Gingham Gorgeous

Okay, I have to talk about Gingham Gorgeous because this scent just hits different. It’s one of those fragrances that instantly brings back memories— specifically, those early 2000s teenage days when we’d meet up with friends outside, and there was always that one girl who smelled so effortlessly pretty. You know what I mean? Like, soft, fresh, and just nice in a way that sticks with you. The scent itself is this perfect blend of delicate florals and sweet fruitiness but without being too overpowering. It’s airy, feminine and comforting, like a warm hug from someone who always knows how to make you feel good. And the best part? It layers SO well. If you use the lotion or body cream before the spray, it lasts forever and just melts into your skin in the best way possible. I think what makes it so special is just how effortlessly wearable it is. It’s fresh but not sharp, sweet but not sickly, floral but not old-fashioned. It’s that scent that basically makes you feel put-together even on a casual day. It has this timeless pretty-girl energy that feels both youthful and classic at the same time. If you love soft, sweet, and feminine scents that give you a little boost of nostalgia, Gingham Gorgeous is absolutely worth trying. 10/10, definitely one of my favorites from B&BW!

I still remember smelling this in store for the first time and instantly falling in love with it. It's sweet, fresh, light, and just... so delicious. I get juicy strawberry, sweet peach nectar, and then the peony in the dry down ties everything together so beautifully. This fragrance feels like spring in a bottle. It reminds me of having a picnic in a grassy field, picking fresh strawberries under the sunshine with a soft breeze in the air. It's fruity, floral, and clean all at once, which makes it so easy to wear. I can understand why some people call it a little generic. But honestly, I think that's exactly why it's so easy to love. It just smells really, really good. I loved it so much that I ended up getting the full set: the body mist, body lotion, and body wash. It's definitely my favorite scent from the Gingham collection. It also reminds me a little of Velvet Sugar. They both have that beautiful strawberry sweetness, but they go in completely different directions. Gingham Gorgeous smells like fresh strawberries on clean linen during an early spring picnic, while Velvet Sugar is much more like strawberries coated in sugar.

I adore this body mist, I think I might even buy the perfume which is rare for me because I rarely think bath and body works perfumes are worth it when I can get a 1 oz of a designer for about the same price. But anyway, this is such an adorable fragrance that just makes me feel cute somehow? It’s a very sweet scent, not necessarily saccharine but sweet like a nice happy person would wear it. It starts off strong with a fresh and tart strawberry and then smells like a surprisingly high quality peony. I can’t really detect peach but I guess it just adds an overall sweetness to the perfume. I don’t find this similar to Burberry her or Elixir, this is fresh in a laundry type of way with sugary strawberries on top. It has good longevity and I just love catching myself sniffing my wrist when I wear it. I think this would be wonderful for a first perfume for a teen girl or a teen girl at heart 🩷🎀. Pink strawberries and ribbons I mean for real who would not feel adorable wearing this. edit: I wore this today and my boyfriend rated it a 9.5 out of 10! It’s so good I really love it.

Beautiful blended fruity floral. This smells very similar to pretty as a peach as they both share peach + floral notes. This one is more mature and less artificial smelling but still a bit youthful. Very pretty, super girly, I’d say half way between smelling like a body mist and half way smelling perfumey. I don’t really pick up on much strawberry honestly and I really wish I did. Projection is decent, and I have to say I have a large dent in this and I’ve only had it a few weeks. Super easy reach and everyday suitable The closest fragrance I personally have to this is poppy, both are JUICY fruity florals. But different enough to still have both, I prefer gingham gorgeous. projection: 7/10 longevity: 8/10 fragrance: 9/10 true to notes: 9/10 packaging: 10/10

It's weird to get into B&BW after I've already spent so much time in the niche world, but here we are? I enjoy this so much. I also feel like I've smelled it before although not specifically at B&BW. I like Burberry Her, so it's possibly that? But I don't have a strong enough scent memory of it to be sure - which means Gingham Gorgeous is probably on the generic side, but I don't think that's a bad thing. I find the strawberry much lighter than Strawberry Pound Cake and even You're the One, so if you're afraid of B&BW fruit bombs, this is safe. It does have a surprisingly sharp note that makes me think there's cassis in there somewhere, but overall this can't offend anyone but the most ardent sweet avoiders. Longevity is okay, I haven't tried the EDP yet.

im not a huge fan of florals, but this is absolutely AMAZING!!! a beautiful floral strawberry perfume that's great for a nice spring day out. sweet and elegant without being too juvenile. perfect for someone who wants to get into more floral scents, but don't know where to start. can be paired with the following scents: Strawberry Poundcake, Japanese Cherry Blossom, Lataffa Yara, Sabrina Carpenter Sweet Tooth, Ariana Grande Cloud Pink, Burberry Her, Cheirosa 68, Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, Sand + Fog White Vanilla, Al-Rehab Soft if you want to gives off a cute, soft princess vibe, i definitely recommend checking this scent out!!

