day on me! The projection is nice too, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me.

To my nose, this is a very fresh, beautiful fragrance mist that smells like iris or violet -even though those notes aren’t listed- because I detect a prominent “makeup” or lipstick smell and the vanilla note, to my nose, comes off as more of a “creamy” note (maybe the sandalwood?? Or maybe the “sueded petals” note is most definitely suede-ing?) So definitely not a gourmand vanilla, but either way this is a very very beautiful scent!! I can almost see where the comparisons to Kaleidoscope are coming from. If you like “lipstick” or “makeup” smells, I think you’ll love this (:

I bought both this and Cozy Vanilla Bourbon. Initially, I thought that this will be floral-vanilla when people said "fresh". But to me it smells like clean laundry/soap kind of fresh. It does not last long on my skin but I bet it will last longer on clothes. It's sweet in a sense of candy and not vanilla, not too sweet though. Maybe a 4/10 on the sweetness level. Although considering the usual weather in my place, this is perfect mix of sweet and fresh that it is not offensive. This will be something you would spray if you're just running around doing errands.

When this and Cozy Vanilla Bourbon dropped, I genuinely thought I would love Cozy Vanilla Bourbon more, but Fresh Vanilla Blossoms has become one of my new favorite scents from Bath & Body Works. It's a lovely, sweet, candy-like scent. I seriously cannot get enough. Don't get me wrong, Cozy Vanilla Bourbon is an incredible scent too, but I prefer & reach for this one more! Whenever you use fragrance mist, just make sure to douse yourself in it and the scent will last a lot longer on you. It's even better if you pair this with the matching lotion.

At first I hated it tbh, but after trying it for weeks, it has become one of my favorites. It's SO good! It's definitely a different vanilla. It's not warm, not cozy, not edible, not gourmand. It's fresh, cute, clean. I absolutely love to use it during the day, specially when it's hot. I never thought I could use a vanilla during hot days until I discovered this scent. Love the mist, love the cream. It's also not that light in comparison to other BBW mists. This one is definitely moderate

Like many others below my first impression of this scent was very poor. I just went back to re-smell this and believe me when I say you have to let it actually "blossom" into its true scent! Its very gorgeous! Its does start off like a plasticky, almost cheap lipstick smell then it becomes this beautiful vanilla and pink floral scent! a new favorite, dare I say I like this better than I like Vanilla Bourbon???

This quickly became my all-time favorite scent from bbw. I get a very sweet vanilla with a soft velvety floral note. I also get a slightly warm spicy scent which I love (I'm not sure if that's coming from the sandalwood because I'm not experienced with that scent note). It's just perfect and I think this would work year round and makes a great signature fragrance.

This scent is very nice, office safe, and perfect everyday wear!! Its honestly kinda laundry like, but the vanilla sandalwood adds some smooth sweetness to it. I love it, it's a perfect non cloying vanilla that you can wear in pretty much any weather! Havent found a perfume i love to pair with it yet, but its an easy reach by itsself if you want something light!

This is a delicious, almost bubblegummy/gummy candy textured fragrance, I'm guessing there's some tuberose in here, but it's not cloying, it's a super unique vanilla from the brand, many others have this smoky quality, or have a buttery accord to them, but this is as bright and happy and clean as it can get, 10/10 my favorite vanilla body mist ever

This has quickly become my favourite vanilla body spray! Smells really nice and fresh but not overly floral, like marshmallows. I will definitely be wearing this a lot layered with my vanilla perfumes and just to run errands. Longevity isn’t great on skin but better on clothes. I hope they consider making an EDP of this!

I absolutely adore this scent. So sad it was discontinued and I can’t find a similar scent anywhere! People say Burberry goddess however I have that perfume and maybe they’re in the same family, but not enough to be a substitute. Please let me know if you’ve found something close!

The opening smells like those Chinese incense ewww , probably that sandalwood urghh but the drydown is so good creamy vanilla milky ❣️🥵😋 I have the body cream btw not the perfume but well it's the same thing

I love Fresh Vanilla Blossoms. This is my favorite BBW release in over a year. It's a sweet inoffensive floral. I don't understand all the negative reviews that I see about this scent.

This is a love for me. Smells so good! Sweet, vanilla, sandalwood, somehow feels a bit fresh. Maybe a cousin to fresh coconut blossoms. I wear this with Clean Reseve Skin perfume.

