Loyal To You

I wore this yesterday and I really loved my scent bubble while I was at work. Wafts of it kept swirling up around me and it was just making me happy. I find that this strikes a near perfect balance between fresh and edible. It brings visions of freshly baked lemon loaves drizzled with vanilla glaze that you're serving to someone outside on a sunny day with a light breeze and the fresh air carrying very light scents from the garden. For me, it's a little more gourmand than fresh but the freshness tempers the sweetness and adds something that gives it depth, brightness and character. It's not a straight forward gourmand but the yumminess factor is there. I enjoyed this scent very much and I am totally impressed by this fragrance. I wore the body mist but I am totally going to pick up a travel spray in the perfume version soon!

I have had both Loyal to You by Bath & Body Works, and Devotion by Dolce & Gabbana. I’ve compared them side by side numerous times. They are very identical. I will never forgive B&BW for discontinuing Loyal to You. On me, it projected better than Devotion. The body cream was also amazing. Thankfully Devotion still exists as this is my most favorite scent ever. Although it’s a lot more expensive, I can’t live without it ✨ I loved Loyal to You so much. Lemon cake, marshmallowy, nostalgic, and comforting. 🍋 🎂✨💛

I don't think this is a perfect dupe for Devotion - more like its sweeter and less lemony cousin. But I think a Devotion fan would enjoy this regardless. On my skin: marshmallow with just the right amount of sweetness, and a little bit of lemon in the middle. Really nice scent, and like the other Everyday Luxuries, the mist performs better than other B&BW mists. If I needed more sweet scents (I do not atm), I'd definitely get this during the $6 body care sales.

Loyal To You is my favorite from the new luxury line. It smells like as if you are eating lemon cookies in a field of flowers. My only two complaints with this is that I wish there was less orange blossom, because sometimes it comes off a little sunscreen-y. And the other would be that I wish the scent lasted longer. The perfume's duration seems to be the same as the body mist. But citrus scents usually don't last long.

I’m not usually a gourmand girl, but I enjoy the lemon vanilla scent in this. It’s my go to winter scent. It smells like a lemon iced pound cake.

This smells identical to Oakcha Lemon Cake. It's a slightly sweet lemon scent with vanilla and a bit of orange blossom. Truly lovely and soft.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Perfect bergamot-vanilla-orange flower (I don't really get "lemon" from this.) Makes me want to buy Devotion!

This is pretty similar to Devotion, but more edible. Its such a yummy fresh gourmand and wearable in all seasons.

Smells just like Girl Scout lemon up coookies!!

I like it, but not sure I like it as much as Bake by Akro. Comparatively, this one smells more... almost lactonic? Or maybe it's the marshmallow (a bit of a synthetic marshmallow, if so) and I'm not a huge fan of this one specific lactonic note I sometimes pick up - still haven't figured it out as I'm pretty new to perfume, so take that with a grain of salt. Anyway, smells like a lemon cake with a bit more of that creaminess / milkiness than I expected. I'll have to compare this with Lattafa's Victoria and D&G's Devotion (from what I recall, I preferred Devotion when I smelled it in store but I only have a travel size of Loyal to You at home). I think you could probably manage to wear it year-round, though, if you're the kind of person who likes smelling super-gourmand-y or like a photorealistic dessert! Still enjoyable and great price point, not overpowering (though sweet, so could be cloying to some but I feel the creaminess actually rounds that out a bit) and a bit weaker on longevity but not terrible either. :)

Exact Devotion dupe but actually even better!! Devotion is a bit screechy with that lemon cleaner scent at first. Loyal to You is like Devotion but perfectly blended and even a bit more gourmand. However, Devotion definitely lasts longer and remains on clothes for days. But for Bath and Body Works, Loyal to You isn't so bad. It lasts a few hours on clothes! I would pair this with Devotion to really make it last and create a bubble of this scent!

Definitely smells like Devotion. The dry down is where this one shines. Same with the OG, I hate the opening notes. Like straight up lemon pledge. But the dry down is stunning. Airy, fluffy lemon and super wearable. Perfect for spring and if you’re on a budget!

It's nearly identical to Devotion. This is not as creamy and not as much vanilla in the drydown. It's still an excellent fragrance. It's in the realm of vanilla lemon, lemon cake pop, iced lemon pound cake, etc. as previously offered by Bath and Body Works.

I bought this to pair with the body cream. It smelled generic to me on first sniff, but it became delicious after I let it sit for a while. It's not super lemony, but I enjoy it regardless.

