No.3 Lavender

Amazing amazing!!!! Love at first spray! The opening is gorgeous and the drydown too. Not heady dark and cold (almost bitter) lavender as in Cozy Season, not heady, warm and deep as in Cozy Evening, and not a salty lavender as in Cozy Sunday Morning (which I also like but can be too linear, salty and overwhelming on me). No Libre type of sun tan lotion lavender here either (which I also like). This is unique and different, sweet and juicy and the lavender is slightly balsamic at first and herbal, but not heady or bitter. It instantly becomes very sweet and bright with the jasmine, slightly powdery and so feminine. When it's still wet there is a subtle waxy scent to it almost like orange blossom but not quite, it's the fresh lavender with the vanilla, but I bet there is musk because this waxy element is usually musk in perfumes and it morphs into an animalic musk-like vanilla. The finished result and especially the projection on my skin is slightly sweet-sour reminiscent of the sweet-sour accords in J'adore minus the melon, pear, violet, peach, rose and the rest, but we have a similar composition here with lavender instead of violet and the same musky vanilla jasmine base sans the floral-fruit salad mess of J'adore. I'd say it's like a J'adore (or donna nautilus) with lavender instead, but these can make me nauseous with all the sickly sweet-sour notes, this one doesn't make me dizzy (I'm prone to nausea). There is a slight high-pitched almost sour accord in this at the drydown (as in J'adore too) it really adds something to the whole scent, but it stays sweet and the lavender adds that depth and balances it out so nicely (not nauseating as violet can be to me) and it's not salty here. Not linear and much lighter than Cozy Sunday Morning which I also like, but that's more on the savory woody side, while this is more floral juicy. Lavender is my new favorite.

The scent notes are : lavender, Jasmine & vanilla. The mist was bought by me as a commemoration of a certain fond memory. Even though i don't like lavender scents in general but this was really likeable. I adore the smell. Starts off with a blast of fresh sweet lavender not too herbal or screechy like some lavender scents tend to be but it is slightly sharp on the nose. This is a bit tolerable lavender as it's herbal but sweet. Quickly warms up to my skin & turns into a beautiful powdery smell. It's not a typical headache inducing powdery smell though, it's powdery & sweet. I agree with others the vanilla note in here smells almost candy like, it's very sweet & fluffy almost like a marshmallow. The dry down is extremely pleasant on the nose. It's very creamy, fluffy & sweet. Almost no trace of lavender is found on the complete dry down. For such a fluffy pretty scent the lasting power is incredibly terrible on this. It's so damn light. What a bummer! Better longevity would have made this scent more adored by the fans. The scent is extremely pleasant with a very weak longevity. It's good for after shower spritz or as a pillow mist. But you have to overspray the fuck out of it like your life depends on it. Like seriously 2 days in & i have already created a dent in the bottle. I use it as a pillow mist, it's better on clothes than skin. [ Edit: projection and duration is getting so much better. I was told this perfume projected so much more than a costly perfume of mine today. Nowadays i'm not facing any longevity issue 🥰]

This has to be my favorite BBW mist !! Like THIS IS IT. THIS IS THE THING. I’m not reviewing the same exact no. 3 Lavender, instead I’m talking about the Emily in Paris edition called “Lavender Luxe” but that doesn’t matter bc it’s the same fragrance repackaged. I dare say this has to be one of, if not BBW’s best and masterfully blended body mists bc of how it smells high end and very perfumey. This has the perfect mix of lavender, jasmine, and vanilla. Pleaseee !! I love how you get to enjoy the different notes as it dries down. The notes are very distinguishable and they never get lost in the background which is such a wonderful experience. Upon spray it smells like an expensive soap from a steamy spa, as it develops, it transports you to a lovely morning dew of lavender and jasmine fields, then it finishes off with a glaze of sweet vanilla icing and weirdly enough it’s a little chocolatey and soft-serve-creamy !! It’s an aromatic gourmand for sure !! Think of it as sugared lavender and jasmine petals that fairies get to eat before sleep 🧚 I’m also impressed with the performance !! It performed well with the perfume I layered it with. Lasted 4 hours on my clothes and surprisingly on my skin (it was more of a skin scent but it was impressively noticeable) I can confidently say that this thing is perfect for any time and season. Glad I’m stocked with 3 bottles. Two as body mists and one as a room spray. I love it so much omg

This is a fantastic sweet lavender scent that smells EXPENSIVE. I have a lot of Niche and this smells better than some of them. I would say it’s a mix of Mon Guerlain and Burberry goddess. Such a well blended scent. A little unexpected from Bath and body Works and impressive . Wish they’d make this an edt. My husband loves it. This fragrance is incredibly smooth and light with a perfect blend of high quality lavender and vanilla. It's a soft and subtle lavender scent that's not overpowering, making it easy to wear. I adore this scent—it has just the right balance of sweet vanilla and lavender that I adore. It's versatile enough to wear year-round, cozy for the cooler months yet airy and refreshing for the warmer seasons and cozy for bedtime. Hope they don’t discontinue it.

A gorgeous, soft, and cozy blend of lavender, vanilla, and jasmine! The lavender note is more airy than it is herbal/sharp, and the vanilla note adds a lot of sweetness and warmth to it. The jasmine note compliments the lavender and vanilla really well, and isn’t overpowering, it’s definitely not a jasmine/white floral heavy scent! I love this scent so much, it’s exactly the right amount of sweet, warm vanilla and lavender that I was looking for in a scent. I’ll be wearing this year round as it’s cozy enough for winter and fall but airy and light enough for spring and summer :) It’s also my absolute favorite to use as a room spray, especially right before I go to bed. In the air it just smells like warm cookies and lavender and is so comforting.
