Pink Chiffon

This is sweet, youthful and comforting. It's the only thing I've had a spontaneous compliment in from a non-family member in recent history (I really, really never get compliments for some reason, even if I know my fragrances are projecting). Compliments aren't a big deal, but it really does smell approachable. It opens with pear, what smells like berry juice. It almost reminds me of Strawberry Sobe drinks of long ago 😂🥰 The fruits are sweet, but fade quickly. It settles into a bubblegum+jasmine sugarcane musk and kind of just remains linear for 2 hours (I have the fragrance mist and lotion). The lotion has more of a chewy bubblegum note to it and I think it's slightly superior to the mist. It's nice for most informal occasions. However, if you desire to be taken seriously...I would NOT wear this. Jury duty, interviews, or any professional settings would be inappropriate because has an impression of sweet naivety about it. I find this to be wonderful in all seasons beside autumn (the notes just seem...odd in autumn). It fits in the cold, and the heat oddly equally, though cool spring days are absolutely ideal. I "liked" this for nearly a year now, and 1/3 of the way through a large bottle I've finally conceded that I do, indeed, actually LOVE it. It's won my heart and simply makes me happy, and that's enough. It's not super artful, and it doesn't scream "I HAVE IMPECCABLE TASTE!!" but not everything needs to.

I happen to Looove Meow, Taste and Paris Passport even more ... and low and behold, a gourmand perfumista suggested in try Pink Chiffon. I am addicted. I am so sorry I only got one E.D.T. and a splash... I should have loaded up on this fluffy strawberry-cotton candy delish! Goes on fresh and sweet with a touch of mandarin, peach and pear. The berries, jasmine and tiaré flower deepens and mixes beautifully with the top notes : ends up smelling like berries, punch and cream. I cannot yet detect the floral notes but it does calm down all that sugar . As so many others have stated, this is NOT AT ALL cloying!!!! I love the sandalwoody-coconut drydown that gives it a certain beachy vibe. A hint of musk to make it more oriental and ' hold' the scent lingers nicely on my skin. But an Oriental Floral? I would call it Fruity Gourmand (as s.o. else said) . I am surprised to find this one lasts the longest on me ( eau de toilette and splash) than the others . My new summer b.f.f! lol! I strongly suggest if you like Pink Sugar, Paris Passport, Meow, Hard Candy, Born Wild, cotton candy fantasies etc.. And yes, the box refers to a ballerina's effortless ( nope! I should know!!! ) grace so the pink tutu became pink chiffon ;) xxx

I absolutely ADORE this one! I remember buying this, Carried Away, and Beautiful Day (the shimmer mists, which I SWEAR last longer on me, IDK!) all on the same day. I still have all three with this one having the least left in the bottle. Sooooo, I broke down and bought the EDT from someone on EBay. I LOVE it! So does my husband. And I get compliments honestly on ALL those three scents I mentioned above. The 2010's for BBW were honestly my favorite! They were fun, flirty, and just "girly". Now if only BBW would STOP discontinuing great scents! 🙏 And someone mentioned pink yogurt, and now that I think about it, it kind of does have a "strawberry pink yogurt" smell to it, but in a GOOD way! Not a sour way, at all! Just yum! And not in a gourmand way either. If that makes any sense?? It's definitely a creamy fruity floral, but not headache inducing AT ALL! I'd say it's perfectly balanced. Edit: I recently just got Velvet Petals from VS, and wow, they smell almost identical! Velvet Petals is a little bit more gourmand, but they are basically the same to me! 😁❤

In my opinion Bath, and Body Works makes the best fragrences, to me they are not as repeatative, like some others. Yes most of them are for younger people, in my opinion under 25, but then again I think I will always like smells like this, weather I wear them, or not. For me this one is light, maybe too light for me, but I still love it. Hopefully they will make a new version of this, and make it a little bit stronger, and maybe add cotton candy to the notes. I love sugary scents, but like I said I like to have more lasting power, and a bit more stronger. For me the lasting power is a 6/10. Me overall being happy with this perfume is an 8/10. A lot of Bath, and Body Works perfumes, the notes to me always blend in together, not one note overpowers another note. I don't like when two, or three notes take over a perfume, I like to be able to smell the notes all equally. There are a lot of notes in this perfume, that are my favorites. I also have Taste by Jessica Simpson, and this DOES NOT smell anything like TASTE!!! Are you being serious right now!?