Peony, Peach & Baccarat... My sister was wearing this last week. Smells great, and I definitely get the Burberry Her/BR 540 DNA in the base. The notes pyramid doesn't reflect the actual smell unfortunately. There's definitely a fruity-floral freshness in the top notes, that takes on a near-berry quality, with the spun-sugar/toasted-sugar in the base. Of all the scents I've tested with the Baccarat DNA in the base, I would put this closest to Burberry Her and Thank U. Next 2.0 Ariana Grande. This has great performance and a matching body lotion and perfume to go with it. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

Refreshing and addictive! It smells like flowers and fruit, heavy on the strawberries. It’s not a gourmand. It doesn’t smell like food, or like eating the fruit, it smells like being outside in the meadow near a berry patch or an orchard. It’s a crowd pleaser that can layer with almost anything if you find it too basic. Very feminine. I got it last spring as a gift, have used over half, and already have a backup. Longevity is typical of a BBW mist- spraying a moderate amount gives me about an hour or two of moderate projection before fading to a more intimate skin scent.

one of my favorite b&bw scents! peach and strawberry are 2 of my favorite notes, so i love it. very spring, very feminine, very pretty and bright. it reminds me of sol de janeiro cheirosa 68, but peachier and lighter, with less vanilla and less musk. 68 is slightly warmer and more floral, while gingham gorgeous is brighter and fruitier. they smell nice together, and are both great for spring and summer. not very long lasting, but it's a body mist. overall a really nice scent, if you like fruity-florals and peach.

It’s crazy tho say this doesn’t smell like Burberry her- unless maybe you’re using the edt? I just got the 5 oz bottle of Burberry her EDP and this lotion and spray layered with Burberry her smells AMAZING and got me a ton of compliments today. I bought the EDP of gingham gorgeous and immediately returned it because it has no lasting power whatsoever and for the price wasn’t justifiable. But this might take the cake for my favorite bright floral scent from bbw.

I’ve had this for 4 months and it remains my favorite scent. A good smell for floral fruity lovers. The peony and strawberry really makes it good. It smells quite light and didn’t last long tho. Strawberry scent in Gingham Gorgeous doesn’t smell as synthetic as others bbw strawberry scents. The peach note also balances out the smell. I wear them after shower and before sleep because it smells really fruity and calming. Just hope that the projection is better.

this is one of bath and body works best scents. it almost reminds me of Burberry her. it doesn’t really smell that cheap and it kind of lasts a little longer than their other scents. when i pair this with any fruity scent it smells heavenly. it smells like fresh sweet strawberries. kind of like strawberry soda almost. when i first smelled it i immediately loved it. such a shame the full size edp is hard to find.

Honestly I have the body cream. When i smelled it I got angry that I spent $180 on KayAli Edens Juicy Apple and travel size! They smell the same! I smell beautiful juicy red overripe apples! I layer this, Eden's Juicy Apple and Lataffa's Sublime. I get 10+ hours of wear, tons of compliments, and the ability to stay in and inhale my scent bubble constantly! It's sooooooo gooood!

this is such a wonderful body mist. i put it on in the morning and it lasts on my skin for about 3 hours. i will say that i mostly get peaches and peony from this, and it fades to peony over time. i don't really get any strawberry at all but i still think that this is so pleasant! it has an alcoholic opening but it fades fast and i love smelling myself throughout the day.

fruity, airy, and a touch powdery is how gingham gorgeous comes across to my nose. overall a very pretty, sweet&airy fruity floral that embodies spring. this does give the same vibes as burberry her but they don’t really smell the same to me considering i don’t like burberry her and i love this. i wish it lasted longer but at $5 usually i’m not that mad at it.

