Golden Berry Mistletoe

This is a new holiday scent for 2023 that I was not expecting much from but surprisingly I really enjoy it. Upon spraying, the opening is definitely a fruity berry note, which almost quickly dissipates to a sweet spruce and crisp fresh air. Although I do wish the berry lingered a bit longer on me, it is still a nice fragrance that stands out as unique from the other holiday offerings.

I absolutely love this scent! The sugared spruce mixed with the berries is delightful and VERY Christmas. If you can enjoy a very sweet freshie, this is definitely up your ally!

Pretty, Sweet, fruity, fresh, wintery, aromatic, and somewhat cozy. This one definitely gives me Wintery and holiday vibes! I definitely pick up on all of the notes. There’s the sweet yet tart red berries, the lovely aromatic sugared spruce, and the fresh, ozonic, frosted mountain air. It’s a sweet berry scent with a touch of freshness, and the wintery and somewhat green scent of spruce. It’s a pretty scent and somewhat unique, especially for B&BW body care products. Golden Berry Mistletoe does reminds me just somewhat of Everlasting Magic mixed with Midnight Spell. However, this has the added sugared spruce that really gives it that wintery and festive feel. This one is something that I feel is best suited for the colder half of fall and definitely throughout winter. I do seem to enjoy it the most right around the holiday season, especially from mid November through January. I do get pretty good performance with Golden Berry Mistletoe, especially when I use the mist along with the lotion and shower gel. The longevity is nice, about 6-7 hours on me before becoming just a skin scent. The projection is decent, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me.

Cold, a little tart, somehow green. This is a nice winter berry scent. I think it will appeal to people who enjoy herbal, green, vegetable type scents. It reminds me of a tart tomato. (The hand sanitizer really smells like tomato on frozen ground.) There is a mild sweetness from the red berries but no sugar. One spray of the mist lasts 3 hours. I like that it stands out from typical sugary red or dark berry scents. It's elegant in a humble way. I had to laugh at the embalming fluid review. It isn't wrong.

I bought the lotion. A little sharp for me - definitely smells like bath and body works. I can definitely see this as causing a headache for some. This is one you might want to mix with an unscented lotion if you buy the body lotion. Very berry to my nose, sillage very strong. A good holiday scent overall.

It's definitely unique, that's for sure. Golden Berry Mistletoe is to me an overly sweet, almost syrupy, berry-heavy scent that is paired with spruce. When I think of it, I see juniper berries and spruce laying in the snow. That's the vibe I get, but I wish they would have made this even more fresh, airy and more prominent on the spruce. But they of course decided to focus on their favourite ingredient this year, berries. How original, we did not have a ton of berry scents this year. Irony off. This could have been a very good scent, but with that syrupy berryish sweetness that scent is kinda "meh" as it does not entirely fit the theme, at least for me. It reminds me of "Under the Christmas Tree" but drowned in sugar and with a prominent berry note and the good stuff just happening in the background.

Starts off nice and fruity but then there’s something off that comes through. Maybe it’s the fir but it doesn’t go with the berries in my opinion. Even in the wallflower I could pick up that off smell so it’s not my skin chemistry. I finished the wallflower but gave away my fragrance mist.

This fragrance smells like champagne toast to me. it has a slight depth to it like a black current or plum and citrus with a hint of resinous touch in base

I was really hoping to layer this with Brooklyn Ellis Apres but all I got from this one is just generic berry :(
