Iced Lemon Pound Cake

Delicious lemon pound cake scent! It’s not too heavy on the lemon. In fact the lemon zest goes away rather quickly and you’ll be left with a yummy cake scent that is soft and satisfying. The mist doesn’t last very long at all. I pair it with the matching lotion and I get a longer wear time out of it. Side note about the lotion: Call me crazy but after about an hour or 2 the lotion turns full on vanilla and almost chocolatey on my skin? Must be the way my nose interprets it lol but I’m not mad about it. I rarely repurchase scents but a backup of this lotion will be in my cart again very soon. Overall this scent was a hit for me both in mist and lotion form. I wish the mist lasted longer but that’s my only criticism. If you love your cakey gourmands this will surely be your next favorite from B&BW.

Hot dang this smells good (24 version). Only problem is that it makes me hungry for chocolate and cake🙃 To me it smells very reminiscent of devotion on the dry down. I have a sample of devotion and for now I have decided not to purchase it because I think this fills the void for it. I can definitely see how people say it smells like butter, only for me it smells more like milky chocolate with some lemon pastry. It’s addicting. Probably not for a hot day or for when you’re hung over, but For a bath and Bodyworks scent it smells really delicious and good. Longevity is so so good. I put on the lotion before bed and can still smell it the next morning. Probably not the most “mature” fragrance but honestly I don’t care I love it.

For me, top three FFM from B and BW - it's creamy and lemony but cakey and after spraying about 30 min before- a man said - UGH you smell amazing. Whenever I spray this on me - instant happiness, calm, comfort, lemon cake goodness that melds comfortingly to freshly washed moisturized skin. It's very rare that I spray through FFM's from BBW - but this one has less than 25% left and I bought it just six months ago. It's hard to find. I cherish my bottle and my one back up. My other favourites from BBW are Pumpkin Pecan Waffles, Strawberry Poundcake, Vanilla Bean Noel, White Pumpkin and Chai, Sweetheart Cherry and Moonlit Martini.

This is the only FFM I've ever finished up (as of yet). I've got enough backups to last me a few years but I'm glad I have them. It's not the longest lasting mist ever, so you might want to overspray it to try and get some longevity out of it. It's great for layering too! I like to layer this over SDJ bum bum cream (sounds like a weird mix, but it's actually amazing together), and if I'm feeling extra, I'll add Oakcha's Italian Cello over it too (dupe for Lira). I also enjoy combining it with Blueberry Sugar pancakes or even with Eilish. It really just mixes well with most sweet vanillas and certain fruity notes.

My relationship with this mist is probably crazier than the fragrance itself. Impulse bought it on a Tuesday because I like lemons and I like cake— then I read a reddit post that said it smelled like buttered corn, and for like a week I couldn’t smell anything different from it. Ew. Cue the worst menstrual cramps of my life. I pulled an all nighter waiting for my meds to kick in, and somehow this mist was the only thing keeping me sane. The bright zesty lemon, the fluffy cake... We trauma bonded. Now I huff this mist every day. I luv you iced lemon poundcake you will always be famous 😭🫶

got this in 2023 - I think its a realistic lemon shortbread cookie scent. I love it. I recently finished it and didn't realize this wasn't available anymore. It's very lemony at the start, but as the top notes fade off.. it smells 100% as a vanilla shortbread cookie with just a tiny bit but mostly no lemon. It last very long on skin and also survives well on clothes. Id say a solid 4hrs. I enjoyed layering with other gourmand-pastry scents. I would purchase again if available, trying the "devotion" dupe to see if it's similar to this one. 8/10, definitely one of my fav body mists.

This is lemon cake with an emphasis on the CAKE part. The lemon is there, but it's not the star here to me. However it is very sweet, exactly like that lemon cake loaf you'd get from Starbucks. It doesn't last at all though. It lasts about 30 min-1 hr. I think this is best layered with the matching lotion PLUS a matching lemon-based perfume. I personally paired it with a fragrance body oil from Brown Sugar Babe called "Cloud 9" and the Victoria's Secret body mist Aqua Kiss" and it smelled heavenly! Compliments all day long.

