Petal Parade

Petal Parade completely blew me away. I wasn’t expecting it to smell this good, but omg... it’s giving luxury, it’s giving high-end, it’s giving “wait, are you sure this is Bath & Body Works?!” It smells like something you’d find at a fancy perfume counter, all wrapped in glass and costing triple the price. The floral notes are soft and elegant, not powdery or old-ladyish. It wears beautifully too. The longer it sits on the skin, the better it gets. It warms up into this smooth, radiant floral that just lingers and wraps around you like silk. I seriously feel expensive when I wear this. Like I should be wearing gold jewelry and walking into a rooftop party or something. So if you’re into florals that feel mature, fresh, and designer-level good, Petal Parade is a MUST HAVE.

Very nice smell, sweet enough to make it feel like an actual good perfume, but not sickening so like "teenage" perfumes. I can't say if it smells like the dupe for anything since I haven't smelled that specific perfume, but I can say it reminds me of a good perfume (since I have smelled others), it's not a cheap smell, though you might need to spray it on to have it loose a bit of the initial sharp smell from the 'fresh from the bottle' spray. Good to layer with I feel like. A good more complex non offensive sweet floral ^_^

omg!! sprayed this on a test strip at the store and loved it, so did my mom who ended up buying it so we could share. guess my surprise when i get home, spray it on my skin and smell something i hadn't at the store — paradoxe, which, funnily enough she also bought for us to share, lol. if someone needs a dupe, imo this is IT. we don't have bath and body works in my country so it was fun to finally get my hands on one of their products, too bad i didn't realize it was a dupe for one i already own 😭

i really like it, it has the dna of Alien, but the sweetness of prada paradoxe. it's so great. i think it's unique compared to most other body sprays that are sold today. very sweet and pretty floral, i would layer this with Alien or Paradoxe if i owned them lol. the longevity is just alright, can barely smell it after 30 minutes, don't expect much with a body spray. projection and spillage is non existent, which is why i think it would be perfect for layering

Definitely the best scent from this whole collection. It's kind of generic but this smells like a "that girl" scent like it's very white floral and kinda sweet once it's on your skin. It's definitely an everyday scent and it's very perfumey like you would not think this comes from b&bw. It also smells almost exactly like pink obsessed.

I own & love Prada Paradoxe. If you want a clone of that perfume, THIS is it. I was shocked at how close this is. BBW did a great job with this one. I love using the regular EDP & then having Petal Parade with me on the go to freshen up throughout the day.

Pretty spot on dupe for Prada Paradoxe. I sprayed them side by side and they are almost identical. Prada Paradoxe has a little but more depth to it, but for $18.95 this is an amazing dupe. This is a floral fragrance with a candy-like sweetness to it.

This has been the most favorite out of the whole line, I've never smelled Prada Paradoxe before so I can't comment on the similarity, but on its own it's such a delightful floral scent. I really like Neroli notes in fragrances.

A review from someone who does not have Prada Paradoxe. This smells like a smooth perfumey white floral with depth, perfect for everyday scent. Nothing like a mature white floral like one in a million.

Its like if My Way, Paradoxe, and Born in Roma were all mixed together, I love it! I don't know which one I like more, Petal Parade or Pink Obsessed

I expected Petal Parade to be a very fresh, young-girly floral scent, but it actually feels like a more mature take on florals. That said, since it’s just a body mist, it’s not at all too intense. I initially pick up strong citrus notes similar to those of Paradoxe I believe, but it still gives more Good Girl to me, even though the comparison with the two "inspired by" fragrances is weird as they don’t exactly smell that similar to each other. While the opening is quite heavy on citrusy and soapy notes (the soapiness is SO there), in the dry down it turns into a candy-like, sweet floral scent. I also agree with other reviewers over not being able to detect any woody notes despite them being listed and lastly, this is definitely for warm weather and sunny days only. I did consider returning it at first but its not the worst for layering honestly. If you love sweet florals, this is for you! Edit: Tried a few others from this line and Petal Parade is surely top 3.

when i smelled this for the first time in the bbw store, it genuinely took me by surprise because it smelled far more expensive than it actually is. it’s a pretty mature, sexy fragrance and is definitely not a “teen” perfume. people have been comparing it to good girl, but i wouldn't say it's a dupe at all. although, i can see why people say it smells somewhat like grape, but it’s pretty light and really flattering on my skin. the florals are gorgeous in this scent!! there’s also a nice citrus note from the orange blossom, which balances out the “grape” well. overall, it’s a great choice for spring in my opinion and is definitely worth the price!

I was gifted this by my sister! she gave my mother and I a bottle so I thought I'd leave a review Totally at first I didn't like it like at all I thought it was too strong and musky but as I kept using it the more I kept wanting to smell it? It's a super nice warm smelling scent like It makes you feel warm when you smell it but also leaving a nice fresh citrus scent at the end making you want to smell more- I'm kinda addicted to it now

I got this and Covered in Roses, the Delina dupe, and it's definitely not as much of a dead ringer for Good Girl, which is what I was hoping. It still smells really good! It just has a youthful playfulness to it that I think makes it much more generic. Good Girl's not anything revolutionary, but I do feel more sexy while wearing it. Still really good!

Feel so spring.. The first thing I smelled in this scent was neroli, it smells fresh as if it were coming from a tree. I definitely have a thing for spring scents. To me, it smells like a very happy day with nice weather.

It does smell like Prada Paradoxe. It's amazing how Bath and Body Works have leveled up with their scents. If you sprayed a lot of this, it would stay on like how an EDP would.

this doesn't smell like prada paradoxe. i would argue and say that this smells better than any fragrance prada has ever released. 10/10 worth the money.

