Pearberry

This is one of the first ones from my growing collection. As for packaging, it isn't very appealing. I know that this fragrance has been around for a while but Bath and Body Works hasn't updated its look. The scent redeems the packaging though. On the first spritz, you can smell a perfectly-balanced combination of sweet pear and a variety of berries. I'm also getting a hint of apple, but I'm guessing that's still the pear. This makes a good out-of-the-shower fresh, fruity scent that isn't headache-inducing. Perfect for days at the beach or at a picnic in the park. Would I say that this is necessary in your fragrance mist collection? Not really. It's a hit or miss. I'm loving this one though.

Look, I know I'm super biased since I absolutely loved this fragrance in the 90s. It's super fruity, kind of synthetic in that plastic doll kind of way, and very sweet. I know it probably upsets some of the gourmandos, expecting a higher quality fragrance. I don't care! I feel like a little kid when I smell it! The current run of Pearberry (late 2025) is weaker than it used to be, my only complaint.

Way older than 2020. Lol. More like 1998.. I have the new version mist very similar Tart fruit and floral scent . I really do still like this. Similar to versace bright crystal genre but way older. And more sour. Fun everyday fragrance. It's also similar to sun ripened raspberry a little. If it's on sale try it. Early early fruity floral

I can't speak to the 2020 formulation, but I had this body mist in 2008 and it was absolutely divine. I rationed it after it was discontinued.

smells good and doesn’t taste too bad either

I picked this up at the SAS so starting with a price tag of under $15 Cdn for the whole set of body wash, lotion and fragrance, it's good value. This is refreshingly clean and fruity for the spring and summer. Beyond that though, it's a little basic. It's a good overall scent for daily wear but I don't think I would buy it again just because there are so many more interesting options available. That's just personal preference, not a bad scent at all. Performance is fine, you just need to get the whole set and most of the BBW scents will last for hours when you layer that way.

really pretty, sweet yet tart pear fragrance. unfortunately i wore this mist and body cream WAYYY too much in 2020. all i think of when i smell it now is 2020. obviously nobody wants that. another good fragrance fallen victim to association with bad times. hope i come back around to it eventually... i still have so much left of the mist...

My expectations were a little high for this fragrance. I first tried this scent ten years ago. I wasn't impressed. I thought it smelled like liquid/fruit plastic. I recently purchased at BBW's semi annual sale. Still not impressed. I can smell some fruity/fresh concoction. There is a strong sour note that doesn't sit well on my skin. I am using my mist as a room spray.Pearberry is just not for me,and it never will be.

The pears here are on the more synthetic side, fresh and tart but sharp. The berries add a little sweetness but are so fleeting. I don’t get much flowers. The composition is so simplistic and to weak to be honest. Nothing impressive here.

I don't care for this, but want to review it. I seem to not be on board much with the pear trend, so please take this into consideration. I sometimes can handle certain artificial fruit scents (strawberry, peach, pineapple), but pear is a little hit/miss for me. And I think you *need* to be a pear fangirl/boy to get into this one, I truly do. It's really dense, and really straightforward. Just heavy artificial pear, and mixed berries (I actually get grape too). Like a bowl of fruit cocktail, but candied too. It's ultra sweet. And yes, it could be described as "juvenile", but that's not why I dislike it (I never wanted this one, even as a kid/teen), I enjoy other B&BW fragrances that are appeal to young masses. This one just isn't for me, but if you like an absolute fruit BOMB, check this out. It's uber fruit. 🍐💥🍇🍒💥 That's really all there is to it. What you expect is what you get, and it's extremely linear.

Very disappointed with this perfume. It's so weak. Perfumes and even some weak/gentle smelling BBW mists tend to last on me but weaker scents like this is just crazy. For the scent, only the pear is dominant. I don't smell the berries but rather just the tartness of it. So imagine the smell of synthetic pear and a bit of alcohol and there you have it: pearberry. Will not recommend this to anyone at all. No depth, no edge, and no 'undertone'.

I don’t like this fragrance. Point blank. Period. I expected juicy, sweet berries and crisp yummy pear but Pearberry smells like cheap cleaning supplies and unhappiness. It’s gloomy and synthetic and I feel self-conscious when I try to wear it out in public (because I’m trying to like it, I really am).

This one was so confusing for me. On initial spray, I smelled a sweet, juicy, refreshing pear that I loved! Minutes later, it dried down to a sickly plastic, artificial, band-aid like scent. The drydown completely ruined this for me, and I had to give it away. Such a shame because I usually love pear and fruity scents

Absolutely hated this fragrance. I liked it in the store but once I wore it out I couldn't stand it. Sickly sweet and SO ARTIFICAL smelling. It smells like those old Strawberry Shortcake Dolls that where fruit scented, artificially sweet and fruity but mostly just smells like plastic.

The newest re-release (that just came out as part of BBW's semi-annual sale for the end of 2022) is unfortunately not the same as before. It disappears within minutes of applying, smells sour and synthetic, and does not have the warmth and full fruity-ness that Pearberry originally had. If you loved this one before, or are curious about it, would probably be best to buy an older version of the mist from resale platforms online. Really sad that BBW keeps weakening their mists more and more over time.

I don’t understand why this says it was launched in 2020. I’ve had this body mist for years. Maybe new packaging. It’s very fruity but that’s about it. Great for the summer right out of the shower. But like a lot of body mists, it doesn’t last long. I use it as a sleeping scent, although it’s a little harsh for that.

Just found a bottle of this in my closet. If I had to guess, it's the old formula because of the bottle. I think it's from my older cousin lol. Personally I wouldn't wear it cause I don't care for the pear but it does smell good. I will be using this as a room spray in the summer though.

This to me is a perfect combination of pears and strawberries. I love wearing this during the Spring and Summer months, when you want something light but sweet. I highly recommend this if you're a fan of fruity scents.

Okay this has been around since the late 90’s. I had this in 8th grade and it still smells the same. Definitely nostalgic for me. Fruity but not too sweet.

reviewing the 2024 version, it smells like the 2022 version but it's stronger and lasts longer surprisingly, nice clean and fresh nostalgic pear scent

Fruity pear and berry notes, this originally was from the late 90s. Body Fantasies Sugar Peach is a dupe of this.

The ultimate shampoo-y scent. Smells like that L'Oréal pear detangling spray from the early 2000s.