I was so excited when this came out and I couldn't wait for my order so I sprayed White Citrus and Merry Cookie on myself from BBW and hoped this new mist would smell like that. I had plans to layer it with Lira by Xerjoff. When it arrived, it smelled great, but my White Citrus/Merry Cookie mixture was even better. The scent does not last very long as expected by BBW. Plan on layering it. Nevertheless, I am still very glad they released this scent in body care and I am very happy with it. It is absolutely delicious.

Smells amazing! Sweet pound cake with a light splash of lemon zest. The lemon is there in the beginning, but immediately disappears and you’re left with a cookie/pound cake scent. 20 minutes later everything disappears lol. No lemon and no pound cake. Douse yourself and pair this mist with the matching body wash and lotion to increase the longevity of the scent. I also pair this with Al-Rehab’s Soft perfume oil and the Soft perfume spray. Iced lemon pound cake smells so good just doesn’t last.

Very straight up warm cakey scents and a lil bit of lemon zest (i don't like this minute pinch of bitter smell but it wasn't much so..) I barely smell any lemon scent tho, but as a gourmand lover this feels like a cozy bakery in a really cold, snowing night. Like damn, my first ever bbw fullsize and it still holds the #1 place in me (wish the warm cakey note lasted longer TT) I have both new and old version of this, they smells not too much different.

Finally got it this time around because my first impression of this was not good. To me it smelled like butter, that's it and opted out getting it. This time, I am glad I got it despite my nose yet again only picking up a butter scent. It is SO GOOD! I dont even like lemon pastries or desserts but, I will just say, this next grocery trip I will definitely buy a lemon cake slice or SOMETHING similar. It smells THAT gourmand!! A new favorite!

to me this smells so true to its name. it smells like a yellow box cake with lemon juice in it that’s baking in the oven. it also has a slight nuttiness to it, so i’m surprised there’s no almond or pistachio note on here! i always get complements when i use this because it’s not a scent a lot of people expect from a gourmand. this is the most perfectttt blend between fruity and baked good that i’ve ever smelled from b&bw.

This is a true gourdmand scent. So photorealistic. It smells exactly like the iced lemon loaf from Starbucks. Spray with caution because it will make you crave sweet treats. My husband loves the way it smells on me. One night, I over sprayed before bed 🤭 and I got whiffs of it in the morning and of course had to run and grab a sweet treat with my coffee that morning! It's lovely!

this is one of my faves! i love this scent so much :) to me it just smells like a dry lemon cake. it lasts for a long time. (4 or 5 hours tops) and smells great in both hot or cold weather. i prefer to wear it when it is rainy or when i just get out of the shower. its not a very sharp lemon either, it is more like a warm cozy lemon. i think thats where the cake comes in

I love love love this scent. In my opinion, strawberry pound cake is way too sweet for me, so I thought the “Icing” part wouldn’t make this mist any better. But boy I was wrong. This smells exactly like this lemon pound cake my mom used to make. This smells like a cake with a hint of lemon, a perfect gourmand for the spring time in my opinion!

oh my god this is in my top three bath and bodywork’s scents ever, it’s so creamy and cakey. the lemon isn’t there after the first five minutes but it’s amazing- very photorealistic for a starbucks lemon loaf and it also highly resembles a fruit loop EDIT: the dry down is exactly the same as the comptoir sud pacifique vanille abricot perfume

Excuse me!! This smells exactly like lemon pound cake, I don't get the "iced" but I get the "cake". I can't stop smelling it. I'm trying to eat healthier and this is helping me satisfy that need of sweets. I can't seem to be able to wear it in warm-hot weather though. It smells like December bake goods.

Initial spray is lemon icing on vanilla cake. On dry down , the lemon is lost but you have a nice shortbread cookie. I love this for layering and this spray actually sits on the skin and clothes for about 3-6hrs. I will definitely repurchase on a mist sale. Great for gourmand,fresh and fruity layering

If I could float away on a River of this scent, I would. I didn’t know it was missing from my life and now I’m terrified that BBW will discontinue it. I feel like a hoarder loading up on canned goods 😂 I layer here with Devotion and babbeee...as James Brown once said, good god, wanna kiss myself.

This stuff is delicious! Smells like a vanilla lemon cake. It does kind of have candle vibes, but not in a bad way. I understand the resemblance to Lira, but the is not near as complex. This was a successful blindbuy- comforting and easy to wear- I find myself reaching for it quite a bit.

