Into The Night

The scent notes are raspberry noir, amber crystals, velvety rose petals, creamy patchouli and mocha musk. The notes listed here in fragnantica are wrong. There is most definitely no jasmine note here 🤦♀ This is a bit of a complex scent with lots of notes going on here but I primarily detect only three notes. There is a jammy dark raspberry note, not creamy but dusty patchouli and the amber crystals. I don't get any sort of floral notes in here or any mocha/caffeine like musk. So this opens up with a blast of patchouli which smells a bit like dirty soil. Then it warms up a little bit and you get a dark jammy raspberry note shining through along with the warm amber. The raspberries come off muddled as if they had been buried in the soil or something. The amber note is quite prominent here along with the raspberry as it gives the raspberry an extra push to shine more. After a couple of hours the scent turns musky on the skin and the raspberry noir becomes the heart of the fragrance. This is a mysterious and alluring scent. This is strictly date night or going out to a club kind of fragrance. A black dress with stiletto & red lipstick will be complimentary with this fragrance. It definitely has the ability to catch someones attention if you deck up properly while spritzing a couple of sprays of this. If you love your raspberries smelling a bit jammy and dark you can blind buy this easily. Don't be scared of the patchouli, it goes away quite fast. Projection and longevity is top notch with this. It's strong on its own in the fine fragrance mist and lasts about 6/7 hours easily on my skin.

It’s the sophisticated kind of sexy. I’m in my late 20s and this has a grip on me like no other. If you’re someone who loves giving femme fatale vibes and dress in deep, dark colors and be the girl that’s unreachable and mysterious ,this is most definitely for you. It’s raspberry noir on the initial spray, which is deep and less sweet and attention grabbing. It gives into a deep Amber and velvety rose , the velvet part smells identical to what velvet petals from Victoria’s Secret smells like. The dry down is , for me, a deep coffee scented musk and chocolate , with a nice patchouli. It is fantastic in silage and lasting power. I can sometimes even smell it in my clothes after wash. Hands down the best in the lines of BBW for me, which I’m not really a fan of saved for Into the night and Midnight Amber Glow. This is straight up a perfume-y body mist from them. A tip, if you want more sophisticated perfume and want to still smell like all the gourmand smells in one, layer this on top of midnight amber glow and no one will ever forget you.

Scentmojis: 🌃🎩🌙🍒🥃 Into the Night is such a beautiful, dark, mysterious, rich, and sensual fragrance. It’s one of my absolute favorites from Bath & Body Works, and is in the neighborhood of (but not a dupe for) Black Opium and Euphoria. Actually, I think it beats those fragrances because it’s sweeter and juicier. Imagine Amber Romance / Sensual Amber plus dark fruit and maybe a hint of pepper. When I first smelled it, I didn’t think I liked it. I was picking up incense or potpourri. It felt a little too mature, and reminded me of my mom so I set it aside to give to her. But after a while, I’d spray it every so often, just to test the waters. It didn’t take long for me to give up entirely on the idea of giving it to my mom. There’s something about it that feels like maybe I shouldn’t like it . . . yet I do anyway. I think it’s because it’s not a light, fruity, feminine, or pink fragrance in any sense. But that’s precisely what makes it stand out as a lovely change of pace.

I initially picked this up for the packaging years ago. I pretty much ignored it. One day I smelled a coworker and I couldn’t stop, she told me she had this on and I was excited I had it in my small collection of body sprays. I have been using it ever since. My daughter says it’s over worn by school mates. I just love it, it’s comforting and I have been wearing it for about 3-4 years now. I hope they never change this. I dislike the BBW perfume version. It spoiled on me rapidly and just did not wear as well on me at all. I get lots of compliments on this one and sometimes I go nose blind to it, I won’t smell it on me anymore but people will ask me what I am wearing. Coworkers say they can smell when I pass by even though I am not very close to them. For a body spray this is gold for me, I have a bottle of it everywhere and I love the body cream as well. Highly recommend. Spraying on clothes makes it last longer, though the skin scent it also intoxicating for me.

