Maui Mango Surf

I love this one! It's my favorite out of the new Bath and Body Works fragrances. When I first smelled it I envisioned big juicy fat fresh mangoes rolling around in the surf on a white sandy beach of some lonely island with clear blue skies. Amazing I know so I bought it even though I know BBW fragrances are seriously overprices and have longevity problems. This is my go to fragrance for the height of summer when it is too hot to leave the house in anything but short shorts, flip flops, and tanks tops. It's my little summer vacay in a bottle.

This perfume is SO fruity and fresh!!! Perfect for warm summer time. I love it so I wish it will be available next summer because I don't wanna run out. Sadly the longevity is weak and the bottle is little :S But I love it anyway!

The mango and guava are very strong in this body mist. Then it softens and the aquatic note enters making it fresher. I find the sillage a bit loud for body mist, so be careful in spraying this around people.

I have to say this doesn't smell like Bali Mango, and would be better if it did, actually. Not sure which notes don't blend well, but I think it's the ylang-ylang doesn't blend well with the mango. Oh, it's pleasant enough at first, but after wearing for awhile, the lotion version actually made me nauseous. NOTE: I happen to like ylang very much, just not with mango.

This review is for the original version Maui Hibiscus Beach. I like this scent even more so than Oahu Coconut sunset. It's a beautiful fruity floral. It's bright and refreshing and reminds me of the ocean and sniffing flowers by the sea!
