Gingham Vibrant

I went to buy this perfume after many TikTok influencers claimed it was a dupe for Taylor Swift's "Wonderstruck" perfume, which I used to own. I was hoping this was true, but when I tested it in store, I was disappointed to find that the two are not dupes. However, I will say that Gingham Vibrant kind of reminds me of the Ariana Grande "Sweet Like Candy" body mist, which also gave me a similar vibe to Wonderstruck when I first tried it. The fruity notes that Gingham Vibrant perfume opens with are definitely similar to Wonderstruck; however, Gingham Vibrant is a juicier and sweeter blackberry scent, whereas Wonderstruck's blackberry note is slightly more mature and woodsy (while still maintaining a girly vibe that is suitable for younger wearers). Gingham Vibrant is far lighter and more wearable than Wonderstruck for me. The scent is sweet and clean, and it smells like a perfect day in late spring. The simplicity of this fragrance makes it inoffensive and simply delectable. I honestly could see this becoming my spring signature scent, and I definitely plan on buying the full body care set when the semi-annual sale rolls around. This is a safe blind buy and, dare I say, one of my favorite BBW scents I've smelled to date! I highly recommend this fragrance.

Gingham Vibrant caught me by surprise. I am a huge fan of the color purple so I automatically grabbed this for a test in the store, wore it around while shopping and purchased it as well as a matching lotion. Wore it the next day outside on a beautiful sunny day. As I was chatting with a friend over the fence, I kept getting little wafts of this scent. It reminds me slightly of Amethyst by Lalique...it feels (to me ) as if there is a slight dewberry note in this fragrance. It has become an easy reach for me lately...I even wore it to work once. I like the way it dries down into a softer, sun dried scent...beautiful! Definitely starts out vibrantly and ends tenderly. Lovely scent for a sunny, breezy, sundress kind of day and an evening spent at a bbq or on a date. So pretty. I just love it!

Besides Gingham Gorgeous being my absolute favorite out of this line, Vibrant is my second favorite. The blackberries steal the show in this fragrance. I have the mist and mini edp. The mist is more lighter with the blackberries but you get more violet, the edp I find you get MORE blackberries and the violet is very faint. I get no vanilla at all here with both. I find the EDP power to be very weak in this line while the mist’s sillage is better. (Weird — I know!!) Maybe it’s just weak on my body chemistry? In any rate, this fragrance is sweet but there’s some sort of depth that goes into it.

The violet and blackberries are the stars. I detect no vanilla, but I love it so, so much. It smells delicious but at the same time fresh and clean. It's what I imagine "dainty" smells like. This is one of my top ten favourites, and I will always be bugging Bath&Body Works to bring this back because it's absolutely divine! Longevity on clothes is quite strong. The sillage is crazy. Perfect to wear during spring and summer. It's totally uplifting and an extreme love for me ❤️ Fragrance : 1000/10 Sillage : 10/10 Longevity : 9.5/10 Packaging : 9/10 True to Notes : 8.5/10

My 2nd most favorite smell from BBW! This was a blind buy as I purchased it online, but I couldn’t have picked a better option! It’s different from all of the sprays I have - you can definitely smell fresh blackberries with a mix of sweetness and floral-ness once it dries down. 2 sprays can give me around 5~ ish hours of smell! Overall, a must have if you like BBW sprays!

The sweetest and longest lasting of the new Gingham releases this one has notes of candied violets, blackberries and vanilla. The vanilla and blackberry notes really shine through here. It’s an overall basic scent, and pretty similar to Among the Clouds. But it’s basic because it’s a definite crowd pleaser and very inoffensive, I recommend this as a safe blind buy!

I will never forgive bbw for discontinuing this. It's a fresh fruity scent but has a light powdery dry down without being too sweet. I layer it with Burberry Her Elixr to enhance the blackberry scent. I LOVE!

This is my favorite of the Ginghams since the vanilla and the sweet notes bring a unique twist to Gingham's usually fresh and floral scents, it also has a blackberry note which is a bonus to me.