This is the most long-lasting one, by far. Mine smells almost identical to Dark Velvet Oud. The only difference they have is that this has Amber instead of Agarwood, but they definitely smell 95 percent the same. Their longevity is almost identical, too. I have a special place for the raspberry and rose combination, since I am not a fan of the rose scent itself or with other flowers. This combination gives me the luxury of enjoying the rose fragrance. Back to the longevity part, this one is the GOAT. I can smell it for a couple of days on my clothes, for real. Dark Velvet Oud lasts for about a day and a half, but this one just takes the cake. The projection is insane, too. The notes just explode with every spray. Sillage-wise, it is also strong. Anyone can smell this beyond arm's length. Best worn during the nighttime and cold weather. 10/10 for me.

This is the best thing Bath and Body Works has ever done and if they ever discontinue it I might actually cry. It’s dark, it’s sexy, it’s sweet, and it’s so wonderfully affordable. It smells expensive, but it isn’t. It shares my favourite base combination (vanilla and patchouli) with many of my favourite perfumes (ie. Black Opium, Good Girl, and Flowerbomb), which makes it GREAT for layering with these fragrances by using the lotions or body washes of this scent. My signature is Into the Night body wash, and Black Opium together. Smells like a mysterious, musky, goth dream. This is a 10/10 as far as Bath and Body Works goes, it better stick around forever. Also they should bring the candle version of it back because I’ve never gotten more compliments on the smell of my house than when I’ve recently burnt an Into the Night candle.

Easily one of my top faves from bbw! Fell in love with this instantly in the store today and added it to my wishlist without a second thought. It is very potent with just one spray and smells similar to a high end perfume, be careful because it can be cloying. I find this mysterious, sophisticated with little hints of sexy. It has this almost dew like scent but it also has this deep richness. Not sure if patchouli is in here, but anyways it gives me * cool older sister / cousin / aunt * vibes in the best way possible. I'd even go as far as to say this is signature worthy. The girl I imagine wearing this is one who is private, walks into a room with confidence and people wanna either be with her or be her because she's that girl! All I gotta say is yessss💅

Let me preface this review by saying that I currently only own this fragrance in the form of the body lotion in the repackaged opaque black bottle. I absolutely love this. Without looking at the notes, I get a tart cherry, patchouli, black licorice and a bit of vanilla to round everything out. If someone had squeezed a bit of this onto my palms and told me it was the lotion to Guerlain's La Petite Robe Noire, I would've believed them. Of course, smelling the two side by side produces an obvious difference, but if I had to judge from memory alone, I wouldn’t have really noticed. An absolute banger. Side note: if the mists end up being disappointing in any BBW scents, try the lotions (not creams) and butters. They're generally loads better - or so I think.

Wow. We all know B&BW... they’ve had some nice scents over the years that were super for layering. But Into the Night (the entire line) is in a whole different category. I have them all (except the shampoo and conditioner) and the product’s is VERY consistent. This body spray, listed here, lays wonderfully on the skin with a gorgeous skin and a sexy, sultry smell. The depth and quality of this spell is really unparalleled for a B&BW product. No layering needed, this line of products stands on its own. Depending on what you’re looking for (body spray, perfume, body wash or lotions) - they all smell amazing - exactly the same and can be used individually or in harmony. Interestingly, of all the products the body spray has the smallest silage.

I sprayed Pearberry, Cucumber Melon and Country Apple without abandon as a late 90s teenager! Fast forward 10 years later, and it’s all about Japanese Cherry Blossom. The warm, sultry scent overtook my apartment. Then I got “too good” for BBW and that was a shame. I missed out on a lot of great fragrances, I’m sure! Over the past few years I have gotten candles, but didn’t pay a lot of attention to the body sprays. Into the Night brought me back!! I love the dark raspberry coulis, chocolate and patchouli in this (I don’t think it actually has patchouli, but more of that earthy depth it brings). It’s a little more mature and complex. If you like a fragrance in the Black Opium family, you’ll like this!

