Gingham Vibrant

I went to buy this perfume after many TikTok influencers claimed it was a dupe for Taylor Swift's "Wonderstruck" perfume, which I used to own. I was hoping this was true, but when I tested it in store, I was disappointed to find that the two are not dupes. However, I will say that Gingham Vibrant kind of reminds me of the Ariana Grande "Sweet Like Candy" body mist, which also gave me a similar vibe to Wonderstruck when I first tried it. The fruity notes that Gingham Vibrant perfume opens with are definitely similar to Wonderstruck; however, Gingham Vibrant is a juicier and sweeter blackberry scent, whereas Wonderstruck's blackberry note is slightly more mature and woodsy (while still maintaining a girly vibe that is suitable for younger wearers). Gingham Vibrant is far lighter and more wearable than Wonderstruck for me. The scent is sweet and clean, and it smells like a perfect day in late spring. The simplicity of this fragrance makes it inoffensive and simply delectable. I honestly could see this becoming my spring signature scent, and I definitely plan on buying the full body care set when the semi-annual sale rolls around. This is a safe blind buy and, dare I say, one of my favorite BBW scents I've smelled to date! I highly recommend this fragrance.

Gingham Vibrant caught me by surprise. I am a huge fan of the color purple so I automatically grabbed this for a test in the store, wore it around while shopping and purchased it as well as a matching lotion. Wore it the next day outside on a beautiful sunny day. As I was chatting with a friend over the fence, I kept getting little wafts of this scent. It reminds me slightly of Amethyst by Lalique...it feels (to me ) as if there is a slight dewberry note in this fragrance. It has become an easy reach for me lately...I even wore it to work once. I like the way it dries down into a softer, sun dried scent...beautiful! Definitely starts out vibrantly and ends tenderly. Lovely scent for a sunny, breezy, sundress kind of day and an evening spent at a bbq or on a date. So pretty. I just love it!

Besides Gingham Gorgeous being my absolute favorite out of this line, Vibrant is my second favorite. The blackberries steal the show in this fragrance. I have the mist and mini edp. The mist is more lighter with the blackberries but you get more violet, the edp I find you get MORE blackberries and the violet is very faint. I get no vanilla at all here with both. I find the EDP power to be very weak in this line while the mist’s sillage is better. (Weird — I know!!) Maybe it’s just weak on my body chemistry? In any rate, this fragrance is sweet but there’s some sort of depth that goes into it.

The violet and blackberries are the stars. I detect no vanilla, but I love it so, so much. It smells delicious but at the same time fresh and clean. It's what I imagine "dainty" smells like. This is one of my top ten favourites, and I will always be bugging Bath&Body Works to bring this back because it's absolutely divine! Longevity on clothes is quite strong. The sillage is crazy. My 2nd most favorite smell from BBW! This was a blind buy as I purchased it online, but I couldn’t have picked a better option! It’s different from all of the sprays I have - you can definitely smell fresh blackberries with a mix of sweetness and floral-ness once it dries down. 2 sprays can give me around 5~ ish hours of smell! Overall, a must have if you like BBW sprays!