Out of the new gingham line this one has the best longevity & sillage. I get the blackberry note kind of candied. I do not get a lot of vanilla though.

Love this one.. It's easy to wear and somehow brings me in playful mood like a lighter version of boardwalk toffee...

This shocked me . I stopped buying BBW berry mist after they brought back black raspberry vanilla made it tart and ruined it as well as bringing back sun rippened raspberry and destroyed that it’s so sour I just gave up they really have been messing up all there old good scents given us sour horrible berries that are sour such a shame . Now to this i did not buy at first and my daughter came home from college with it and of course as a BBW collector I had to know and had no hope going in I was shocked put back in my seat by BBW and could not believe they do have the ability to do berries right. It reminds me of the old black raspberry vanilla. This is good good berries from the 90s early 2000s . I bought 8 bottles just for myself I will not pass this up. Good smooth not sour blackberries and vanilla and done so well and it’s already being discontinued from the line why? Because theee stupid. You can’t go wrong the berry note is not the same old same old and is worth getting your hands on a good one . It is not like any recent berry.

Just vanilla as a note?? Uhhh...no. This certainly has some smoothie smelling berries. Their website states that there's blackberries, so I'll go with that. Honestly, it's hard to tell sometimes and berries end up smelling very similar. I was just relieved that this didn't smell grapey, I dislike grape. It has an almost lactonic, creamy texture, but also smells clean. I noted that it smells like a berry freeze (particularly the kind you can get at Costco, you know the ones?) with whipped cream. It's nice, but I prefer Black Raspberry Vanilla 😋 So...I can't help but hold it to that standard. It's nice though! The bottles for this new line are gorgeous too. I find it odd that they called this one "Vibrant", as I actually think it's quite mellow and smooth.

I've seen this being compared to Wonderstruck all over the place and while it does have a similar berry vanilla vibe, the two barely smell alike. It didn't even occur to me that they might be similar the first time I smelled it; it reminded me more of Whipped Berry Meringue and Blackberry & Basil. That being said, it does smell delicious and is a great fragrance. You'll be happier with it if you're just looking for something juicy, sweet and fresh rather than a Wonderstruck dupe. It's also the strongest and longest-lasting of the new Gingham line, especially when layered with the body cream. I hear it's being discontinued during SAS for whatever reason so I plan to stock up.

This is a nice and basic scent. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of blackberry scents. It just smells so bitter to my nose. The vanilla helps sweeten it out and paired with EOS vanilla cashmere lotion, it smells fine. But I wouldn't purchase it myself (got it free for BBW gratis). Edit: one year later and I actually really enjoy this scent. I still only have my sample, and I wouldn't buy it, but it is actually a sweet blackberry vanilla scent, pretty mature and sweet. Perfect for a day or night out. It works great in spring and summer but the dark, juicy blackberry makes this work in winter or fall, too. I actually really like it!

This may be odd, but I created my account just to share my experience at the mall with this fragrance. I sampled the EDP version, not the spray, but I knew what it reminded me of as soon as I smelled it. It's because it reminds me of Burberry Her EDP, which makes sense considering the notes are very similar. It does have a different leading note than Burberry Her, but to me, I think it is remarkably similar. Overall, if you like Burberry Her, smell this when you are BBW, and maybe, like me, you will walk out with the lotion and shower gel to supplement your perfume usage.

No vanilla here. It's a watery blackberry with violets. Green and slightly floral. Not powdery. I agree with the other review. It smells like grape jelly ace when you pull back the foil. I like it better than Black Raspberry, Dark Kiss, Cherry Merlot as it is not too strong. Good scent for rainy days.

Think damp sweet blackberries on a rainy day, for some reason it has an aquatic(?) watery notes to me. Don't really smell any vanilla but definitely sweet blackberries. It doesn't have the sour fresh quality though it is straight up just "berry" sweetness if you know what i mean.