This smells so pretty! But reminds me so much of thank you next 2.0! Which I love, and probably the reason I picked this up first sniff. It last a long time too, I can see myself picking up the entire collection when it goes on sale. It’s juicy, with a hint of pretty peony. It’s Simple, crowd pleasing, and a good blind buy, I can’t recommend this enough.

Think Sweet Pea’s sexier older sister. This fruity floral is absolutely delicious and really authentic to its peach and strawberry notes. The peony in it adds a true perfume scent to it, making it smell like a sweeter and higher end Sweet Pea! Plus the packaging is very Farmer’s Daughter Coquette style!

The fragrance is exactly what it's called .... GORGEOUS. When I wore this, I received so many compliments on it. It's such a pretty non offensive fragrance. I don't think this smells close to Burberry her in any way. I love the way the strawberry is light. sweet and airy. Perfect scent for spring.

I really like that Gingham Gorgeous opens with a fruity scent, dries with floral and then sets powdery. The only note that I don't like is the peach. I think its combination with the strawberry scent makes the scent sour. It lasts longer on my clothes but not on my skin.

I am really liking this fragrance. Although I prefer more upscale fragrances now this still smells very pleasant. I guess this is supposed to be a dupe for Burberry her? I think they smell similar but this is not a dupe. I would layer this with it though

it smells like girlhood in a bottle. i wore the lotion and it was SO strong omg everybody could smell me, its like a juicy, fresh, mouthwatering sweet floral with fruity notes and its DIVINE imo! i totally rec for girls into fruity florals, much love :3

Y'all this doesn't smell anything like Burberry Her. But it DOES smell exactly like Kate Spade. The same fresh sparkly strawberry note with the sweet peach in the dry down. I have smelled all three fragrances and this isn't like Burberry Her at all.

I initially smelled this on a patient at my job and I thought she was wearing Cloud, but she said it was this. I went to BBW first chance I got and I purchased this with the sole intention of layering with Cloud! I love it so much.

This scent is a fresh, clean, floral with an aquatic aspect! Strawberries, freshwater, and a hint of rose! My only complaint is that it is SUPER light. But when I do smell it, it's a very girly, fresh, and flirty scent!!

It smells like strawberry gummy bears and flowers. Definitely a spring and maybe summer scent. I’m not a big fan of floral scents because they usually smell like a grandma but this one is so fresh and girly.

My mom wears this one nearly everyday so obviously I could never wear it myself. It's very floral and sweet and thats about it. Every time she wears it I inhale it because it smells really good on her.

super sweet, fresh & girly. like the girliest girl thats ever girled. i think this is my second favorite in the gingham line, its one of my go-tos for spring :) it gets me plenty of compliments too!!!

Wonderful dupe for Kate spade New York. The strawberry note is the exact same. Fruity, floral, and a little bit like an outdoor picnic. Longevity is not there though, lasts maybe an hour or two on me.

Smells exactly like Kayali eden juicy apple. Reminds me of burberry her but not that close to it. 50% similar to burberry her and 95% similar to kayali eden.

This is an exact dupe for Kayali Eden juicy apple. I own both and I sprayed each wrists with them and they smell exactly the same. Exactly.

It's quite a lovely scent. the peach and strawberry notes alongside the peony bring a scene of spring-time whimsy that I find appealing.

