Picnic Summer Daisies

Totally agree with DarlingNikki's description as "semi-dupe of Marc Jacob's Daisy." It's summer as I write this, and so hot and humid that Marc Jacob's Daisy was actually too heavy for me. I have been spraying this little treasure with abandon. The fruity aspect of the pear comes across as almost slightly apple-y to me, so it's like a very light version of Daisy with the barest hint of DKNY Be Delicious. Either way, it's a perfect light summer pick me up. The only issue I have with it is I either go immediately anosmic to it after spraying, or it's got a lasting power of about 3.5 seconds. It's okay though, it's a big bottle, summer is short, and it cools me off to re-spray.

This is a beautiful semi-dupe of Marc Jacob's Daisy sans the violet leaf/violet notes and I am on cloud nine because it was the violet leaf/violet combination that killed Daisy for me! This also smells similar to Chanel Chance Eau Tendre and Vince Camuto Fiori. Can't believe that I've found a holy grail scent at Bath and Body Works of all places! All the notes come through in a harmonious way and this body mist smells so clear, clean, crisp, fresh and natural that I know I'll be wearing it through the end of the summer season! Job well done, BBW!

The scent of this product reminds me of how ''Daisy'' by Marc Jacobs smells.

Something about it smells nostalgic... my friend used to wear Daisy so maybe that's what? Picnic Summer Daisies is a generic sweet fruity floral (not sweet candied florals), the fruits are a bit sour and tart, making it a bit musty and smells like a skin-scent with some florals. Can be cloying if sprayed a lot on hot & humid summer days. Not really a fresh crisp scent, fruity juiciness, or a soft watery floral. It's pleasant, not sharp, and easy to wear but the slight mustiness and flatness bothered me a little. 6/10

I remember there was a mad dash for Picnic Summer Daisies because it was called a dupe for Daisy Marc Jacobs. When I managed to get my hands on it, I was not disappointed. I feel that it smells just like MJ Daisy but in a body mist version. I wish this was permanent with the BBW line but I'll definitely get another bottle if it returns to the stores.