I get mostly blackberries which I absolutely love. It lasts a decent amount of time for a bath and body Works spray. I just got it at the mall. It’s light and pretty I’d mix it with the body cram or lotion for a longer lasting scent.

Fresh, sweet blackberry & vanilla scent. My favorite of the BBW 2023 Gingham variations. Best layered with the shower gel, body cream, perfume. Like most BBW mists, this doesn't last long, but I don't mind reapplying often.

This was my favorite Gingham iteration but sadly it was short-lived. I wish I had bought another bottle when it was in stock. Good vanilla-blackberry scent (I'm a sucker for that combo). It was fresh but not overwhelming .

I'm still figuring out this scent but I do like it. Love? Not yet and not sure. My body chemistry tends to pull berry scent and this one lasts longer on my skin and not on my clothes which is opposite to Gingham Gorgeous.

it’s pretty! i was dying to try this but i found it much more “common” than i expected :( tbh it smells like anything that’s marketed as “blackberry”. still, i like it ^^ it smells nostalgic to me for some reason

I don't get quite vanilla, but more a refined, sweet-sour scent of blackberries that mimics them perfectly. YUM.

I have tested it in BBW store before boycott, sweety vanilla calm mist, combains a hint of soury mixed with vanilla and candy. This fragrance you can wear it any time during the day or in spring and summer seasons. I don't like it. I usually like blackberry scents but something in this body mist smells funky to me. This smells nothing like blackrasberry vanilla at all. I think the other ginghams are better such as Gingham Love, Gingham Fresh and Gingham Gorgeous. Update: This fragrance lasted me for a long time I fell asleep with it on and woke up still smelling it. The longevity in this fragrance is amazing but I'm still smelling something funky like a sour green note. Maybe it's just my nose? Overall I wish I liked it because the lasting power in this is perfect and better than a typical body mist.

It is more of a blackberry scent. I'm not a fan of blackberries in a scent in general so it's a no for me.

Not a fan — doesn’t smell vanilla at all tbf, smells more like sanitizer— not sweet; alocholy

According to my olfactory memory, something about this smells like the solid perfume locket that came with the Perfume Pretty Whitney Barbie doll from 1987 (in a good way!). There is a fluffy, marshmallow creaminess about this fragrance (especially in the drydown) that is very impressive. The notes are well-blended for just a sweet, berry-forward B&BW body mist. The hand cream is also perfection, just as good in quality and leaves a lasting, but subtle scent. I normally don't prefer the sweet berry type of B&BW scents, but this one is different and nuanced. Almost smells like there is a soft tea note, or delicate fresh peach. Am I going crazy, I just love smelling this.

For me at least, Gingham Vibrant is a flowery sweet blend with hints of blackberry. I really wish the blackberry stood out more, though considering this is (from what I understand) mainly young adults I can understand why leaning into florals for more 'sophisticated smells" rather than the berry, considering that'd give it a more childish aspect to it. Definitely not my kind of thing for fragrances overall but it's a good feminine fragrance; if I smelled this on someone else I would at least be interested.

Smells like black raspberry ice cream, which is one of my favorite flavors lol. Definitely berry and lactonic with a hint of powder. Gives me sundress and fair vibes. Too sweet and creamy for a scorching hot day but nice for spring, bedtime, or even fall and winter. It’s a sunny spring day but also a comfy pj’s, fresh out the shower, clean sheets, cozy sweet smell. This would be fantastic with falling in love by philosophy, or sweet like candy by AG. I like it!

i love the gingham vibrant range, i had the lotion first which has a very strong vanilla pie crust smell to it which i loved, and at first this spray didnt have that which i found disappointing but i used it today (about a month after getting it) and it definitely smells more like vanilla now.

It’s blackberries and violets with vanilla. Lasts quite awhile too! I can still smell it hours later. This is slightly more $ than the rest of their mists. It does remind me of the dark berry vanilla perfumes.

This smells like jelly ace or jelly snacks. It smells good. It's also reminiscent of Dark Kiss. So imagine mixing those two. It's a youthful Dark Kiss.