One of the best scents from Bath and Body Works. I first had the hand lotion of this scent and whenever I would put it on, someone in the room would say 'someone smells nice'. People would also notice the scent and would compliment me when I spray this on. It is sweet, feminine and creamy, definitely nice for the colder months or evenings. I think that the initial spray is definitely more sweet- a friend told me I smelt like gummy bears immediately after putting this on but in a nice, pleasant way (although not sure if that's possible!). However, after a while it dries down warmer and creamier. I would definitely recommend getting the hand lotion first to try or alongside this to layer.

First off, it does not smell like black opium. Second, if you go into it knowing that, it's a pleasant scent. Would layer great with black opium or britney spears perogative. Smells mature yet isn't strong. Great for layering. It more resembles very sexy night by victorias secret. But dry down has more of a berry scent. So it is not the same. Smells great. Just don't expect it to be something it isn't. I can see myself layering those. I also layered it with coffee and whiskey from bbw and I love it. Picked myself up some during the sale. It's worth it when it's 6 to 7 bucks each or buy 3 get 3 sale. Lotion is stronger than the mist.

It's more complex that it should be at this price point, and I mean that in the best way possible. I blind bought it and was honestly a little underwhelmed at first, after the first spray. But it bloomed really well on my skin. Blossomed into this gorgeous slightly sweet and overall very warm, lovely scent. It lasts pretty well on moisturized skin, 3-4 hours. Way longer on clothes, my t-shirt from yesterday still smells divine. I'd wear this anytime-- day or night. You can get away with it if you're conservative with how much you spray.

I can’t believe more people aren’t mentioning it, but this is an almost exact dupe of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. Like as in shamelessly so, except this one is a bit brighter and cleaner somehow. I wore it to a dinner party last night and this morning I still smell like it, so it lasts a long while. I see it as listed as a dupe for Black Opium but I don’t think it’s as close, perhaps on the dry-down but not really right out of the bottle. Someone else on here said it smells like an old auntie...ok I guess your aunties smell great, then.

As of 2022 the notes listed on the Bath and Body Works website are raspberry noir, amber crystals, velvety rose petals, creamy patchouli and mocha musk. I definitely get the raspberry patchouli in the forefront and the ambery musk in the background. There's no jasmine that I can pick out as listed here. This is fragrance is definitely in the same vein as La Nuit Tresor and Coco Mademoiselle and it lasts just about as long. I will always keep a bottle if this around.

This scent will always have a part of my heart. It is so deep and mysterious. It’s quite complex for a Bath and Body Works fragrance and it’s definitely my favorite one by them. It’s fruity and heady but the amber brings in depth. I love to use this as the base for the rest of my perfumes. At the moment using Kayali Vanilla 28 layered on top has been a favorite! And the price is definetly one of the best parts! ☺️ also it lasts for quite some time! At the end of my 8 hour work day a coworker commented on how good it smelled haha.

This scent is my fav from bath n body works! its deep and ambery. It smells more expensive than most if not all of the other scents made by Bath n body works. I wear this on the skin after the shower and layer Choco musk the spray on top for a long lasting and day to night smell. Appropriate for work and if you want to go out after work without changing ur scent. I also wear this scent alone and it wears fairly good. I would say it lasts for 4-5 hours on average, sometimes longer.

Affordable body mist that smells similar to high end fragrances. This scent reminds me of...SDJ After Hours, YSL Black Opium, and a little of V&R Flowerbomb Nectar. I own those fragrances as well and can say with certainty that B&BW Into the Night has similar DNA and much easier on your bank account. Scent projection and longevity is pretty decent for a body mist. For under $5 CAD (on sale) i’m very satisfied with this purchase and would repurchase again

Amazing strength/longevity for a body spray. I can still smell this on my clothes days later. As for the scent itself, I feel like I'm only picking up on the raspberry, rose, mocha and musk. I don't get much patchouli or amber, unless I'm just so used them being heavier like in my other fragrances, they just aren't standing out in this. I don't know, but I love this profile and want to check out some other perfumes in the same vein.

I got this last week and I have been obsessed since. The patchouli and amber are so nice in this fragrance bringing a sense of maturity to an otherwise fruity and nostalgic scent. I layer this with Midnight Fantasy to give it extra longevity but if you have the lotion the body spray does last much longer. I will be getting back-ups of the lotion and spray because this has easily become my new favorite from B&BW.

