Fruity Musk

The thing about this scent is that it’s not one I would think I’d like based on notes. For reference, I am a woody vanilla girl. I lean towards more vanilla sweet, warm sandalwood, skin like musky scents. Some deep gourmands, but not really a fan of fresh or fruity scents. I knew i’d like the musk vibe in this though because I love Warm Musk from this collection. But I did not think I’d love the fruit in this. When I smelled this, I absolutely loved it. I sprayed it on my wrist to see how long it would stay and how’d it’d smell on me, and omg I’m in love. Is it unique? Not quite, but is it a good scent? In my eyes, yes! I would purchase this tomorrow if I could lol. I’d say just give it a try if you enjoy sugar sweet yet warm musky scents. It caught me by surprise, but a good one. Definitely would buy.

I am surprised I like this so much. I have the body mist, body was and body lotion. The 3 together creates a nice scent bubble on me for about an hour. It’s pretty but fleeting.

a sweet, almost-animalic musky raspberry. moss note is slightly sour and musk is ambroxan. sweetest song is much more bright and sweet but the initial raspberry note is similar, so i get the comparisons. but i don't know... something about this just reminds me of body odor. it's a bit cloying. edit: it grows on you lol. i like this. but it's still a little cloying.

very sweet and berry, if u like berries u will love this. perfect for that transition from winter to spring imo.

I got this entire line, and this one is the lightest smelling of the three. It's definitely a barely there scent, while the other two are more noticeable and I got decent wear out of them. I'll see how long this one wears, but even at first spray it's hard to detect. I do own Ralph Lauren Beyond Romance, and they are similar, but this is like the most watered down version of that possible. It's so light that why would you even layer it with that? This one is disappointing.

I was hoping for raspberry, but I smelled almost nothing. This is another barely there scent for people who do not enjoy actual scents. The barely there barely lasts. Returned.

Definitely the weakest in the musk lineup in both strength and scent. Generally inoffensive, forgettable. I have face products with stronger fragrance than this.

Smells like dark fruit and moss. It's aromatic, sweet, and kinda boozy. It's almost like Dark Velvet Oud but with less depth and minus the richness. This is great layered with brighter, sweeter, and fresher fragrances. Blending some vanilla or gourmand will turn this into a nauseating concoction. It's quite fleeting, though. It almost disappears within an hour and needs a lot of layering to last. This is also noticeably weaker than Fresh Musk (didn't buy Warm Musk since it smells too heavy). That being said, if you like date night reminiscent fragrances without the cloying or headache inducing factor, Fruity Musk may just be the best. It's got a mature scent profile but the concentration is light and inoffensive. A like but not a love.

I can't put my finger on it...but I've encountered this scent on older women at some point in my childhood. Now, when I smelled it I gasped because of how beautiful and comforting it was. It smelled like realistic raspberry and musk. It still smells that way, but after applying it, it has transformed into such a strong musk. I'm thinking maybe it reminds me of the original dry down of chance eau tendre. Or, it reminds me of an old Chanel perfume from the 90s. Now that I smell it....I feel like I remember smelling it back then it I never liked it. Unfortunately this mist is no longer for me. But I swear, if you like the scents I listed above, you'll love this.

Sweet berries but with a hint of punchy rummy moss and amber. It also has a wine-like note, like sweetened blackberry plum wine. This is similar to Ralph Lauren Beyond Romance, however this is much more of a “musk” as the name implies. Therefore when you layer this with the lotion, you get a scent cloud that’s really beautiful, but not overpowering. Would make the perfect base to fruity body sprays, maybe something tropical like Erba Pura or to sweeten up some serious perfumes.

The longevity is almost nonexistent, and the projection is even weaker. I had to apply quite a lot, but it ended up feeling like spraying water. You need to get very close to the skin to detect even the faintest hint of raspberry.

Your basic watery raspberry from B&BW I can't think of any specific comparisons. I can tell this will last about 30 minutes on the skin.
