Moonlight Magic

I appsolutely love this fragrance. My friend got me it as a set for my birthday last year. I was really pleased with it. When i went to go get more when i ran out they said they discontinued it. They then said they had one similar to it which i think was the moonlight path.

It just dawned on me what Moonlight Magic smells like? Halle Berry pure orchid. I loved Pure orchid but it has zero staying power!! I love this so much!!!

I absolutely adore Moonlight Magic, it’s one of my favorites. The lotion and Edt as wonderful lasting power. Big love for me.

I definitely can't pick out all the notes listed here but I do get a red berry feel to it with a soft floral vibe. Really nice! The opening reminds me a bit of sugared lemon fruit loops. However I am very disappointed that this great scent has no silage as mentioned previously. It does last, especially on your clothes but it's so quiet even on your clothes you still can't smell it unless you put your nose in it. :( I really would like more of this scent, maybe that's why it was discontinued. I read in a separate BBW review that they felt the good scents are weak, and the one's you don't like seem to be strong and last forever. Sadly for me this one fits that description.

got a bottle of ebay for a cheap price. dont regret it. smells like a basket full of sugared fruits. i imagine a unicorn would smell like this

This was a limited edition release. B&BW sold out very quickly, and I was on the waiting list for about 6 weeks before I finaly got it! (The body spray though) I get a lot of berries and vanilla. It's soft and pleasing to the nose, but it isn't anything very special. A nice every day type of fragrance. They came out with Secret Wonderland and it is almost exactly like this. One of them smells just a tad sweeter then the other but I can't remember which. So if you can't find Moonlight Magic for a good price then you can get Secret Wonderland instead. It has a average lasting power (body spray layered with lotion) About 4-6 hours.

If you are a young woman , please do NOT buy this. It smells awful. Like very powdery , masculine lavender. one of their worst BBW. Just my own opinion.. I don't enjoy this because is smells medical.

very dissapointing. Notes sounded so good but its very generic. Smells slightly fruity in the beginning then switches to soft sweet scent. Totally skin scent, no siliage whatsoever. Very Boring

This scent is a "reformulated" version.. as most BBW scents that seems to smell the same as one you had before.. yup, this one smells just like Moonlight Path and Secret Wonderland.

I LOVED THIS SCENT. Of course, it was limited edition along with the Sweet Pea Forever. I loved how both of them were complete opposites. I bought both Eau De Toilettes for a birthday gift and made her choose ONE based on the packaging. They both were perfect because of my friend's hippie, earthy vibe. She went with Moonlight Magic because the Sweet Pea Forever appears too girly and that's not her personality. OMG the Moonlight Magic was just so darn good! Yes its got berries to it but its WARMTH and creaminess made it anything but fruity. It was DREAMY. Hypnotic. Alluring. Sensual. Soft. Mysterious. Divine. She was so lucky she had the perfume, she loved it and I was jealous cause I got stuck with the intoxciatingly sweet, Sweet Pea Forever. Fortunately, I bought the lotion & mist of Moonlight Magic for myself. It kind of reminds me of Twilight woods, where its not a super feminine scent - its just warm, soft and great. The lotion smelt unbelievable on me, the mist was alright. I was sad to see this scent go away. Then Secret Wonderland came along and I thought for sure it was the same scent with a different name, but I truly do not care for Secret Wonderland's fragrance...its more feminine with strawberries and has no warmth or depth as Moonlight Magic did. Frankly, its missing the 'magic'.

The moonlight magic i used in the 90s was a splash and lotion that did not at all look like this pic. I LOVED the scent SOOOO much. I cannot believe they discontinued it. When it was released I worked next to VS store and checked every day for re-stocking. As soon as it would restock in DC store, it would sell out that same day. Suddenly it was gone. I have even called VS over the years to find out WHY they would discontinue such a wonderful fragrance and none of the agents had a clue what I was talking about. I watch them release boring, non-selling frag after frag when all the while all they need to do for a best seller is re-released this one.

I went Bath & Body Works this summer just to browse and smell their new perfumes. The instant I smelled this perfume I fell in love! I bought the body mist of this wonderful fragrance with the intention of going back to the store to get the eau de toilette & lotion. Unfortonately, I could'nt find it ANYWHERE, so I looked it up and found out B&BW had distontinued it. I am EXTREMELY disappointed and upset, and I plan on buying it from eBay to stock up before it completely disappears.

For all you Moonlight Magic fans - I'm not speaking from personal experience because I've never smelled or tested either BBW fragrance. But, according to customer reviews on the BBW site, the new limited edition Secret Wonderland smells exactly like the discontinued Moonlight Magic.