A beautiful fresh fruity scent 😍

This isn't the kind of fragrance from B&BW that you want to get in its mist form (but then again, I never liked any of the mist versions to begin with.) The only reason that I'm not writing this review on the EDP page is because I believe the EDP is vastly different to its more minor (and thus budget-friendly) counterparts. I will also say that I won't compare this fragrance to any other perfumes, because I personally don't have a lot of experience in the reputable perfume department. (However I have explored a lot of scents from this brand called "Lilith & Eve" and would've loved to write many glowing reviews on their collections, but Fragrantica just simply doesn't have them here! I'm so baffled by how they could have Lonkoom but not Lilith & Eve :(( ) I'm not somebody who spends money on full bottles of mainstream EDPs, but I know how to appreciate the notes in the samples I was trying for the ones I'm interested in :) So. What I got for myself was the Body Lotion variant, and it is drop-dead GORGEOUS. It is strawberries and peaches in a bottle, sounding like sweet little girls singing in the backseat of your car and "sharing" scented stickers on your face, giggles and childish grins. Peony petals falling in from the windows and landing on the sill. It's all innocuous, like pink ballerina tutus and cushiony princess slippers. Very much a girlie scent. And best of all, it's relatively light for daily wear too :) A scent that can wash off quite easily if you choose to put on something else instead. ((But --- if you're looking for the rich Strawberry Shortcake hair kind of smell, it's still not remotely close :( Had it been a little darker on the strawberry, maybe with a tonka bean backing, it would've been so close. Though then again, it's meant to be a cheerful pink, so I think this fragrance still deserves a 10/10 from me for being so accurate from the notes they've provided! ^u^)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ To describe BBW Gingham Gorgeous Body Lotion in more depth from my experience: * DISCLAIMER: It's not meant to be a luxurious scent. Just from the name, "Gingham Gorgeous," it should give you an image of a girl in her late teens to early twenties wearing the light pink flannel from Uniqlo, smiling underneath the sun and dusting off her dust-powdered jeans. And so, to be disappointed that it's not such a rich smell would be on you, really. It's meant to be as simple as a Hallmark story :) - The design on the bottle gives off the vibe of a spring English tea party. You can search that up, so that I can save you the pain of me inaccurately describing it. Hope you can understand what I'm getting at :'D - By itself: Bright, cheery, and a comically-large bouquet of FUN! You get all three of the described notes (Pink Strawberries, Peach Nectar, Peony Blooms) in one go! It's a delightful blend. But it distinctly reminds you of either peonies or strawberries first, before you rub it down to catch the peach hints dispersing in the air before you! That's the impression you will get when you first applied it. When it dries down, you may get the impression that it's more artificial than you expected, and then it's not so sunshine and rainbows. It starts smelling like what I'd imagine when you first buy a light pink flannel --- hints of sweetness on something that's only been recently stocked in a store. If you don't press your nose into it, it's very soft and happy. It never fails to fill me with joy every time I catch a conscious whiff of it :> - Layered with J&J's Baby Powder in Blossoms: A perfect compliment. It mutes down the brightness of the strawberries and gives it a stronger floral boost. It makes it more musky and soothing. I love this combo especially when just fresh out of the shower; I would apply the lotion first, then use a puff to put powder EVERYWHERE (okay, except maybe the parts you shouldn't haha!) Not only does this make the lotion's scent last longer but it also makes it such a special experience because after a long day, you could just sniff your wrist where you put a little extra lotion and had set with the powder, and it's just such a pick-me-up ^u^!! - On a hot day: I honestly think this scent could fare well in warmer weather. I think it would come off as too sharp during the winter because the dissipation isn't as "wide" in the cold. And so the sillage would be wasted. I do feel that winter is suited for heavier scents as the sillage won't make it overpowering as it would in the heat. I'd say it's a safe spring/summer wear. You can try in the fall, but make sure to warm it out a little bit (either with body temps or with a warm scent profile.) - Hair: ...I'm ashamed to admit, but I love this scent so much, I applied it to my hair. I treat it like a leave-in conditioner or mousse, where I pump a small amount into my hands and rub them together to even them out before combing my hair with my fingers. If you accidentally applied too much, it'll be quite heavy. But it's nothing that a little heat from a hair-dryer can't fix. Though be reminded: I wash my hair nearly daily, since I've got an oily scalp and really thick, very low-porosity hair. It's a routine I benefit from, since conditioner is an expensive hit-or-miss run. But I do find that using this method actually helped my hair breathe better while I take care of the matters of the scalp. Plus, the scent is SO MUCH BETTER when it's in my hair! I think the warmth and the lightweightness of it really helps. I think this should be a cue for B&BW to release scented hair-care lines, hehe. - Product Bottom Line: Get it because you like the scent. If you buy it for the "24 Hour Moisture" and "Daily Nourishing" aspect, you're going to sell yourself short. I like the scent, but I wanted better longevity or just avoid the whole "strong/cloying" or "not even there" problem that I often get with the fragrance mists. The body lotion mixed with my skin chemistry really well, as I could be sweating and just have it smell even sweeter. I'm not even sure how it works, but I assure you I do not have diabetes (I really do hope I don't, or else these diagnostics have been lying to me!! >^<) *** TL;DR? - The lightest and brightest of the Gingham line, in my opinion. At least from the standpoint of the Body Lotion version. - If you want to feel like a girl, this is it. Not Strawberry Shortcake doll hair dupe, unfortunately. - Warm weather-friendly (yays for the sweaty girlies!!) - J&J's Baby Powder in Blossoms helps "set" the scent, even if it mutes it a little bit, but it just makes it beautifully musky. It's also a great combination together. - Worked better on my hair because I basically do daily hairwashing, but not advised to do it to your own hair if it's not low porosity as the ingredients might damage more sensitive hair. - Get it for the scent, not the lotion's highlighted benefits. It's a perfumed product first and foremost. It's very lightweight, but that just makes it more versatile. - Skin chemistry plays a large part in its appeal, so you should warm up the patch of skin you tried the test sample on if you're checking them out in air-conditioned stores. Or it might smell like a grandma on you :') Warning: YMMV, depending on the aforementioned factors, along with personal preferences. I personally plan on getting the EDP, and trying out the rest of the line (like the shower gel and body wash) but I think I'll settle for looking for the EDP for now, since too much Gingham Gorgeous might wear out its magical charms :) From the last time I tried it, I quite liked the EDP, as it's not as "punchy" and gives off a more "formal" vibe. Definitely a Polaroid picture worth immortalising. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ P.S: Don't confuse this review with the fragrance mist or the other products under this line as I specifically talk about the body lotion. I think they all smell different. I personally have basically the full original Gingham line (except for the EDP) and have to say that each product definitely smells apart from each other. (For example, the Body Cream smells overly strong compared to the more toned out fragrance mist, while the body wash can smell too much when the shower gets warm. The good thing about the body wash is that it does calm down after it has all rinsed off. But the initial use could be suffocating :') I don't think I'm a big fan of violet scents, haha. I think the fragrance mist is better as it's such a dominating scent until it decides to dry down.)

