Mulan

Okay, I am the biggest Mulan lover. When I was a little girl she was my favorite, and she also inspired me to be strong and independent. Now there is a watery fresh note while I'm wearing this to give the best review I can. I don't truthfully know the oils or the chemicals they put in there, so maybe my nose is fooling me but that's what it also says on the back of the bottle. Smells like: Mulan smells like fresh, fruity shampoo. Now it isn't the strongest shampoo out there, but it smells like this one I cannot put my finger on. Possibly one by dove or suave. It smells like a nostalgic time in my life when I would get bath time. When I would be surrounded by little squeaky ducks, and frog toys that floated in the fresh clear water with bubbles. The scent of the girly bottled children's shampoo lathered in my hair, and I'm just living it up in there. Appearance: Teal, turquoise, cyan, whatever greenish blue is my favorite color. The bottle is one of my favorite colors, so I ADORE the way it looks. The bottle speaks confidence and pride, and I really like that. The details are also darling so it makes a good shelf piece. Who would I recommend this too?: Someone who likes fruity, fresh, clean scents. But, BIG BUTT! Only if you are okay with smelling like SHAMPOO! This is not a clean water, or a clean fruit, this smells like shampoo. In a good way of course, but this kind of clean feel is if you want to smell shower fresh, not CLEAN shower fresh. Final thoughts/personal opinion: I love love love this perfume. Makes me feel like I'm all nice and clean, and I love that feeling. The smells sticks to my clothes for a while. Not that strong, but if you get real close you can smell it on a sweater. The price of these perfumes is atrocious, especially for what you are paying for. But don't let that change you. I AM JUST A VOICE IN THE VOID! DO NOT LET ME CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS!

Just today I went in to my local B&BW to see what the new wave of the Disney Princess collection was all about. I had somewhat looked over the scents online and the ones that stuck out to me were Mulan (one of my favorite princesses), Rapunzel, and Snow White (which I ended up not getting because of that specific apple note, not sure why the Aurora smelled better of apple than that one but that's a whole different subject). The first scent that hits me is the sweet-ish aquatic one, I believe it is the magnolia? The scent in general heavily makes me think of if you mixed the Tiana scent with the Ariel one if that makes any sense. That apricot I can absolutely start to smell as it settles on the skin, it almost cuts through the first scent. It then relaxes into a sweet musk of sorts which I believe might be the "fierce water" scent that is mentioned. I will say that the VERY first thing I'm hit with when I smell it is what feels like isopropyl alcohol? I've heard that tends to happen with B&BW scents but this is honestly the first i've experienced it with. Nevertheless, that specific smell leaves quickly so i'm not too worried about it. It's a generally weak scent in terms of both longevity and sillage but I think it might be nice if it was sprayed on before bed. I'm going to give this an 7.5/10 :))

This was the most unique Disney release I smelled in store! Unique to me at least. The apricot blends with the aquatic notes in a really interesting way. Really pretty. This would have been my favorite of the Disney releases, but the scent disappeared on the test strip within a minute or so while in the store. Boo! Might try layering the scent with a small test dab of the lotion to see if the fragrance has enough longevity to bring home.🤞

Wow! I’m so glad i love this one because she’s one of my favorite princesses 😍 so fresh, fruity, and clean smelling! Not too sweet and not juvenile, it’s actually perfectly blended and is mature in my opinion. It’s very light and longevity is trash but I’m hoping it becomes a little stronger over time, but I will definitely wear this in the summer. I’m backing this one up FOR SURE

I purchased this in travel size to see how it wears throughout the week...what a beautiful, fresh and fruity fragrance. It’s well blended so I can’t pinpoint any individual notes. I would say fruity, office safe, shampoo type fragrance. Blind-buy gift worthy...I hope to get the lotion soon for everyday layering.

such a nice n clean watery fruity floral tht reminds me of the early 2000s, kinda in the same family as ralph (the one in the blue bottle) but less fruity and more musky. smells like nice shampoo so it's great for when ur fresh out of the shower or going to the gym.

This one of the best body mist in the Disney Princess collection. Light sweet floral with aquatic notes(offical notes: magnolia blossom, fierce waters and radiant apricot). Perfect for daytime casual events or layering with other perfumes. The only downside is once it wears out you get a soapy after-smell.

This is a pretty aquatic magnolia with apricot. Not my type since I'm not a big fan of magnolia but it fits Mulan. If you like magnolia I would check this out. This line is nice and super inexpensive. And they have body care to go with it. Find the Princess for you.

a fresh and fruity floral on the initial spray. but the dry down reminds me of men's gillette shaving gel.

Crisp fresh apricot note with a slightly musky magnolia note. Nothing else super fancy to describe but I really wanted to get it since Mulan is my favorite Disney princess. I think it represents her ok but doesn't really match the true strength of her character in the movie besides Magnolias being culturally significant in China. I thought it would've been a little more musky or just overall a stronger smelling scent that you can pick apart from other generic fresh scents. Great for at the gym or everyday wear, nice fresh scent for spring and summer. Nothing to write home about but smells really good!

Most disappointed with this one out of this (lackluster) collection. This one had so much potential to be awesome, and instead it's just ... Whatever. It made no impression on me whatsoever. It's just watery, kinda fruity, kinda flowery ... So boring! B&BW missed a huge opportunity when they didn't make this a rice scent or a tea scent, in my opinion.
