Midnight Amber Glow

When I tellll you!!! I didn't even know I liked amber until I smelled this!! I had originally smelled this back in the fall, but really wasn't feeling it. I have a hard time getting the true scents of these fragrances due to me smelling so many things. So I had bought my mom a travel set in this a decided to see how it smelled on my skin. At first, I didn't like it because the amber was so strong it was almost musty!! Yes, musty (not musky)!!! But once it dried down, I caught the fragrance in its essence. I get the perfect blend of that caramel latte and vanilla bourbon. I picked up the body wash and body scrub and think it's absolutely beautiful (and strong). Amber/vanilla bourbon is the prominent note on both the body wash and scrub. It is not as off-putting as the opening in the mist. I began to really appreciate this fragrance after using the body wash/scrub. I don't mind it because it's very pretty and can be easily layered. I already paired it with Wrapped in Vanilla and Brown Sugar and Fig. Now I love the fact that the body wash/scrub is so strong in amber/bourbon because then the mist offers that sweet caramel. It ties in really well. This is a really nice fragrance and perfect for the fall and winter!

I......think I'm in love. Maybe I'm going crazy but I don't really care, this fragrance appeals to me so much. It's the perfect super sweet & warm amber, and I didn't even know I was looking for something like this! For context, I love putting heaps of sugar into my coffee (bastardous I know). This smells exactly like just right before taking a sip of that kind of coffee...brown-sugary, like a caramel butter candy with just the teeniest hint of bitter caffeine. Oh gosh, like when you've perfectly browned some butter, just less nuttiness to it--I love love love! A caramel coffee wonderland! It wasn't a love at first sniff though, because at first spray it leaned towards smelling a bit too sweet ( like for me I could almost taste it in my throat ). So be a bit mindful of that, if you're considering using this. But the longer it's on me, the more I love it. Just smelling it makes me want to lick my wrist... For comparison purposes: if Into the Night is the subdued and sexy amber, Midnight Amber Glow is the radiant and flirty amber. The former leans back and crosses her legs never sparing you a glance, the latter leans forward to smile and ask how your night has been. Oh, how I love both though!

My favorite B&BW fragrance for the fall/winter. Last winter I used this to bed almost every single night. I am not a huge backup bottle/lotion person but I immediately purchased all the products - shower gel, Body butter, perfume, FF mist and body lotion - and backups for each (except the body butter bc of the glitter). I also wear this to go out - it just makes me so happy! It’s such an easy, easy reach! It’s so comforting but a bit of sexiness especially when layered with The One and Only Intense, Black Opium, Eilish, Lira, Juicy Couture Gold, etc. - it. smells. amazing! I don’t get the coffee note but I do get a punch of Amber and Caramel!! My favorite! If I do crave that coffee note, I spray B&BW Whiskey and Coffee to top of the body lotion. Try it, you’ll love it!! Not saying it needs to be layered bc alone is smells divine! Together with another fragrance - whew!!! ♥️ Yesterday I went to B&BW & my shop still had a few 75% off products and luckily, they still had a bunch of these Body lotions. I bought 2 more Body lotions. I can’t get enough. This summer I kept picking up my bottle just to take a sniff. Lol. I can’t wait til this upcoming winter!

I've got a shit nose, so rich notes are my babygirls, and boy do the caramel, vanilla, and coffee in this DELIVER. Aforementioned shit nose means I can't detect the amber in this, but I've received a compliment or two on the note when layering with the matching body cream. It's warm and sweet with a good amount of depth to make it a real curl up and cuddle indoors scent. Perfect for the colder months - I'd say November to January. I'd love to dial up the bourbon and coffee (I've got a Coffee and Whiskey body cream on the way and an eye on Mix:Bar's Vanilla Bourbon EDP), or perhaps add in some woodsy and spicy notes to really emphasize that warmth, make it a dirty chai type deal. I imagine Cozy Vanilla Bourbon could elevate the boozy vanilla without touching the coffee. If I could ever get my hands on Black Opium or Khamrah, I think it'd be over for everyone. I really wish this hadn't been discontinued - the packaging is so lovely, too. It's times like these that I'm reminded resellers actually DO contribute to society. I'm holding out for a re-release next season!

