Honeycomb

It's a very interesting composition, it smells more than two notes. It is a skin scent and it becomes one with your chemistry, like it's your skin's naturally beautiful aroma or something, like you're wearing a shea butter lotion with a honey-musk perfume on top, and eventually they blend together forming a unique scent. It gives a nice calming feeling and it is not linear on me. I am smelling the shea right away, it is a rich, buttery scent kinda like some 90s tanning lotion or shea body butter, kinda basic, slightly lotion-y, although still aromatic like shea is, kinda nutty. Not crazy about that part since it's like a body butter smell, but before I get the chance to reject it as a basic scent, It is instantly accompanied by an aromatic ethereal solar, honey smell almost herbal, similar to marc jacobs Honey's vibe, but lighter, not as pungent floral, not too dusty - honey notes can be 'dusty' paired with florals, and the perfume I mentioned reminds me of BBW golden sunflower, so no floral dusty syrupy smell here. The honey becomes slightly balsamic-aromatic later on, as if there are yellow flower notes in there too, but it's the shea buttery lotion-like effect paired with the honey. When I smell my skin up close I smell both of these rich notes separately, but also harmoniously pairing together. The shea note later on maintains that deeper body butter scent, but more in the background, and progressively the honey note combined with the shea, blooms into this slightly balsamic comforting powdery scent similar to baby powder which usually contains vanilla, musk and white florals. The projection of this 'baby powder' scent is not disappointing even though discrete, so the finished result of this fragrance is not like MJ Honey. The VS Honey Mist is similar having the body lotion type of scent along with the sweet powdery honey, but it smells more basic like a body mist, while Honeycomb is more perfumey and more powdery on me and not as vanilla-lotion-like as the VS Honey Mist which is more vanilla-centered and the dahlia makes it a deeper scent. Honeycomb is more sophisticated. I tested them together. Here there has to be some musk cuz I smell something animalic and waxy which is how musk smells on me, I love musk. I also smell a slightly sour undertone at times. The VS Honey Mist is more sour on me than Honeycomb. It is a very comforting scent like the sun is smiling at you, like a calming baby's room with the soft afternoon sun's light through some yellow curtains, it is dreamy to me. It does not have much projection on me, but I like that it is not linear and morphs into something more powdery and sophisticated. The VS Honey Mist I mainly wear casually to bed cuz the scent screams 'body mist' rather than perfume, and I was never too crazy about it as it is like a honeyed vanilla lotion. I was worried with Honeycomb that it would be a basic lotion scent like the Coconut perfume mist which smells like fake bake, like BBW whipped vanilla chiffon, but more plain - I use that one as room spray. Over-spraying makes it more potent at first, but still wears close to the skin. I use it on my hair too. Why didn't they make a perfume out of this scent, they should. The Milk mist performs better in terms of projection and intensity, so if you want a colder, deeper lactonic, but still powdery scent go for the Milk one, it projects like a perfume on me.

Honey, sweet, floral, animalic, powdery, warm, luminous, feminine, sensual, charming, whimsical, enchanting, dreamy, delightful, cheerful, joyful, uplifting, alluring, tempting, addictive, soothing, inviting, cozy, comforting On me this opens with sweetly soft shea scent with a bit of a lotion-y vibe. As it dries down it really shines as the sweet golden honey takes center stage. The honey reads as realistic with floral, animalic, and slightly dusty like pollen nuances. Overall, this is a fragrance that I thoroughly enjoy! As for the reminds me section, I missed getting VS Honey Mist and B&BW Honey Wildflower, so was unfortunately not able to try either. However, I do own Marc Jacobs Honey (pretty, but actually my least favorite of the bunch), B&BW Rice Flower & Shea, Ellis Brooklyn Bee, and Phlur Honey Moon, and get similarities to a greater or lesser degree to all of them. I think it’s the most similar to Honey Moon (which happens to by my favorite honey centered fragrance!), although it’s more complex than Honeycomb. Honeycomb would likely later well with any of these similar scents as well as quite a few others, particularly vanillas, at least in my opinion. To me this feels feminine, and suitable for women of any age. I think it works well throughout the whole year as it’s sweet and cozy enough for colder weather, yet soft enough as to not be cloying in the heat. It seems most fitting for casual occasions and work/school. It would also make a great layering scent, and even a nice bedtime scent because of how soothing, cozy, and comforting it is. YES! So good!! It's such a great sweet, cozy, clean scent. It smells so good. It's definitely light, but I like that. It's a really easy body spray to reach for, and it smells especially good now that the weather is getting cooler. By the way, I personally find that thick honey scents can be a bit nauseating, but this is more shea dominant. It's not sickly sweet by any means. Perfect 💕 If you can find this during the $6 sale, get it!!