Out of all the high-end luxury Eau De Parfums that I own, Lemon Pound Cake Fine Fragrance Mist by Bath & Body Works is definitely a dupe for Kayali Capri In A Bottle Lemon Sugar | 14, Eau De Parfum. And the 2 of them absolutely layer beautifully together!

literally a lemon cake, delicious. i have a huge bottle, and wasn't sure if i'd like it but i really do! i bought the mist in case i don't find myself reaching for this scent profile, but when i finish it i'll buy devotion or one of its dupes.

oh my God, i hate strawberry pound cake so much but THIS is 100x better...so underrated!!! this is the first gourmand fragrance where i feel like it actually smells like delicious food...it smells exactly like a starbucks loaf. I love it 😍

A citrusy lemon cake absolutely beautiful not similar to lira in my opinion lira is a lot more complex and deeper and more long lasting so not dupes,it’s a lighter more citrusy version with not much complexity.

this smells exactly like a lemon pound cake from dunkin donuts or starbucks. its very buttery and it has the perfect amount of citrus and that glazed icing scent. love it! perfect for ALL seasons

Smelled literally like lemon biscuits I used to eat when I was a kid. This is BBW's discontinued scent, Tutti Dolci Sweet Lemon Buttercream, reborn.

I can't explain it, but besides lemon loaf, this actually smells like a mom and pop ice cream parlour to me! Love it.

Smells really good. Not overly sweet. The cake scent is more powerful than the lemon scent. I absolutely love it!

Popcorn. It reminds me of Cherosa 39 and it makes me soooo happy. I can't believe they discontinued that one.

This is a warm and inviting scent. Lemon cake with a vanilla glaze over top. I have to spray liberally in order to get any longevity and projection from the scent but when I do I always receive compliments. I like it more than I thought I would. If you like gourmand scents, it's a pleasant fragrance for daytime and casual wear. It's nice for summer and going into the fall. The dry down remains gourmand but not too sweet or heavy. I'm still enjoying this now that the weather is changing. Something about the cooler crisp air brings a new life to the fragrance. I wore it to the State Fair and received a couple of compliments and asked what I was wearing. Sometimes I use it before bed and it smells delicious and very cozy. Surprisingly if I use enough, the scent will last a decent amount of time on the skin and especially on clothing. I sprayed generously on my bedding and the following two nights I could still smell it. It smells delicious. 6/10 Sillage 6/10 Longevity 6/10 This smells lovely layered with TPH Indulge Me Seductive Fragrance Mist Vanilla + Tuberose.

Very gourmand, smells exactly like rich buttery hot pound cake. Not a vanilla cake with icing, but a butter pound cake. There is a difference. I really wish the lemon was more prominent. I love House of Sillage's Hufflepuff, which is a lemon vanilla. And I was hoping to have a cheaper spray I could use on days that I want that scent profile, without reaching for such an expensive bottle. However the lemon note fades very quick. While this does smell delicious, I still am not sure if I actually want to smell like butter pound cake? I will keep on hand for now but do not know if I will keep. P.S. the B&BW Iced Lemon Pound Cake Body Cream smells like a lemon vanilla cupcake, so more sugary and less buttery than the spray. I found the lemon way more pronounced in the body cream which I enjoyed.

This is so buttery and mouth watering, an absolute stunner. You know those cakes that are so moist they’re almost wet and have big air bubbles inside? This is what I smell from that. It’s not stale at all, it is lush, moist RICH CAKE. My only complaint is you have to over spray by miles to get any type of wear from this. And I cross my fingers they bring this back so we can all stock up. Nothing compares to iced lemon pound cake 🧁 🍋 in my opinion, it’s better than strawberry pound cake as it’s less juvenile and less artificial smelling. projection: 7.5/10 longevity: 4/10 fragrance: 10/10 true to notes: 10/10 packaging: 6/10

I do like this! I'm not too fond of how B&BW does their cake note. To my nose, it smells more like a ginger snap cookie with a touch of Fritos. But, I was able to work around this by layering. Iced Lemon Pound Cake is a whimsical, light-hearted fun gourmand--appropriate for easy-going occasions like running errands or lounging around the house. This fragrance will brighten your mood and lift your spirits. This is nice for any season, with average longevity and silage. In my opinion, this is a safe blind buy for all ages. I layered Iced Lemon Pound Cake with Adidas UPLFT, which is a nice, fresh citrus fragrance. These two complement one another well. UPLFT tones down the cookie-Fritos smell for me, allowing my nose to enjoy only lemony-goodness.