I'm in love with this. The scent is very subtle but it's long lasting. This is definitely the perfect scent to wear if you’re planning on going out but I feel like you can get away with wearing this anywhere anytime even at work. For me this is perfect for everyday wear. No matter if you’re going out or not because it's not very strong. I tried this for the first time and I didn't expect to love this so much.

I love this scent its very nighttime, smells super expensive, and very mature. I like how the rose note isn't too much. I'm having a hard time describing it, all I know is that it smells good LOL. Very perfumey and sexy. It lasts and projects so well for a body mist, especially in cold weather!! I love pairing this with Valentino DBIR intense, Oribe Cote de azure, or ysl libre le parfum!

I received this as a Christmas gift a few years ago and loved the fragrance. The berries add brightness to that initial spray, but it's not overly fruity. Feminine, but not girly. Of course, it's only a body spray so the longevity and sillage were meh. But if like me you're a young woman making the transition from cutesy body sprays to real perfume, this might be great for you.

I'm a "BBW" employee! Last year around "Christmas" time! I had on "Into The Night" lotion, "Into The Night" spray, and "La Belle"! By "Jean Paul Gaultier"! Ma two lady co workers had me write "La Belle" down! On a blank receipt paper fa them! Da lady I was checkin out! Had me pull up "La Belle" perfume! On ha phone! Found dis layerin combo on "Tik Tok" btw! Loved it! 12/10!💓💓

This smells very high quality for a body spray. I agree with the comparisons to La Nuit Tresor-- a jammy red fruit with a sugary balsamic sweetness and a touch of patchouli for depth. Smells delicious and sexy. If you are accustomed to heavier scents this is very wearable daytime or nighttime, all seasons (maybe avoid hot weather as it is quite sweet).

One of my favorites from Bath and Body Works. It smells so fruity and sexy and it reminds me of chocolate covered raspberries. This doesn't last long on my skin however it lasts a very long time on my clothes. This fragrance is decently strong as well so you dont have to overspray.

espresso martinis, pink cotton candy, raspberries dipped into a chocolate fountain. seductively sweet bordering on cloying, but dissipates quickly enough to not be heady. good to keep in the car to use when you're driving to an impromptu hookup. not that I'd know from experience.

I blind bought this on discount, even though I was skeptical since I don’t usually go for fruity scents, they tend to come off as too juvenile for my taste. However, this is a very pleasant blend with amber, which balances it by adding maturity, making it sexy and sultry.

To those of you trying to guess which designer fragrance this is comparable to...it’s Lancôme La Nuit Tresor. The pre 2019 reformulation version to be more exact. 👍🏻 It’s my signature scent and I use Into The Night as my layering lotion when I wear La Nuit.

Smells like YSL Black Opium and/or Chanel Coco Mademoiselle but not right out of the bottle, you have to wait an hour or so. To the point I didn’t buy any more YSL BO because it was close enough. Nothing to hate except I wish BBW packaging wasn’t so ugly.

Fruity but a little complex. I love, love, love a woodsy amber note. I douse myself in this before I start working and always get compliments. Wish it lasted a little longer, wish it was ever so slightly less sweet. Such a fun smell, flirty even.

Best B&BW fragrance hands down. This is my go-to for casual outings and I don't want to spray something expensive on. To be honest this smells more expensive than a lot of fragrances I've smelled from luxury brands. 10/10 value, 10/10 scent.

BBW really did a solid one with this fragrance. It's unique, it is luxurious, it stands out on its own, on my skin it doesn't last as long but on clothes, I can still smell it 2 days later. This one remains my favourite.

smells soo good, reminds me of a designer perfume. it gives that grown and sexy vibe! perfect for night time aswell, and it lasts long! it can be quite overbearing so wouldn’t recommend to spray a lot, very strong.

Stronger than a normal BBW mist. I use the body butter, and mist. It pairs well with Coco Noir for fall and winter or any evening. I agree that it resembles the Sofia Vergara scent.

This is being compared to BLACK OPIUM by YSL? Not even close. Don't buy this if you're wanting a dupe of that fragrance. They are both very different.
