If Tom Ford's Black Orchid hooked up with Katy Perry's Killer Queen - this would be their illegitimate love child. And I'm living for it! Smells like berry, woods & almost a faint patchouli vibe (even though it's not listed.) I stocked WAY up in the semi annual sale. Obsessed! 😍

Idk who or how the scent notes are listed as cashmere musk, powder and roses, but that’s not right. It’s plum, berries, and some woody scent. I get no rose or powder. Seriously roses? No. Anyway it smells like dream bright, into the stars and dark kiss but not exactly. It’s very in your face berries and fruity smelling at first and the dry down is really nice. That’s when it smells different. It’s a darker earthy berry. I didn’t smell much of the wood scent, maybe moss? It lasted a good 8 hrs. I layered the lotion and body spray and I will add that in typical BBW way the lotion and spray don’t exactly match as far as scent goes. Def not worth $20 but maybe it’ll go on sale.

Sinister Plum, Midnight Berries , and Mystical Woods* Idk why Fragrantica has these notes up. This isn’t a powdery nor musky scent. It has that berry dna that you either love or hate from B&BW. I bought this way back in August, I believe, and just sprayed it—still trying to decide how I feel about it. Something in here almost smells like roses, but fresh red roses. It’s very nice, actually, just not sure if it’s my kind of scent. I’ll probably end up loving it like I did with Into The Night. I like this more than I liked Into The Night the first time I tried it. This is an evening scent.

The notes are wrong. Plum, berries and woods. Some of my favorite notes. This is similar to Into the Night, but I like it better. It is sexy. I didn’t care for the Evil Queen one. I think this will be a good layering scent for fresh rose perfumes or my perfumes that I wish smelled “darker.” I agree with another reviewer this will go good with Midnight Addiction or any Black Opium dupe. BBW Autumn Drive is another one I see layering this with. Sad, because this will probably never come back......

Smelt this at the store and it did remind me of Fenty by Rihanna but like a watered down and a sort of earthy version. The dry down was pleasant. I think I might need a few more smells at the store to really decide if I should buy it or not but it’s not bad. Wouldn’t recommend blind buying tho.

I liked it at initial spray. But I oversprayed in store and by the time I left the store I couldn't smell it anymore ☹️

After seeing all the bad reviews I didn't think I'd like this but I honestly kinda love it. I really enjoy dark berry and plum scents though so I guess I shouldn't be that surprised. On my skin this smells fruity, musky, and woody. IMO it fits Maleficent well but I know a lot of people disagree. I'm luckily not getting any kind of piss note that some people seem to be smelling. I wonder if there's an undisclosed cassis note or something. Tbh I hate how B&BW never will say all the notes outright. I feel like for every scent they list three notes, and sometimes one of them is some made up BS that's an object or a vibe and NOT a scent note. Also the fact that a lot of people hate this makes me hesitant to wear it because I don't want people thinking I smell bad! Edit: I sprayed some of the mist inside the cap, and once it dried down it smelled very sour, so I think I now see what everyone who hates it must be smelling. I really want to say it's cassis, but that's something I've never smelled on its own and only have a vague idea of what it might be from smelling fragrances that supposedly have it. I think I still like this scent overall because somehow on my skin it stays smelling really good and stays sweet and musky. But on my clothes it seems to turn sour like it did in the cap, so I'm conflicted. Edit 2: A few hours have passed and I don't know what I was thinking/smelling earlier, this is not good... All I smell now is the sourness. I can't smell what I smelled before at all.

Maleficent is one of my favorite characters of all time and I truly wanted to love this but though it is very strong at initial spray, it simmers down quickly to a very weak projection. To top that off, it smells a bit like musty rotten fruit. Disappointing! :(

Only have this because it was on clearance sale for 2$ I'm not sure if I can even describe the smell of this because it fades so fast. Only good thing I can say is that it's not actively repulsive.

Its on sale now. 75 percent off. I grabbed 5 sprays and 4 body washes. I think it would layer well with victorias secret night perfume or into the night bbw. If you do not like those, you will not like this. Is it unique? No. Its more on par with into the night bbw and night by victoria secret. Would layer great with both of those! I like it. But not everyone will enjoy this. Its darker. Deeper. I love it. Layers well with midnight addiction bbw too. I would use it for layering but not on its own. On its own, its missing something. I can see where its mossy trees to some people but not on my skin. Smells worse in the cap. Skin chemistry is real. It leans more masculine than feminine. Edit: layers well with both into the night and vs night perfume! Mixed with into the night it gives off vs night vibe. Not identical but same vibe. All blend in together beautifully. Use maleficent first then into the night and last put on vs night. All 3 combined on my skin last at least 7 hours (with into the night glow body butter plus mist) and still going but now more faint than the beginning but still there!

On the BBW website the notes are listed at Plum, Midnight Berries and Mystical Woods. Totally Different than the Fragrantica notes. Very disappointed I spent almost 20.00 on a fragrance that smells like a moldy tree. I get nothing other than that from this. They fumbled the Villians release in my opinion. Had high hopes to.

I genuinely can’t smell rose or plum.....just musk. It pulls kinda cat pee on the tester strips but just smells musky on the skin. If I was making it, I would have gone Rose Plum Pink Peppercorn

Those notes are incorrect. This has notes of plum berries & woody notes. To me it smells like marc jacobs decadence. I would get it but not at full price.

I picked up a mini must for under $3 - it’s a weird little thing. Kind of a more wearable version of Tom Ford Black Orchid. Kinda love it.

Can the admin fix the scent notes?????