I did write a review of this before, but consider this an update, since time has passed since then ^^🌼 I believe it has been almost a year for me since I brought the bottle home :) (Also, did not expect that review to blow up omg. I have to apologise for being insane on this HAHA oops... vv;;;;) Tip if you got a bottle of this and you can't get rid of it: Get something that has The Body Shop's White Musk profile to layer with it. Spritz Gingham Gorgeous first, then spritz White Musk (or alternative) on top of it. It should help make it more wearable for anything and everything. Tip if you're not sure what a White Musk alternative is: Basically anything on the powdery side, not strong on sillage/projection, so it's virtually "scentless" on its own, but helps a lot in toning down stronger, very fruity scents because it's completely floral (but it's incredibly soft.) It's supposed to smell like pillows you'd find in a fancy home depot and it's not quite linen, not quite cotton, but it smells like it's from the laundry, but the detergent or softener is quite diluted, so it's not strong. In other words, something soft, not gourmand or fruity. The rest of my review regarding this FFM: I really love Gingham Gorgeous because I have an obsession with anything very strawberry-scented. This one is less on the cheapo side, but it does get a bitsy cloying. I don't think I can compare this to Strawberry Pound Cake, because it doesn't have the cakey notes in it. It's a lot fresher, less baked of a smell. I don't detect plasticky notes. Just overall somewhat hyper on the sugar. Not quite jammy either, just concentrated perfumey peonies with some fresh strawberries and a peach blanket under all of that. With all that said, I do get tired of how hyper it feels. During rainier seasons, when it's colder and soggier, I would layer this with TBS White Musk. It would invade my nose a lot less and calm me down. There's nothing wrong with wearing either on its own, but to me, it depends on the mood and energy. I wouldn't wear White Musk outside since it doesn't even smell like anything on its own, but it's so good to spritz before bed. If you want a stronger and longer lasting Gingham Gorgeous experience, try spritzing it in your hair after a shower and then let it dry. Experiment a little and see how you like it. If I recall correctly, Gingham Gorgeous do actually have its own shampoo and conditioner, so try to check around in stores and see if they carry any. I personally stick to the Body Lotion. By itself, moisturising but dries out quick, so I put a few drops of J&J baby oil to seal the moisture. If you're taking the same route, avoid the baby oil in the pink bottle and I'd recommend the purple one with the same reasoning as layering with White Musk. I currently use the green one because that's what I have at the moment, works fine, but not the best scent synergy. Be sure to apply the lotion to slightly damp skin, because dry skin makes it feel really sticky. If that happens, spray some plain water to even it out. Then while it's not yet dry, put some oil on. Otherwise, Gingham Gorgeous truly is gorgeous, on a girl who wears a thick light-pink flannel and drinks strawberry milkshake out in the frozen cold. It's not for everyone, and definitely not for someone who are into more mature scents. But boy, it surely is recognisable in the crowd. Could be your signature, who knows? :)