I try, wear and love perfume from all walks of life and a wide price point. I wouldn’t bash a perfume just because it’s an unattainable overpriced niche or a synthetic cheap mist. I appreciate them for being part of our experiences and memories. And believe me when I say that when it comes to food notes, no one seems to get it as well as B&BWs does! I had a hard time smelling a coffee note in perfume, I could not in Black Opium, not even in Café Rose (the oud rose combo overwhelms), but when I was smelling MAG, I was so surprised to smell the coffee! And indeed it has “caramel latte” written in the notes on the back of the bottle. The caramel is just a dollop and doesn’t overpower the coffee, yay! The amber is warm and resinous and surprisingly not as sweet as most B&BWs ambers. Again the bourbon vanilla has a booziness that balances out the sweetness. This is a more mature and mysterious amber from B&BWs, lovely 🥰.

this is a perfumey caramel frappe from Starbucks in a bottle! midnight amber glow is so rich and deep. I get chocolate, leather, booze, coffee, vanilla, caramel, amber. It smells a bit masculine honestly in my opinion. But it’s still perfectly fine for ladies too. This is something I can’t wait to wear in once the weather gets chillier. So so perfect for snowy days or just anytime a crisp breeze can blow this scent around. Something in here is reminds me of sunset glow, and it’s not just because they both have glow in the name. I think it’s that caramel + vanilla combo. I ask my husband to blindly smell and tell me what he gets. For this one he said cotton candy, honey graham crackers, berries and vanilla. So there’s that 😅

I love this scent, but you have to use up the lotion or moisturizing body wash really fast because it will go off. I managed to save mine because I also make fragrance products myself so when it turned sour I just went with it and dumped in a bottle of raspberry lemonade fragrance and mixed it all up and I was able to still use it, although I did try to finish it in a couple of days after that. It's not on the pyramid here but the official fragrance notes on the packaging don't say caramel, they say caramel LATTE. My fellow Americans, that doesn't mean coffee. It means milk. It's MILK and it will go bad and turn sour. Use it up fast. Don't try to store this one for later.

This smells so yummy and delicious. The projection is really strong. At first, the alcohol is more dominant, but as it dries down, wow. The Caramel Latté and Bourbon Vanilla take over after a few minutes. This radiates beyond arm's length and lasts a long, long time on my skin and clothes. Really strong for a body mist. I can't stop smelling myself whenever I wear this. It's sweet, creamy, seductive, mysterious, and smells simply exquisite and more expensive than its price. This is a well-blended and more high-end type of fragrance from B&BW. I'll get backup bottles of this.

( fine fragrance mist review!!!) This is an absolute love. I’m a coffee lover fyi and this is the creamiest most yummy coffee scent ever. And the price point is crazy, it smells expensive and more perfumey to me with the ambery Bourbon note present. When smelling this I envision sipping a warm and frothy creamy vanilla latte with a caramel drizzle on top. Now the other products in this have a quite strong amber note (which I love alot) but can be a bit cloying for any weather over 65°. Overall I highly highly recommend and this is a must of my collection forever.

My god, this is such a beautiful and delicious scent. It transitions from boozy to a rich coffee scent. I am leery when I see anything that says “bourbon” as a note because sometimes it smells sour, but the way B&BW crafted this so well is just chefs kiss. This will give you ALOT of compliments. I have the mini perfume spray so the scent lasts a long time on my skin and clothing. If you are a fan of gourmand smells, you will love this! And it’s on sale for under $5 atm! Get this! 👍🏼

This just ticks off every box for me. It's rich, cozy, warm, there's a caramel/vanilla sweetness. There is a slight coffee note but if it were a drink it would be more on the side of a creamy caramel gourmand drink. It's so perfect for fall and winter. I have the shower gel, shower scrub, body lotion and body spray and EDP perfume spray. I have backup sets too. Think I like it? When I layer it all together it has decent projection, longevity is good. This is an absolute love for me.

This is as close to a signature scent for me, as I'm new to this fragrance Journey. I ran to Mercari to get these. I love this scent , it's not too cloying in the Florida heat. Its a subtle sweetness, a hint of coffee. My co-workers describe it as lightly sweet. The only downfall is it doesn't last too long on my skin, but on my clothes and sheets it lingers for days. Such a sleeper hit, sorry for the rant I'm PASSIONATE about this scent.

This fragrance is so stunning. It has a sexy, almost masculine vibe to it. Kinda like a sweet amber mixed with classic musky aftershave and a steamy cappuccino. It smells a lot better than I’m making it sound, but I can’t find any other way to describe it. I’m going to be disappointed (but not surprised) if this becomes discontinued. I have yet to find a good dupe for this. If anyone knows one, please DM me!

I haven't smelled a lot of coffee scents but this definitely takes the cake among the few I've smelled, absolutely gorgeous caramel latte scent I love it so much. I will probably be using this during spring and summer as well because I don't think latte is just a fall scent! The projection and longevity are subpar but I don't care very much but the scent makes up for it since I can just douse myself in this.

