Orange Flower Sandalwood

I got this and the matching lotion on sale blindly. I wouldn’t have blind bought it had it not been $4 each. Bath and body works lotions do majority of the heavy lifting regardless of what body spray you buy in my opinion. With that being said, there’s no lotion on my clothes, and I can still smell this spray 8 hours later. I would get a whiff of my self up to about hour 5. Scent wise, it’s a powdery orange scent. Kinda old lady feel, but I don’t mind it. Had I smelt it in store, I probably wouldn’t have gotten it, but I put it on today and I smelt / felt like a clean little grandma. Definitely a day time summer scent. I associate cozy fragrances with vanilla so I wouldn’t really classify this is as cozy. Whatever sweetness attached to the notes doesn’t really get me. It’s not really a candy type scent. The powdery really overpowers it on my skin. Sillage wise, no one in my house asked me about it so I’m going to assume they didn’t like it or didn’t notice it and I’m gonna go with the ladder. I did however get a whiff when I was moving around and could smell my wrists when I was working at my desk and that’s all I really need in my daily fragrances. I wouldn’t go rush out to buy this, but I am not returning it either. If it’s on sale and you like powdery citrus cents, I say bite the bullet. I don’t mind it for a day of working from home and running errands. I wear just about anything to the office that isn’t horrific so I can’t really testify how safe it is for work.

This is a refreshing break, and one of many testaments as to why B&BW doesn't deserve to be considered junk, nor merely a way to score cheap gourmond sprays. They produce some truly nice things, if people care to explore. This is plushy soft sandalwood, orange that isn't over-sweet, and a little bit of soapiness with orange blossom. Very clean. It smells like a luxe bath bar, or some high-end amenities. I predict this will become the go-to soap/lotion/shampoo at hotels! Coconut Lime Verbena, White Citrus and Stress Relief (probably some others too, this is just what I know of), have been, but I believe this would be perfect as well. It smells soothing and uplifting at once. Nothing is harsh or chemical-y smelling. Nothing wrong with this in the slightest, it's a great "everybody" scent.

I love this scent! Coconut is not listed but it’s very coconutty, almost like sunscreen vibes. Great layering scent with oriental floral perfumes. However the longevity is much shorter than other body sprays at bbw.

This is the best new Aromatherapy scent I've smelled from Bath and Body Works, and although it's not strong, it lasts for hours and hours. I don't smell any citrus or anything else not listed. It smells like powdery orange blossoms and soft, sweet sandalwood. It is in the same wheelhouse as Sensual Amber, though not as perfumey. I can't get enough of Orange Flower and Sandalwood in every form it comes in. The scent stays with you and warmly surrounds and calms you. It's so clean and pretty. I am so sad it was out just for the summer, and I hope it comes back!

I mostly use the EO mists for linens, not personal fragrance, but I could see myself wearing this. Very pretty and sophisticated. If only bath and body works would stop discontinuing all their aromatherapy fragrances.