BBW formulations are a hit and a miss when it comes down to notes. Some are muddled while others have that “this smells like a repackage” vibe. Every single note you can smell and it doesn’t come off as being too simple or boring. The juicy peach in the initial spray is so sweet while it quickly dissipates into the strawberry then lastly, the peony. But these notes don’t always go in this order for me, and I love that! One day I get pure peony, other days — I get the fruity notes and my opinion will stay the same: This is a gorgeous, feminine fragrance. Originally I got this as a travel size edp. Fell in love with it so I got the collection. The sillage is moderate to intimate. And longevity is 4 hours with body cream / body wash. Far less without pairing. Also, the fragrance is GREAT with pairing! If you are a fan of fruity (sometimes) floral, get this. I smell no powdery notes here as others are. I’ve worn this in cold, extreme heat, day and night. All season kind of fragrance! Fair warning: some people are sensitive to super fruity fragrances and may be too cloying. A lot of people here are saying this is a dupe for Kate Spade and I’m gonna have to go to Ulta and see because if so and that fragrance has better longevity, im getting that — so thanks for the recommendation! Lol.

To me, this is like all the best parts of Burberry Her! Her smelled like a cough drop on me, far too medicinal to appreciate the pretty parts of the scent. I was nervous this mist would be the same, but it doesn't lean that way at all! There's none of that overly-syrupy sweetness; it's a great balance of fruity and floral. Very feminine without being juvenile, and very well-matched to the beautiful packaging. I'd say it's a perfect scent for springtime; I can't wait to use it in the upcoming months. This was a blind buy for six bucks and my only regret is that I didn't pick up the lotion as well! This might even end up being a "love" for me :) edit: I find now that this actually reminds me WAY more of Kayali Eden Juicy Apple than Burberry Her! They're practically identical to my nose. I've also ended up not reaching for this very much, so I'll be passing it on-- there's something about it that just annoys me a tad, bordering on screechy... but mostly I think it just doesn't feel like a "me" scent.

I'm somewhat torn when it comes to liking this mist. One one hand, it is a pretty floral and girly scent, but on the other hand, it's almost slightly too sweet and gummy candyish to my nose. The fragrance doesn't really evolve much past the initial spray as sometimes I catch a whiff of the floral and other times I catch the sweet peachy strawberry sweet fruityness. The sweetness is *almost* too much for me, but I think the peony note is what's holding the scent back from being annoying. The longevity isn't the best either. I can't really smell it on myself after ~4 hours of wear. This fragrance is certainly very feminine and girly, literally the epitome of girly girl. It's a good scent, but there's better fruity florals out there imo.

Immediately the opening is a really delicious peach! Bright, crisp and refreshing, not at least the heavy sort of peach in some perfumery. My daughters and I tested some B&BW stuff, and we all like this. I've failed to test the original Gingham, so I cannot comment on how this compares, but it's nice. It has a certain freshness I associate with laundry musk. It has an airy freesia heart, and I think this would work well in high summer heat. It's quite pretty, albeit nothing super original. The longevity is nice coming from the EDP, and stands up alongside many designer releases, and I think it's worth the money. It smells a bit like Perfect Peony did, but fruitier/sweeter.

Good but not what I expected? I’m a huge fan of Burberry Her and I bought into the hype. I would say these are distant distant cousins. I think layering this with a powdery musk scent may help recreate the same sort of scent, but the fruitiness here is pretty strong even in the dry down. That being said- it’s a youthful fruity smell that is universally pleasing. I wouldn’t wear this at night or to formal or work settings, but it’s one of those things I keep around when I just want to smell good in my day to day activities or hopping out of the shower.

I got this impulsively to layer with Burberry Her Elixir, but the peony comes off so strong it smells more like rose, I don’t really enjoy rose notes because they tend to lean more mature. I do like it, but it’s not ME. Will be returning, although it sits close to the skin the dry down is too perfume-y for me. I was expecting something more juicy and fruity—as it smelled on the test paper. Just now realizing it may just be my skins chemistry that doesn’t agree too well, I felt the same about Burberry Her :( loved it on paper, hated it on my skin.