D&G Devotion dupe. I have the body wash and the cream to layer with Devotion. Smells wayyyy better than Iced Lemon Poundcake which turns popcorn-like on me.

died 2024 born 2025 welcome back iced lemon pound cake

Meh. Nice lemon but too sweet for me. I tried this in the store because it was new, I was not looking for a dupe of anything. This is the third of the new January 2025 scents I've come to Fragrantica to review today and all 3 say they are dupes of something. This one, reviews say is a dupe of Devotion, which I have not tried. Midnight Addiction is supposed to be a dupe of Black Opium (not a bad job but not perfect), and Guilty as Fig is supposed to be a dupe of Father Figure, which I have not tried. I smelled several other new scents in their new scent display, Madame Mystere or something like that the purple one, and Aqua Hour the blue one, and something Rouge a kind of pink one (I liked that one but not better than the other things I wanted and I could only get a certain amount on my gift card.) I'm almost afraid to look now. Are they all dupes? Were all of the BBW scents all dupes all along and I didn't notice because I wasn't looking at review sites?

I got a mini of the perfume as a free gift and was excited because I enjoy Iced Lemon Poundcake and was hoping for this to be a more perfumey version of that. It's a cute lemon vanilla gourmand. Reminds me of a watered down version of Cake Monster by Cocoapink (that one has a way stronger vanilla but also way more citrus if you order the SMAT version). Upon first spray I get a candied lemon but then the vanilla comes through and makes it almost like lemon meringue. I wish the drydown had caramel instead of vanilla. The lemon could also be less screechy. Overall I'm not impressed. I ordered a mist of Madame Mistique and kinda wish I got that in perfume form instead of this. I can see this layering well with Soft by Al Rehab or another caramel fragrance but on its own I don't care for it. Will update on longevity.

So all the reviews got me hyped and I got it...I had a very hard time deciding do I hate or like it. I am not sure if batches differe...but I feel like the lemon note here is real weak...it's blossoms marshamallow ..which...tbh I am not sure I likr marshamallows nvm blossomed ones. This is not a pleasant gourmamdy experience to me. The ultimate decider that I just dont care for this scent, is when I smelled Lattafas victoria...that one was such an easy to get into and love gourmand. It's more lemony and just doesnt have that weird stale marshmallow note (I think this is a note similar to what's in strawberry poundcake, I hate that btw) which I feel accentuates an even weirder note in the blossoms, I want to get it. After lattafa I want to try D&G, but this one alone I would've figured D&G must be ugh.

Smells exactly like Yves Saint Laurent Libre to me which is a huge bargain for u. It's so strong it filled my apartment for 2 days. I very much dislike Libre so I was gagging the whole time. I picked up my clothing item and the scent was still on it 2 days later. I think it's an excellent buy if you're into that type of sophisticated granny neroli type scent.

This is just... heavenly. I could cry over this. Very biased... But let me explain. A few years ago, Bath and Body Works had a lovely little scent called Lemon Cake Pop. The sweet, cakey note in those candles was an addiction for me. One day, I went to restock, and discovered it was gone, replaced by Iced Lemon Pound Cake. I thought, hey, this is the same thing, right? Bought it. Cried. Like, genuinely cried. My comfort scent was gone. Something about ILPC wasn't as soft and sweet, it was more intense, more citrusy, less cakey, less... edible? When I caught wind of this fragrance, I avoided it for a while. I assumed it would end up leaving me just as disappointed as their reformulation of LCP. But I finally caved. And I was wrong. This is pure, edible, delicious lemon cake, with a powdered sugar glaze. I bought the whole line of this scent so I can layer it and smell like pure dessert all day. This is the taste of that southern church potluck lemon pound cake, bottled as a fragrance. Makes me homesick, in the best way. That's what Lemon Cake Pop gave me. And it's back. Perfect balance of sweetness and lemon. If you're a gourmand fan, this is intoxicating. I haven't tried Devotion or Bake, but if this is similar to those but BETTER, like some of you are saying... I may have to get some samples, lol. Anyways... need this in a candle, ASAP. But I'm happy to bathe myself in it in the meantime. Literally. Edit: aaaaand just like that, it's gone. :(

i hate devotion because it smells like bug spray to my nose, and i gave this line a try in hopes that it smelled just similar enough so i can get the lemon pound cake/vanilla delight everyone else gets, sans raid. while i can't do a direct comparison, i can attest that it does have that same bug spray smell to it and otherwise smells like what i remember. so if you're looking for a similar scent to devotion from b&bw, i think this is something to get your nose on!

Nice dupe of the D&G Devotion, but that scent isn't one of my favorites either. The notes are nice but something about the citrus note wears in an odd way on my skin. But if you like Devotion, this is a nice and cheaper alternative with all the body alternatives available for layering like shower gel and lotion!

Totally 100% dupe of Devotion. I stumbled into B&BW randomly today and was smelling some of their scents, sprayed this knowing nothing about it and immediately looked it up bc I smelled Devotion (which I own). The lasting power is horrendous as are all their body sprays but still worth a try!

It's a pretty close dupe of Devotion. The EDP is a little deeper, and has a decent sillage for the price. It smells like fluffy lemony cookies.

I love this one! It truly is an exact lighter version of D&G Devotion.Sweet,lemony,soft and wears like a halo.

Honestly a very good Devotion dupe! The lemon and orange flower make it a very good pick me up scent.

The perfume version is pretty long lasting and intense, it's a complex lemon vanilla cake. Beautiful