Pink Chiffon was my first B&BW scent. I bought the miniature fragrance bottle for a three for one special. I remember falling instantly in love with its soft, almost too girly sweet, vanillary and fruity scent. It was almost sugar inducing diabetes coma and I'm a huge foodie/gourmand lover. Still, I always bought the multiple body mists before finally buying the perfume. Alternatives for this scent from drugstore are Calgon's Parisian Charm and Bodycology Sweet Love and Body Fantasies Pink Vanilla Kiss but personally for me, those just seem one dimensional and flat, Pink Chiffon at least carries character and retains its note. I know Rihanna's Riri is almost a dead ringer but that one is more boozer and tropical. This one was my signature scent throughout school and I would drown myself in its glory because I was such a dork and mostly my classmates suffered the pink inducing scent.

Unabashedly feminine, flirty, youthful, & sweet. I adore it. Pink Chiffon is a nostalgic scent, and though it premiered in 2012 according to Fragrantica, I sense early 2000s vibes here. It feels like a riff on Fantasy—certainly not a dupe, but in the same family (another “pink” scent for sure!). The girls who get it, get it. This is sweet, fluffy, playful stuff. Pink Chiffon is the perfect name because it captures the airy, spun-sugar quality of this scent. I get berries, vanilla, and some prim florals. It feels springlike and uplifting. It’s not elegant, but it’s not trying to be. I love it for everyday or as a comfort scent. I’m wearing it right now layered with Fantasy and the two are bomb together. Try it!

A creamy, candied, fluffy fruity floral. This is exactly how I'd imagine the color pink smells. Very girly, sweet and has a sort of cotton candy-ness to it. I personally don't get much coconut so it doesn't smell tropical or strictly summery - I actually think this could be worn year-round but it's mainly a spring daytime scent. I get the comparison to VS Velvet Petals but Pink Chiffon is definitely sweeter whereas Velvet Petals is a bit more subtle and has less of a "kick." Bodycology's Sweet Love smells nearly identical but Pink Chiffon is just a touch more elevated and *ever so slightly* sweeter. This is most definitely for those who like sweet, playful, "Barbie-esque" fragrances.

I have the body lotion and the matching shower gel. This smells like a better version of Paris Amour; it doesn't have a "sour" note that I detect in Paris Amour. This is sweet, but to me, not overly sweet and it's a flirty smelling scent too. Great for spring and summer. I'm not really sure where they got the note listing for this, but all those notes are not listed on the bottle and it doesn't smell THAT complex. And, even though I love this website, some spell check might be in order; it's Pink Chiffon, not "Pink Shiffon". No wonder I couldn't find it in the database! Anyway, if you like the flirty smelling scents that BBW has, you'll like this one too.

I bought this as a blind buy after a Fragantica member said that this is a dupe for the Ralph Lauren Big Pony no.2 (the pink one) . I loved it, got compliments in the gym. My friends told me it was a scent that made them want to eat me up. The longevity is around 3 hours, sillage is pretty strong, it’s your typical bubblegum , cotton candy smell. Imagine a teen girl with a pink bag, a strawberry flavoured lipgloss and neatly tied ponytail who’s famous in her school. The whiff of berries and apple is evident in the first whiff. Then it turns vanilla-ey. And the bottle lasts forever. I still have it though I had lost the cap and the smell has never fade.

I bought this when it first came out and it was long before I knew anything about fragrances. So it was still cold spring in Minnesota and this was headache inducing synthetic mess. I returned it immediately. All these years later I see the notes and I’m like this sounds like something I’d love. Well the heat puts these notes in full bloom and now it’s gorgeous and so amazing! Back then I didn’t know that temperature changed the way fragrance smelled, I’m so glad this still around cuz it’s a nice coconut scent and I love getting wafts of this in the heat. I’ll layer this with blissful fantasy and smell like a summer goddess in full bloom 🤩❤️

I don't know why every sweet smell has to be for the under 18 crowd, I love this. Bath and body works are hardly known for their complex and long lasting scents. They are usually fun and feminine, which I think this hits in every possible way. It's definitely a "pink" scent, so soft and creamy and just delicious. I love to layer the body wash, lotion and spray, and it lasts a decent amount of time on me, although I do have to reapply every few hours (like every 3-4). It's a body spray so I don't expect full on all day staying power. My man loves this, and he is extremely sensitive to scent, I love it too.