To me, this is a very fruity vanilla scent. Like sweet poached pears with a vanilla sauce. Beautiful to layer the body cream with many of my fall perfumes. I love it!

wow i have quickly come to LOVE this. it reminds me of burberry brit in the dry down. beautiful vanilla sandalwood combo!

Mmmmmmm. My go to comfort smell.

This scent was a bit confusing for me at first. Just smelling this straight out of the bottle, I got a very strong woody & amber ish scent from it...almost to the point it was headache inducing. I tested a bit on my arm and instantly got more of that vanilla scent, however, none of that freshness i expected from the name and other reviews. I was really hesitant to try it out on my whole body, as woody notes are not my go to when reaching for scents . Regardless, I decided to give the mist and matching body cream a try recently and I was actually pleasantly surprised. On me, the freshness part is detected first & briefly before it settles into the sandalwood. After an hour or so, the vanilla takes over with hints of what I pick up as amber. I am glad I decided to give this scent a full wear test as it really had me thinking it was going to be a headache inducing mess. My only complaint would be that I wish I would get a stronger note of that floral freshness for longer, but that’s more of my personal preference. Overall, it is a layer-able scent I can see myself reaching for in the fall.

A nice, non-gourmand vanilla that is pleasant, yet very feminine! This vanilla is a warm-spicy floral that probably layers well with most any perfume. Today, I have it layered with Whitney Houston's fragrance. These two complement one another perfectly! To my nose, this is one of the better vanillas that Bath & Body Works has produced. So much better than the Wrapped in Vanilla fragrance that many people raved about! Fresh Vanilla Blossoms is similar to Juliette Has a Gun Vanilla Vibes, in that, it is a shower-fresh and clean vanilla. This is a safe blind buy for anyone who loves the smell of vanilla. I can't wait to layer it with Coty's Vanilla Fields!

It's pretty good. I actually smelled this back in Bath & Body Works 2023 when it came out but didn't pick it up. I got mine off of eBay recently because I wanted a milky/powdery scent that smells similar to 017 Crème Vanille(Mine says 017 Vanille Mouse on it, idk got it from Tjmaxx a week ago) from La Monde Gourmand. I think it can be worn during day and night. The vanilla bean to me smells like ice cream and would go well in cooler air. It's pretty light on me and doesn't last long.

It's exactly like the name. A Fresh vanilla. It has some sweetness though. I find it in the same realm as Vanilla by Body Fantasies. I prefer this one over Cozy Vanilla Bourbon, because the vanilla is much more prominent and sweeter here. It's sweet and powdery. The floral/fresh notes don't overtake the vanilla. Everything is equal and linear.

Very good but simple scent. Smells like marshmallows and i love it. Not very long-lasting but you get what you pay for. Good for summer days where you want something light and not heavy because it is a body mist not perfume!!! 7/10

This is such a beautiful floral vanilla! I think it's also pretty easy to pair with other perfumes and will smell really nice. It lasts a long time but not necessarily too strong. I even got a compliment on the scent!

Peasant fragrance that's an easy reach and inoffensive. I can't identify the florals. The combination of notes smell like sueded vanilla on me. Recommend if you like subtle flora vanilla and just want to smell nice.

A very light fragrance! Think a floral version of Skin by CLEAN

So Soft and fluffy, a perfect night scent, love it!

So at first spray this did come off as a soft, fresh vanilla with some kind powdery, indistinct floral impression. Then it got really sweet fast. But not vanilla or blossom sweet. Sweet to the point that someone said “smells like fruit in here!” in not a a particularly impressed way. Then the dry down was pure vanilla cigarillos. I can’t hate too much on a fragrance I bought for $4.95. But let’s just say that’s about what it’s worth.

I agree with @MiniMena I smelled it today in-store and Vanilla Fields and Vanilla Musk popped in my mind! It's not bad at all. I actually like it. However the initial spray was a little off putting. Bug spray-ish. May have been the sandalwood, but the dry down is nice.

It's a you love it or you hate it body mist, and for me i kinda like it sometimes because its smells like bullet lipsticks like the maybelline ones.

This surprisingly has that same sort of sour-ish note that both If You Musk and Kaleidoscope have, which unfortunately just isn’t my favorite

That ended up working for the rest of the decants I got but not this one (and thank goodness it's just a decant). The drydown, on the other hand... It's really gorgeous. I 100% smell the sandalwood and vanilla and it creates this beautiful, cozy, yet almost beachy vanilla (my mom says it's baby powder-y). I LOVE the drydown! But I can't stand the opening at all :( total dealbreaker for me unfortunately. I almost want to compare it to cozy season (soft lavender, golden honey, creamy oak?? I always thought it was sandalwood) as a similar creamy woody scent. They aren't identical, but I think cozy season is more likeable. I'd really love this as a bedtime scent if it weren't for the opening.