I genuinely have a hard time resisting honey scents, this one didn’t disappoint me one bit. It’s sweet & creamy, but it’s not overly sweet or over the top gourmand. It’s a pretty perfumey, almost clean smelling honey. Think musky honey covered flowers 🌻 🍯

I love this scent! Shea is honestly one of my favourite scents and combining it with honey is incredible. It projects well on me and lasts all day. I think it's a good fragrance to wear to work because it won't offend anyone.

Stronger and more floral than i thought it would be. I do really love this scent but way different than i expected. I always get compliments when wearing this and feels like i left a nice spa. Great for the price!

Such a nice cozy honey scent! But oh my god, this thing is /long lasting/. It overpowers several of my other fragrances (eg. Khamrah Qahwa) I like to layer it with, and lasts twice as long.

fantastic give me 14 of them This is pretty much a longer lasting PINK VS Honey Mist. It smells exactly like it and is more of a photorealistic honey vibe that I was after.

Very sweet, but not overpowering like real honey!! Small hints of coconut which I liked, overall a nice, lovely scent!

i somehow remember this smelling more realistic and waxy when it was out but after buying one secondhand it smells just like sugar water with a hint of coconut, very generic... im a bit disappointed but maybe i got scammed and its rebottled something else. idk. or maybe its just the shea overpowering any honey note that my nose can detect right now. its still pleasant regardless

i'm personally not a fan of fragrances that smell anything like a dessert so i was pleasantly surprised when i first smelled this and actually liked it. to me it comes off as a more natural honey flavor rather than a processed one and it's very cozy. i find that it pairs extremely well with all my floral perfumes, giving them a much warmer touch (˶˃ ᴗ ˂˶)

I really like honey notes, so I instantly bought this. I think it has a strong honey smell that layers well with my perfumes. Sometimes I catch a urine type smell, which is common with honey scents, but I usually only get this when it starts to warm up. Overall I really like this. I think the oil is better than the body spray.

Such a cozy scent, not overly sweet/gourmand, and the Shea is very present. This would be fantastic for layering. I think the balance of shea/honey/floral is not overly feminine or masculine and is a really pleasant and light fragrance. I snagged it for $4 on sale. Well worth it.

Super sweet and intimate. Has a brown sugar-y dry-down on me. Extremely cozy, I like it for bedtime or when I have a headache.

Very faint for my nose, love it as a bedtime scent. The dry down is powdery sweet and a bit nutty from the shea butter.

This scent IS screechy. And I never say that. It smells like shampoo to me, must be the shea.

musk + thick, waxy honey + an awfully screechy and synthetic scent get it away from me

Honeycomb Cereal & White Musk... I wasn't sure what to expect with this, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's not an overly sweet or animalic honey. but to me reads like a handful of Honeycomb cereal (or Honey Nut Cheerios) on a clean white musk base. It's on the lighter side, but inoffensive and could layer well with many things including other honey scents, white musk scents, floral scents, wheat scents, nutty scents and more. It's simple, but good. Enjoy!

I didn’t care for it much when I first got it feeling like it was a regret but now that it’s warming up, it’s so nice to wear in the early afternoon with the windows open, doing chores and what not around the house or out in the yard. It’s so clean and and sweet at the same time.