This is one of my all-time fav scents BBW has ever came out with. It's a cozy sweet, yet sexy caramel latte. Fortunately, I don't think it has that dirty stickiness I got from vanilla cafe (RIP) It's a smooth almost sexy dark caramel with a hint of coffee and amber! 10/10 if they ever brought this back id buy out the entire stock! Pair this with Bianco latte and prepare to be drowned in compliments!!!

was obsessed with this till i lost my bottle 😭 i owned the body wash, the body lotion and the mist! a really strong caramel and espresso; not overly sweet in my opinion but kinda like a coffee that's a bit on the bitter side but not bitter enough to overshadow the sweetness! used to wear it to bed alot as well, super cozy and made my pillows and sheets smell like heaven.

this is amazing! 🫧 when first sprayed, its very ambery on me, like musky ambery and very strong, but it warms down in seconds to this beautiful caramel latter with vanilla bourbon added to it. 🫧 i actually didnt like it at first, but im starting to love it. i love caramel scents and this is amazing! 🫧 very yummy scent. lasts a good lil bit too! 🫶🏾

By far my most favourite BBW scent!! This was amazing when I had it, a sweet, gourmand, delicious coffee scent with hints of caramel. I got a lot of compliments wearing this, it smelled THAT good! I could not stop smelling myself when I wore this, it's such a shame it's been discontinued... why does BBW always discontinue the best fragrances??

smells amazing! lovely gourmand scent and is pretty long-lasting too. a beautiful blend of deep vanilla and coffee notes sat upon a thick, creamy, and RICH caramel base. I also get somewhat of a "biscuity" scent in here as well. going to avoid wearing this in the warmer months though, as I can tell it can easily become too cloying.

I'm really impressed with this. At first, the amber is pretty overpowering, but, as it settles down, the vanilla and caramel start to come through, and then finally the coffee. It's not listed in the notes here(as of writing this review), but it is absolutely there and it is excellent. I've got a lot of compliments wearing this.

This is everything I wanted it to be. It makes me smell like a caramel latte. It's warm and cozy, and I've received a few compliments wearing it. I hope they keep this scent around, but I've heard it's pretty polarizing. I may pick up a back up before the winter season ends, just in case.

Midnight Amber Glow basically smells like YSL Black Opium, but better. Replace the jasmine notes w/ caramel & you've got Midnight Amber Glow. I've been wearing this so much in fall 2024. I wish Bath n Body Works would make this a permanent fall/winter offering.

It opens AMAZINGLY! But it dries down to become a bit boring imo. Nothing like that amazing opening. Still like it though. God I wish it was linear and that it would keep that opening for its entirety Scent 9/10 Longevity 4/10 Projection 3/10

Notes: smooth amber, caramel latte and vanilla bourbon. I love the coffee in this scent. I also get a soft floral in the opening especially in the lotions, but it is a creamy caramel coffee scent. Mysterious and beautiful.

I love this! It’s a sexy gourmand scent. I usually stay away from BBW gourmands because they can be too sweet and nauseating but this one is perfectly balanced. I wear this at night and wake up smelling divine.

I’m so in love with this scent. The warm Amber and the caramel latte is booming throughout this scent. I also smell a hint of vanilla bourbon too. Get it while you can because it’s being discontinued.😔

LOVE this during fall/winter. smells like a starbucks caramel macchiato next to sugars cookies. there's also the sophisticated amber that makes this fragrance smell so expensive. i loveeeeee

This might be the best body mist from bath and bodyworks so far imo, makes you feel cozy like you’re experiencing the warmest autumn day, like you’re also inside of twilight.

It does smell exactly like a powdery caramel, I've gotten compliments from this one and I'm so crazy about it but too sad they stop selling it and I need it again :(

I bought this is September of 2022! This smells like rich vanilla cookies . I absolutely love this and I need to start wearing it more.

This is perfect to pair with YSL Black Opium Extreme. You can really smell the coffee note in this while it still being sweet and sexy.

One of the longer lasting B&BW scents. It's a caramel coffee scent, however there's a bourbon note, that is present heavily in some ppl's bottles. Mine definitely was one of them. I actually allowed it to rest in my cabinet, someplace dark, for about 2 months & then I brought it out and the bourbon note was completely gone (THANK GOD), leaving the caramel-coffee note so many others were enjoying. I tested it and lasted about 6-7 hrs without layering. Very impressive. The sillage is moderate. However if you overspray & layer correctly, I'm sure the scent bubble will be larger.