This is a really pleasant gourmand scent that even non-gourmand lovers can love! It smells like creamy lemon cake. It's not a sour citrus, it is a very creamy gourmand vanilla milky citrus. I love it! It works well in spring, summer, and fall, and is a great day scent. The only thing is, I don't want to smell like lemons every day, so it wouldn't wear it as my signature daily scent. The smell of lemons is also very comforting for when I'm under the weather. The only issue is, it's Bath and Body Works, so it doesn't stay on that long. You'll have to pair it with a lotion and consistently overspray. BTW: JR Watkins Lemon Cream scent is a dupe for this, and just as good if you don't live in the US and now that this scent is discontinued.

I just finished my bottle today and let me tell you that I grew to really love this one. I did not like it for a long time, as the scent smelled too thick and rich when paired with the moisturizer. However, after using up my cream and I started to finally play around with some scent combinations. And boy, that was the secret all along. When paired with sweet vanillas like BBW Milk Bar Birthday Cake and Vanilla Confetti Sparkle this scent really shines. The vanillas brought a nice creamy balance to this lemon-forward pound cake heavy hitter. When used in a combo and with Viva La Juicy Gold Couture and the base layer, it melts into your skin creating a warm, mouth watering experience. So good! Kinda bummed I used it up today.

this is sooo good. strawberry poundcake can be a little much especially in the hotter months, but this is a perfectly photorealistic iced lemon poundcake scent--the kind of poundcake you'd find in the grocery store, a little synthetic but weirdly addictive. so comforting and cozy, and it projects well for bath and body works mists lately. the longevity is better than some of the other recent releases, but it's not as long lasting as strawberry poundcake. i don't tend to enjoy lemon notes but this is a light enough lemon and a heavy enough poundcake for me to enjoy lol. juvenile but wonderful and i could wear this during the day year-round.

I absolutely love this scent. It smells more like pound cake than lemon. I am normally someone who does not like citruses in my fragrances, but this is all cake with lemon zest! I wish they would come out with a perfume in this scent, because the body spray really does not last. I douse myself in this stuff and it wears off within an hour. I do have the body wash and the lotion and that does last longer when layered. I actually had to go on eBay and buy back up bottles because I never want to be without these scented products.

A true gourmand smells exactly like an iced lemon pound cake, Its yummy the lemon zest to it is great. At first I was wondering if I want to smell like a cake probably not in public but I love this for nights in its a cozy comforting bed time scent, the lotion and the body spray smell exactly alike.

I bought it because I felt in love with the candle . IT DOESNT LAST AT ALL !!!! I’m sad 😞 . I’m trying to find a good perfume to layer it with . I’m looking forward for the future comments to see any suggestion as Fragrantica DOESNT a respond feature for comments 🥲

Smells EXACTLY like its name: very buttery, artificial lemon, with a thin layer of sugary white frosting. The kind that is sold by the slice, shrink wrapped, at the convenience store. There only ever seems to be one left, and it's yours today!

This reminds me exactly of an storebought lemon loaf with powdered sugar lemon icing. There is not much more to say. The longevity is unfortunately very bad, the minute it settled after spraying the scent is not noticeable anymore.

At first I smell popcorn, then the lemon comes through. I don't usually go for Bath & Body Works as I find them synthetic, but this is quite pleasant. I'll use it to fill the void of Devotion until I can afford it, I'm enjoying it

This is GOOD wow. Tart, creamy, pretty strong and realistic. It's really beautiful. It would pair well with lira for sure. If a man smelled like this it would bring me to my knees but I'd also think he worked at a bakery

Used to be one of my favs, a delicious lemon cake scent. Straightforward and goes great with al rehab soft for a lemon vanilla treat smell that lasts 7+ hours😋

Smells exactly like how I would envision a lemon cake to smell like. It's a nice smell but not something I would wear. Maybe for grade school kids?