The "fresh" quality is definitely along the lines of a clean laundry kind of thing. I do get vanilla, but to me it is mostly a luxurious floral dryer sheet. It's a little off-putting on skin but I will at least use my spray to scent linens.

Maybe my nose is broken but the perfumes that is listed as being similar is NOT similar. Boardwalk Delight is not even remotely similar. This smells like Vanilla by Body Fantasies. Powdery (but in a dated way) with some vanilla. Perhaps I need to give this some more time or try layering but for now it is not giving.

I absolutely hate this , to me it smells sour. I love sandalwood and vanilla bean so it must be the flowers but It’s only listed as “flower notes” so I wonder what flower is making it smell sour.

Not a favorite for me. I love vanilla but the play dough note is a big turn off. Just did not work for me.

Smells almost identical to Golden Nectar by Nest, except this one is sweeter and has more vanilla. Powdery, sweet vanilla with a woodsy touch that brings the fresh to the vanilla blossoms, hence the name. For me it was a love from the first sniff and I had to grab the entire set immediately. It's an easy reach for any occasion, like going out or staying home on a lazy day. Pleasant and not headache inducing. Not sure why Cozy Vanilla Bourbon gets more hype. That one is a musky version of Warm Vanilla Sugar and imo is not that mind-blowing at all, although still pleasant. Fresh Vanilla Blossoms stands out because it's sweet yet fresh, which is not the most common combo to see. My only say is that they should've made the packaging different for both scents, it would've just made them visually stand out more from one another as they are a lot different from each other, in fact.

Actual notes : sueded petals , soft sandalwood , & fresh vanilla . I haven't gotten a chance to fully wear this with the lotion , but after spraying it repeatedly just from the day I bought it , it smells to me like .. rug cleaner ? or a freshly cleaned rug .. maybe some type of scented powder you would use to clean a rug .. I think its the suede & sandalwood notes . It also made me think of scented dryer sheets at one point . It's quite fresh in that way .. a tiny bit strange for a body fragrance , imo - but still workable & lovely if you want a fresh , clean , inoffensive vanilla scent . The vanilla note isnt very sweet in the mist . I'm hoping some sweetness comes through a bit more in the lotion / cream . I think this would be a go - to in the Spring time for me . A simple , barely there , not too sweet , fresh + clean , powdery , floral vanilla .

I thought I couldn't lose with these notes.... but no. The scent on me is more or less candle style. Strangely artificial Vanilla with some gentle florals and coconut, sweet but not appealing. I hope this is my chemistry rather than the scent, which has promise. I like it better than Vanilla Fields, but then that is nothing like this either. I don't dislike white vanilla or white florals or the overall intent of the scent. In fact, I LOVE white vanilla. Perhaps it is the 'fresh' aspect that didn't appeal? Normally my crew adore vanilla. Everyone with me disliked Fresh Vanilla Blossoms, however, and could smell it far better than expected for a body spray. At least I can say this: Sillage is good for the first hour! Meanwhile, don't let my experience keep you from testing a potential love. We are all different! <3

I like this one a lot but only in the mist version. The mist is a sweet, slightly powdery bubblegummy vanilla scent. Sweet but not gourmand. It lasts a long time on me and was still very strong on my sweatshirt the next day. I didn't like the body cream at all. It gave me acetone nail polish remover vibes when I first put it on which was a huge turn off. I waited, hoping it would fade into the delicious scent like the mist. It did calm down a bit but that nail polish remover note hung around. So I returned it.

This scent is absolutely beautiful! I picked it up in a travel size while standing in line and sprayed it on when I got in the car and instantly fell in love. It’s very soft, creamy, sweet, and has a playdoghyness to it but not in a bad way. I immediately went back and grabbed both the lotion and large size in the body spray and I plan to grab a second set in case this gets discontinued

This is so good and blended. It reminds me of something but I can’t pin point it. I was debating between getting this one and the cozy vanilla bourbon one but I hate smoky notes and prefer lighter fluffier vanilla so I went with this one and don’t regret it.

Does anyone know of a perfume or even another body mist that smells like this? I have most of the scents listed in the “this perfume reminds me of” section and I don’t think this smells even remotely close to any of them.