Very cozy and snuggly floral that layers well with other tuberose and jasmine fragrances. Decent lasting power. Fabric softener vibes.

This smells like a generic DNA, similar to Paradoxe Intense (almost a dupe), My Way (without the tuberose), Libre (without the lavender), and more. It starts with an orange blossom/neroli opening, which feels very soapy-fresh (like a salon/spa/room freshener/hotel soap), and then settles into a soft woody base. Tbh, it's not bad but I wish it was a bit sweeter and had better longevity. It's kinda disappointing that I don't feel a scent bubble around me even if I do 10 sprays.

I can’t figure it out what it smells like , it’s everywhere kinda notes, fabric softener vibes , very soapy and very perfumey ,definitely giving older woman vibes and toilet ish smell , and i smells woody notes too , i let it settles in my skin for hours then i write again , and btw if this is the same smells as prada paradoxe as you guys claim I seriously have no idea what you guys obsession with that overrated luxurious brand mess of a perfume 🤮🤢

*Similar* to Prada Paradoxe but I wouldn't call it a dead-on dupe. The opening of both fragrances is nearly identical but Petal Parade has this weird note in the dry down that I don't like. Paradoxe is better to me.

I liked this but agree with the reviews that say it’s literally for the laundry. I prefer it on my clothes than my skin. A safe and affordable floral scent, nothing unique or special but good job for this price.

kinda powdery but the neroli gives it a fresh balance to it. however this is more like an old woman smell than young and fresh.

Generic white floral smell, there is a soapiness scent to it, didnt caught my attention. Its not bad though

The dry down of this on my skin smelled like the grape flavored yarn-type floss one of my childhood dentists would give out. I am not sure what in this is giving powdery artificial sugar-free grape on me. I exchanged this.

At first, it's straightfoward soapy to my nose. Then it dries down into a citrus, floral scent, nothing too special.

BBW Petal Parade smells like a fresher lavender-free Libre on me. Even from the sprayer and the drydown it's very much like a fresher Libre due to the orange flower and woody base (aside from some MK Wonderlust Sublime impression). If you love the intense lavender then stick with Libre (it performs amazing on my skin especially in heat). I also use VS Harvest Moon Gaze in place of Libre whenever I want something less heady. The opening of Petal Parade is green, watery and fresh like neroli, similar effect to the black currant & petitgrain -green citrusy note- of Libre, accompanied by the same solar sweetness from the orange blossom and a green nuance. That's the vibe I also get from smelling the sprayer too. Petal Parade's orange flower matches many statement perfumes, but I think it mimics Libre the most out of the other perfumes it emulates, because both have solar sweetness and high pitched fresh green notes (black currant & petitgrain there, Neroli here) and they both have a suntan lotion scent to them. Both also have a salty woody element which is more prominent in Libre by the ambergris and more toned down here offered by the orange blossom which usually has a green salty quality to it. Petale Parade has its own distinct character within the YSL Libre theme. It smells slightly citrusy for a second (the neroli) but mainly soapy, beautifully floral and watery green as in aldehydic. I am guessing the neroli effect being orange-citrusy and slightly green renders it refreshing and aldehydic. Neroli: 'Nero' means water in my language that is Greek - and this scent embodies the Mediterranean theme. They were going for an ethereal vibe with this and nailed it. I sense the usual orange blossom/orange flower in the opening right away: slightly waxy, intense and slightly solar in the opening, very beautiful surprisingly, subtly salty throughout. I wish the intensity of the orange flower lasted more to give the scent some warmth. It is a neroli centered scent with toned-down sweetness, more on the "cold", refreshing side. The MK Wonderlust Sublime element. Also its drydown is like a fresher less balsamic MK wanderlust sublime due to the orange flower/blossom overload. While Petal Parade is heavy on the fresh neroli at first and being soapy on me, its drydown is much creamier due to the orange flower. Petal Parade is more simple while it does have a solar sweetness to it too without being ambery. Wanderlust sublime is also similar to Getaway Soiree both being very balsamic but getaway soiree is more milky and tuberose-heavy. Petal Parade is fresher than these two and not as sweet.

I own Prada paradoxe intense, so I don’t know what the original smells like, however this definitely has that distinct dna. I absolutely LOATHE My Way and to me this doesn’t share any similarities to it(thankfully). It smells less vanillic(and plasticky) than my paradoxe intense, so the comparison to the OG paradoxe is most likely true. I really enjoy wearing this on its own and layered with paradoxe intense.

I am so confused why there are so many reviews saying this smells like YSL libre, Armani my way, good girl..? This is a dupe for Prada paradoxe, pretty much an exact dupe as well. Sure maybe some would be able to tell a difference if you are comparing both side by side... But if you like paradoxe then you should pick this up when BBW is having a mist sale. IMO This is not libre at all.

this might be the most intense and long-lasting B&BW scent ever, wow it BLASTED me. name does not lie, this is straight petals and white florals. i wanna say i pick up on a lot of gardenia even though it's not a listed fragrance? i barely get any woody hints. perfect if you want to smell like you took a nap in a bouquet of white flowers!

i think its so close to prada paradoxe honestly. there's a sharp note when you first spray it which is probably the neroli but yes I'm a huge fan. i think it's a lovely scent. very floral which i love<33

If this had a tangerine note, it would be Prada Paradox in a body spray. It’s definitely perfect for layering with Paradox or to be used when you want to save your Prada for more special occasions.

It's your typical, bubble gummy white floral. A kin to Prada Paradoxe, My Way, L'interdit. It's like a little piece of each of them. Would be great to layer with any of them or by itself.

This is not Good Girl...this is Prada Paradoxe. It's intoxicating, expensive smelling, and easy to wear. I recommend it for any season.