It does smell like Velvet Sugar. Like others have said, it is intensely sweet. The scent is pleasant, but also hits you with everything at once. I had a hard time picking out any notes besides berries and pear. I pretty much love anything BBW puts out. I'm just not that picky. There's nothing wrong with Pink Chiffon, but seems to project sugar instead of the complex (mumbles rest of notes) listed. Update There is a distinct buttery note as well, which I find creamy and pleasant, unexpectedly gourmand. As the weather warms up, I'm liking this more and more.

Lots of wild berries and some pear topped with some lovely delicious cream Yum! Creamy, fruity, sweet yet juicy. I love this. I don't get a lot if any of the florals but I get a lot of fruit. This reminds me of a strawberries and cream dessert. Very gourmand, very delicious. I completely get why BBW likened it it to icing. I've got the body mist and it lasts around 3 hours which is pretty good for a mist, when layering it lasts even longer. Spring would be the best season to wear this but the creaminess makes it accessible to Autumn/ Winter too.

I always have a problem with BBW scents being either too soapy or too sour smelling. They smell good on others, but not on me and always stung my nose. But I discovered Pink Chiffon and I LOVE IT! I started off with just the lotion, then moved up to the shower gel and body spray and I am saving up to buy the toilette :) It's an every day scent, I love wearing it to work. It's light, but it's definitely noticeable to others. It smells like sweet flowers, but when I wear it, I feel like I smell like pink bubble gum! LOVE!

This is such a beautiful fragrance! A sweet, fruity and easy to wear smell. I can't understand why some people say that this smell is childish... I'm 24 and this is my signature fragrance right now! To me, this smell is uplifting and cheerful! Like it was saying to me "You're going to have a good day!". I had a lot of compliment with it too. I've almost finish my bottle and I'm pretty sad about it... I will buy it again in the future for sure! :) (Sorry if there's mistakes! I'm working hard on my english! ;) )

To me this smells like a trifle, which is a layered dessert popular in Great Britain. The layers in Pink Chiffon consist of fresh mixed fruits (surprisingly "real smelling" for a fairly inexpensive perfume), vanilla whipped cream, and coconut cake with coconut sprinkles. The musky/woody drydown is given a slight "edge" with the unexpected addition of powdery florals. This is a sweet scent, but it is not as candy-like as Pink Sugar or Cotton Candy Girly-Girl. Longevity and sillage are good but not spectacular.

I have the mist in this. It's delightfully sweet and just right on days when I want something light after a shower. It also layers beautifully with Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy. When I first bought this I went crazy the first day trying to think of what this reminds me of. After a day it came to me. This is like a sweeter fruitier Joop All About Eve. (Though I wore All About Eve many years ago. Don't buy it based on my musing.) I like this very much. When my small bottle is gone I may get the EDT

This is one of the gifts my brother bought for me. This is also my favorite from bath & body works. Its sweet and fruity at the same time. Its has a sugary and vanilla flavor that would make you want to just keep spraying on yourself. I love the sweet scent you first smell when you spray it but leaves a vanilla dry down. Its sweet and alluring, girly, light and musky. I would definitely buy it or ask my brother t buy it for me again.

Light, gentle and overall just one of those scents that gives me a good feeling. I don't know about others, but sometimes there is something nice about smelling like every other girl in the world at times. Personally, I find perfumes a little fussy at times. When I'm a little overwhelmed by perfume choices, I turn to this scent: a nice floral with a light sugar coating that is soft and won't choke everything in sight.

It blows my mind how many scent snobs there are in this world. I am baffled how people put things into age group categories - get over yourself - anyone can smell pretty and have fun at any age -with any perfume. Stop being so narrow minded and enjoy life for what it is worth - smells and all. This is a great scent, and no I don't believe all sweet smells are for children or teenagers.
