Papaya Paradise Cove

Papaya Paradise Cove opens with a very predictable juicy fruit punch, like many B&BW fragrances before it. It does smell vaguely tropical but not like any one specific fruit. More like a blue fruit punch flavored candy. However the drydown is an unexpected surprise, and while it was a deal breaker for me, it might be the very thing that causes you to fall in love. The base here is a beachy salty amber reminiscent of salted caramel or the sand accord in their At The Beach scent. This combination of fruity shampoo and salty sweet gourmand is too busy to my nose, but it might be something you're into. It smells like I was wearing At The Beach, and then sprayed Endless Weekend on top. The End.

I LOVE this fragrance. I bought it after seeing so many rave reviews on YouTube. I got just the fragrance mist on Mercari and liked it but felt like it didn't last. I ended up purchasing the body wash and body cream on Mercari and they help it last longer for sure. It is now one of my favorite scents and I am so excited to wear it more in the spring and summer. It is fresh and fruity, it smells a bit like gummy candy to me but still also has a perfume feel to it. It is a perfect scent for summer because it is fresh and fruity but also has more to it that makes it feel like a light perfume. Highly recommend!

This smells somewhat like gummy sharks, and is nearly the same color! How delightful! 😆😊 I have the shower gel (don't disregard this, please...the gels and lotions are often more scented than the mists), and it's lovely if you want a nice fruity fragrance to layer with the other products or other similar note families. The papaya is the main note here, and there is a little bit more going on, and I'm not sure what passion flowers smell like like, but there is underlying floral. However, it has a candy tartness as well, so the starfruit is popping up too and creates a delicious pairing with the papaya. Kind of tangy, I like it a lot! I'm content without more products in this line (as I'm attempting to shrink my collection), but I could see this being a great option for someone who wants an easy-to-enjoy tropical fruit scent...particularly in the height of summer. There actually is something quite watery, juicy and refreshing to this one, and it's not boring. I really do highly recommend the shower gel, it's lovely and puts you in a good mood 🏝

Papaya Paradise Cove is my favorite scent in the Spring 2019 collection. It smells just as it looks. It is tropical, fruity, and aquatic. The amber is the longest staying note and it makes for a beautiful dry-down. I will say, the longevity of the fragrance mist is horrible, but I remedy this by pairing it with the body cream. With both of them on, the scent lasts about 5 hours. I can't stress enough how fond I am of the scent. I've never bought a full set of any fragrance at B&BW but this one compelled me to get the spray, cream, and shower gel. It's going to be a favorite of the spring and summer.

I had high expectations but to me this just smells straight up like some of those escada perfumes...