I just got this at the semi annual sale and I really like it. I dislike coffee notes in my perfume, but luckily I don't smell coffee in this. B&BW has other mists where the coffee note is dominant and I never buy those. This however is just really nice. Once in a while I "think" I smell slight coffee, but it's probably more of me knowing it's a scent note supposed to be in this. Really what I get with this is a warm, fuzzy amber with some vanilla and tiny bit of caramel in the background. It's a little like their mist Sweet Whiskey minus the whiskey note.

At first spray, the immediate note is rum flavoring like the kind used in baking. It's sweet and also made me think of pineapple upside down cake briefly for a moment. After a minute, I smell rum flavored caramel and vanilla with a coffee note in the background if you search for it. This is the only BBW I have ever bought and it was a blind buy. I'm pleasantly surprised at how well blended and pleasant this fragrance is. It's sweet but not cloying, nothing sharp, nothing plasticky, a wearable gourmand with nice depth for sure.

This was so horrible smelling for more than a year after I opened it that I couldn't believe these reviews were about this body mist. After 2 years it has lost that VERY STRONG burnt rubber smell and now it kind of smells like amber, caramel and espresso. Almost like a coffee version of lord of misrule but damn, it used to be so stinky I almost feel like I can't forgive her past :,D unisex btw

I had the body cream of this and it was good while it lasted. The caramel coffee and vanilla scent was beautiful. Unfortunately my body cream has gone off and the smell and texture of the product changed so I had to get rid of it. I do not know why this newer formula of body creams by BBW spoils so fast, but I hope they bring this scent back.

this is a good one! it’s very sophisticated but not rlly mature. it’s an ambery caramel latte and i 100% get some nuttiness in the dry down!! it has a little sweetness - not too sweet whatsoever. love wearing in the fall/winter!

Its very sweet and caramel but in a perfumey way. Its not a gourmand in the sense that it smells exactly like a food. It smells more abstract because of the amber ness. Thats all yall I cant believe its discontinued.....

Caramel with deep richness of amber, coffee and vanilla. Unique, good longevity, best worn at night in colder weather. Pretty strong for a body mist.

It’s nice, not among my favourite B&BW scents but decent enough. Smells like a super synthetic 2000s celebrity perfume.

Really sweet Carmel coffee. I like it.

It has the notes of smooth amber, caramel latte and vanilla bourbon. Now this is a love or hate type of fragrance. You either love it or you hate it, there is no in between 😐 This is a unisex fragrance, smells more masculine than feminine to me. The amber is really smoothly present in this one while in the dry down you do detect the caramel latte aspect. At the first spray it smells like a man's aftershave which is boozy and slightly caffeine flavoured. I love amber, caramel in my fragrance but something about this one has a burned quality like feel!! 😣 this one smells boozy, a bit leathery, whiskey like boozy but slightly burned amber + burned caramel. It smells like brewing coffee that has been slightly burned. Like imagine you have caramelized sugar in a pan until it's slightly burned and then you have poured coffee and milk into it with a spoonful of warm amber in there. In the dry down you get a delicious toasty caramel latte smell that smells sweet, musky, powdery. It's not completely a latte fragrance but i can see what they are trying to sell. It does have a coffee like vibe. They could have added some warm vanilla bean rather than a vanilla bourbon note. something sweet should have been added to balance the whole fragrance out. It is missing its sweet element. It is very mildly sweet but overall a pungent sour amber, caramel smell. I am finding it extremely light on my skin as well. I am still a bit iffy about whether i like it or not. There are days when i like the dry down and then there are days when i find the dry down to be too musky and pungent. But i am extremely underwhelmed by this fragrance. This is not a safe blind buy even for coffee lovers. The lasting power isn't great either, it's light and airy. You have to layer it up with the matching lotion or body cream. The mist is not strong on its own. I can see myself being bored of it in the near future -_-

I need answers, why does the bottle I have smell 90% like Coty's Exclamation and nothing like coffee, espresso or latte or cream? A rich, desserty base would have been perfect in this and it's just not there, its caramel fades off pretty fast and isn't as strong as other praline offerings I'm used to in this brand. Just a strong ambery floral that's a touch alcoholic, but no gourmand. Midnight Amber Glow's vanillic sweet powdery heliotrope does give it a very girly, perfumey vibe, that is lacking from other bath & bodyworks fragrances of that era which is an interesting twist on the commonplace candied floral concoctions of the 2010s. Call it a throwback.

With all honesty I'm not a big fan of coffee so I would imagine that I wouldn't adore this scent. While the first few seconds of the spray smells like a unwashed coffee grinder when it settles I can smell the vanilla, caramel, and amber as the coffee smell pretty much disappears.
