Into The Night

The scent notes are raspberry noir, amber crystals, velvety rose petals, creamy patchouli and mocha musk. The notes listed here in fragnantica are wrong. There is most definitely no jasmine note here 🤦♀ This is a bit of a complex scent with lots of notes going on here but I primarily detect only three notes. There is a jammy dark raspberry note, not creamy but dusty patchouli and the amber crystals. I don't get any sort of floral notes in here or any mocha/caffeine like musk. So this opens up with a blast of patchouli which smells a bit like dirty soil. Then it warms up a little bit and you get a dark jammy raspberry note shining through along with the warm amber. The raspberries come off muddled as if they had been buried in the soil or something. The amber note is quite prominent here along with the raspberry as it gives the raspberry an extra push to shine more. After a couple of hours the scent turns musky on the skin and the raspberry noir becomes the heart of the fragrance. This is a mysterious and alluring scent. This is strictly date night or going out to a club kind of fragrance. A black dress with stiletto & red lipstick will be complimentary with this fragrance. It definitely has the ability to catch someones attention if you deck up properly while spritzing a couple of sprays of this. If you love your raspberries smelling a bit jammy and dark you can blind buy this easily. Don't be scared of the patchouli, it goes away quite fast. Projection and longevity is top notch with this. It's strong on its own in the fine fragrance mist and lasts about 6/7 hours easily on my skin.

It’s the sophisticated kind of sexy. I’m in my late 20s and this has a grip on me like no other. If you’re someone who loves giving femme fatale vibes and dress in deep, dark colors and be the girl that’s unreachable and mysterious ,this is most definitely for you. It’s raspberry noir on the initial spray, which is deep and less sweet and attention grabbing. It gives into a deep Amber and velvety rose , the velvet part smells identical to what velvet petals from Victoria’s Secret smells like. The dry down is , for me, a deep coffee scented musk and chocolate , with a nice patchouli. It is fantastic in silage and lasting power. I can sometimes even smell it in my clothes after wash. Hands down the best in the lines of BBW for me, which I’m not really a fan of saved for Into the night and Midnight Amber Glow. This is straight up a perfume-y body mist from them. A tip, if you want more sophisticated perfume and want to still smell like all the gourmand smells in one, layer this on top of midnight amber glow and no one will ever forget you.

Scentmojis: 🌃🎩🌙🍒🥃 Into the Night is such a beautiful, dark, mysterious, rich, and sensual fragrance. It’s one of my absolute favorites from Bath & Body Works, and is in the neighborhood of (but not a dupe for) Black Opium and Euphoria. Actually, I think it beats those fragrances because it’s sweeter and juicier. Imagine Amber Romance / Sensual Amber plus dark fruit and maybe a hint of pepper. When I first smelled it, I didn’t think I liked it. I was picking up incense or potpourri. It felt a little too mature, and reminded me of my mom so I set it aside to give to her. But after a while, I’d spray it every so often, just to test the waters. It didn’t take long for me to give up entirely on the idea of giving it to my mom. There’s something about it that feels like maybe I shouldn’t like it . . . yet I do anyway. I think it’s because it’s not a light, fruity, feminine, or pink fragrance in any sense. But that’s precisely what makes it stand out as a lovely change of pace.

I initially picked this up for the packaging years ago. I pretty much ignored it. One day I smelled a coworker and I couldn’t stop, she told me she had this on and I was excited I had it in my small collection of body sprays. I have been using it ever since. My daughter says it’s over worn by school mates. I just love it, it’s comforting and I have been wearing it for about 3-4 years now. I hope they never change this. I dislike the BBW perfume version. It spoiled on me rapidly and just did not wear as well on me at all. I get lots of compliments on this one and sometimes I go nose blind to it, I won’t smell it on me anymore but people will ask me what I am wearing. Coworkers say they can smell when I pass by even though I am not very close to them. For a body spray this is gold for me, I have a bottle of it everywhere and I love the body cream as well. Highly recommend. Spraying on clothes makes it last longer, though the skin scent it also intoxicating for me.

This is the most long-lasting one, by far. Mine smells almost identical to Dark Velvet Oud. The only difference they have is that this has Amber instead of Agarwood, but they definitely smell 95 percent the same. Their longevity is almost identical, too. I have a special place for the raspberry and rose combination, since I am not a fan of the rose scent itself or with other flowers. This combination gives me the luxury of enjoying the rose fragrance. Back to the longevity part, this one is the GOAT. I can smell it for a couple of days on my clothes, for real. Dark Velvet Oud lasts for about a day and a half, but this one just takes the cake. The projection is insane, too. The notes just explode with every spray. Sillage-wise, it is also strong. Anyone can smell this beyond arm's length. Best worn during the nighttime and cold weather. 10/10 for me.
