Golden Mango Lagoon

I ordered this off eBay when I was really wanting a mango mist and this did not disappoint. I'm pretty averse to sharp and musky smells but the sharpness in this mist comes solely from the freshness of the smell of sliced mango— one that is just barely ripe and unaged, the kind that makes your tongue itchy— and an incredibly subtle sea salt/sea wood combination. It's so interesting that one of the notes is "coral blooms"— of course, most of us wouldn't know what that smells like, so I'm pretty curious how that plays into the scent profile. I'm also a sucker for tropical scents that aren't just some sharp sunny coconut and pineapple combination, that is so overtired at this point, so it's nice that this scent conveys the tropics without leaning on a sickly sweet coconut note (I love coconuts, just tired of coconut notes)! There is a slight sweetness that kind of smells like mango nectar juice and not directly a sweet ripe yellow mango. I highly recommend this scent if you like a good strong mango scent that is complemented by some unique notes that give it an overall fresh and fruity tropical feel. And just a note— I think a variant with a sweet orange blossom note would be stellar! Editing to add that this lasts unusually long for a B&BW scent!

This was my go-to summer scent when it first came out, and I've been squeezing out every last drop. I finally caved and bought more on eBay just in time for summer. It is a pure, juicy mango scent, reminiscent of a peach ring or mango nectar juice. It's a little tart and refreshingly perfect, just a pure mango spray. I can never find a scent that is like this, pure mango rather than mango/coconut or mango/vanilla. I pair this with Bali mango lotion and body wash. It is a similar scent, less hot and humid, and more refreshing if that makes sense. And comparing it to Bali mango, it's less floral and more almost musky? I think it's the woodsy note. It's amazing and goes great with that scent. 10/10 golden mango lagoon truther 4lyfe. Get compliments on it all the time, too!

Nostalgia bomb. The exact same artificial fruity scent I remember from my childhood in the early 2000s. I can wear it to feel fun and fresh but I mostly got it because it reminds me of the cheap Webkinz "perfume" I had as a kid that smelled like this.
