I don't mind the lily of the valley note in this one, tbh. I actually like how it leans onto an aquatic, soapy, and sort of powdery floral category. This is great to pair with linear florals that need more depth or dimension. It can be unisex but it smells like the fresh, clean, and feminine type of woody floral. This is great worn at daytime during summer/spring.

i love this fragrance so much! i definitely agree that the lavender isn't the strongest note, which might be why i enjoy it so much. to me, it's quite aquatic, and has a very fresh uplifting vibe. i'm so glad i also have the shower gel because this is the PERFECT clean morning shower fragrance to me.

If you want a calming lavender, the kind of lavender that gets you to bed at night, I don’t think Lavender in Bloom is right for you. I have mixed feelings about the fragrance. On one hand, I love lavender, mostly because my mom loved it, so I have positive attachments whenever I smell it. On the other hand, this fragrance has a couple key notes that make it difficult for me to enjoy this one: sun-washed driftwood and lily of the valley. I suppose I’m just not a fan of lily of the valley. Mix that floral in with an overwhelming beachy note of driftwood, and it becomes this concoction of strangely salty florals. The lavender, who is the first note, feels overshadowed by the other two notes.
