Life's a Fairytale

I previously reviewed this, but since I’ve had more time to experience it, I thought I’d write an updated review that’s a bit more in depth. Sweet, fruity, floral, woody, luminous, feminine, sensual, flirty, charming, whimsical, enchanting, magical, dreamy, delightful, alluring, tempting, addictive, inviting, cozy, comforting This is super pretty! It reads as an almost fluffy marshmallow-y/cotton candy berry scent with touches of floral and woodsy notes. It opens with a radiant and juicy burst of sweet yet tart berries (I definitely get blueberry🫐 and I think blackberry). As it dries down the berries become softer, and the floral and woodsy notes intertwine and balance out the fruity notes beautifully. It does seem to have a soft, fluffy marshmallow-y vanilla, especially in the base. Yes, it’s a fairly simple scent, but it’s honestly just so very pretty, and sometimes simple is just what you want. At the moment I just have this in the FFM, but should probably grab the lotion too while it’s still available. This actually reminds me quite a bit of LoveShackFancy Berry Kiss because that’s a marshmallow-y blueberry scent. I’m also reminded of B&BW Blueberry Bundt Cake, although that has prominent honey and cake-y vanilla notes, whereas this is a lighter, more cotton candy/marshmallow blueberry with floral touches, and a woody base. I also think it’s somewhat similar to Phlur Vanilla Blackberry, although I get a softer blackberry here with a touch of vanilla, while Vanilla Blackberry has a very prominent blackberry with a softer vanilla, and no blueberry. I do see why some people are reminded of Wonderstruck, though that’s a more fruity cloudberry berry scent while this definitely has blueberry and I think some blackberry and vanilla. I also see a similarity to Sweet Like Candy with its marshmallow-y berry scent. This feels super feminine to me, and suitable for women of any age. I think this is most fitting during the spring, summer, and fall, but can definitely work year round. I think it’s most suitable for casual occasions and work/school. I’ve always really enjoyed BBW fragrances and products! It reminds me of those old strawberry scented strawberry shortcakes doll heads. honestly kinda nostalgic and comforting. very sweet and slightly woody to me, i love it.

Absolutely reminds me of OG forever red along with cotton candy

Lovely, sweet woody fruity scent. Kinda similar to BBW Blush Cardigan. I like this because it's very woody, but also very sweet which is lowkey hard to find idk?? am I just crazy? I definitely would say more of a fall scent, and I LOVE layering this with Kayali Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar!!! Still haven't found a lotion I love layering with it to help its performance, but it's still amazing as is! Definitely recommend, also my personal fav from the princess line. Unfortunately, all the others I wasn't a huge fan of.

Editing my review from earlier: This went from a love to a like for me. It's still very good, but I don't reach for it often. It smells like a high-end creamy, raspberry vanilla I don't get much of the woodiness. I get a creamy vanilla with a sugary sweetness and a berry note. It smells like a pastry with berry filling and vanilla icing sort of. I will say that the mist is super weak, but the cream helps it linger. Overall, a delicious, sugary gourmand with a berry twist

B&BW typically, to me, has a repetitive, one-dimensional sweet vanilla-sugar note. This one has that, of course, but I was surprised by its initial sharpness. Eventually, it settles into a creamier, artificial (not in a bad way) candied berry scent. It has a cotton candy, milky scent with deeper, sharper hints of a woody note. I was surprised by how distinct this one was, tbh. Overall, it's inoffensive, girly, and pretty.

A soft sweet floral woody fragrance. Synthetic of course but pretty. Easy. Non offense. If you like abstract flowers and sweet fruity woody fragrances this is easy and inexpensive.

This is a nice fragrance, to my nose it does come across as quite peppery after the fruity berry subtle floral notes dry down. At first spray, it is fruity sweet with the notes of wood coming through, I do not get a whole lot of floral. As it dries down it is woody and again I find this to be peppery. On skin, I do find it to be pretty basic and not nearly as peppery.

We have a bottle of the handsoap in the restroom at my job. I used it this afternoon, and it's on my hands right now. It smells absolutely putrid! Like rotten raspberries and that old-school skanky patchouli folks wore in the 1960's and 70's. Whoever said "cough syrup realness" below was spot on! It's like Robitussin that went bad. I don't know where people are getting a vanilla note from. I smell something sweet, but not vanilla. It's giving more cotton candy or spun sugar vibes. I have the lotion, the body wash, and the body mist at home, but I had not opened them before using the soap at work. Planning to offload them on one of my daughters because I cannot see myself wearing this.

Has a sour milk type smell to it that is super strong when it is first sprayed. Once it dries down the scent is so much better but that sour scent still lingers in the background. Will be returning.

Wonderstruck. My daughter is a total Swifty so l could just feel the smooth bottle and it's charms when l got this scented carriage night light. But yeah, it's giving 2010.

vanilla romance + forever red. this is slightly nauseating because it's so sweet. there's also a metallic note in the dry down.

smells cheap asf and headache inducing.

This smells like fruit loops or smarties to me in the best way. Its understated and very wearable. Points on it also being a fragrance made from one note from each of the princesses in the collection, I just think thats a cute detail. I was pleasently surprised by this one

Nope. Absolutely nope. I can't stand this fragrance. If you want to smell like cheap lollipops (that give cough syrup realness), then this is for you.

Oh i love it so much! I think it's whimsical and so pretty. I love the packaging too i think it's cute and really giving fairytale vibe. 10/10

This fragrance is very effervescent. Almost spicy and woody.. Idk but smelling it, reminds me of Dr. Pepper/Coke.

It smelled so much like vanilla to me..it smelled like mod vanilla.

This is Forever red with a bit more vanilla
